The Dropships were the first Imperial vehicles to land on the surface of Isht, landings smoothing out into a large displacement of dust and dirt as the repulsors abaord them slowed them down drastically. Then their landing claws and supports extened, and they settled down with an auidble clunk. Not one minute had passed since they landed then one side of the pod folded down into a ramp, and a grinding noise of some big machinerey was heard. Then a slight rumbling was produced as the Juggernaught Support Vehicles rolled down the ramps, away from the pods in which they had come down in, and lined up in a large vacant parking lot to a building under construction. Some of the permacrete cracked as the Naughts rolled onto it, but it did not cause too much damage. Then, with their descending jobs finished, it was time for the pods to ascend back to their mothership. Their repulsorlifts fired, and the pods ascended to a height of five hundred meters, from which their main thrusters fired, propelling them back into orbit. As they approached the Victory Star Destroyer, their retros once again fired, and they slowed to a stop very near the VSD, from which tractor beams guided the pods back into the hangar bay, and once into the hangar, magnetic couplings attached to the pods, and lifted them and put them into the storage area of the hangar bay.
With the Juggernaughts fully deployed, it was time for the artillery to do the same. First one Sentinel Shuttle landed, and deployed fifty stormtroopers with fifty medium repulsor-sleds. Then a second shuttle landed, and deployed another fifty stormtroopers, and fifty E-web Heavy Repeating blasters. The sleds were brought to the shuttle, and were used to offload the blasters. Then the remaining shuttles landed, and deployed the remaining stormtroopers. Finally, a lambda shuttle landed, and deployed fifty elite Special Navy Commandoes, a last minute addition by the General, and the General himself deployed from the shuttle. With their duty done the remaining Sentinel Shuttles, and Lambda Shuttle returned to the Victory Star Destroyer Mark I in orbit.
The General ordered base camp to be set up here, in one of the most secure cities on Isht, the captial city. The tents were assembled, the pre-frabicrated buildings, and the depots. The Ishori came out in record numbers to welcome the Imperial troops, seen as peacekeepers, with flowers, refreshments, and gifts. One trooper recieved a box of chocolates, while another a good luck charm. The general imagined that his troops would come to love the world and it's citizens despite the anti-alien biase they were trained to adopt as their culture. But they had a job, a duty to perform. A pillar of smoke rising from a city some twenty miles due south reminded them of that duty, and they board hastily drafted landspeeders, and set off to do their duty, some fifty E-webs, and five hundred stormtroopers being sent to this city alone. Then the rest of the army was deployed, along with eight of the Juggernaughts, leaving the command staff, two hundred fifty stormtroopers, ten E-webs, and two Juggernaughts to defend the city itself from any sudden uprisings.......

The Imperial troops debarked from the landspeeders some one mile outside the city of Ishuunt, a city with a population of more than one hundred thousand Ishori. The Imperial troops deployed the Artillery in camoflauged emplacements, then some one hundred fifty stormtroopers strapped on jungle camoflague armour while the other fifty marched into the city in order to draw out the armed Naval officers that were conducting the riot. After thirty minutes of terse waiting, and hearing cries, and shouts over the comlinks, the remaining thirty stormtroopers emerged from the city, being chased by a mob of some two hundred Naval cadets armed with blasters, and led by an aging Ishori commander, a former Rear-Admiral, guessing by his medals, and uniform. When they approached within blaster range of the concealed troops, one of them raised a hand, then all thirty of them dropped to the ground, the signal to open fire. The meadow erupted into a firestorm as the Imperial artillery, and troops opened fire on the onrushing Naval cadets, and officers. Many were felled within the first minute, and some managed to return fire, while others simply dropped their weapons and ran for their lives. Five more of the decoy force stormtroopers were killed before the battle was over. Emerging from their hidden cover, the jungle commando disguised stormtroopers surrounded the remaining thirty Ishori in the middle of the field, and beckoned ambuluances just now arriving from the captial to cart them off to hospitals. Some twenty had managed to make it back inside the city, but they were too scared now to continue rioting. The city of Ishuunt was now secure. The stormtrooper commander sent five clicks on his comlink to the General, a job well done with light casualties.
The next city with roits was a small city, but an important one as it contained the main commerical landing and offloading platforms for freighters arriving offplanet with shipments of raw materiels for the manufacturing plants on Isht. Some forty Naval officers, former guards and inspectors at the spaceport, had siezed control of three mobile artillery platform from a local weapons depot, and were using them to slowly wear down and destroyed bulk freighters as they were being unloaded, causing millions of credits worth of damage. Two Juggernaughts, and fifty stormtroopers were sent to quell this uprising. The stormtroopers went in first, clearing a path for the Juggernaughts. Two stormtroopers were killed by blasts from one of the MAEs, then the Juggernaughts came in. One blasted a MAE with a medium laser cannon in seconds after entering the landing field, reducing it to molten scrap and killing the nine officers that had manned it. The Juggernaught then entered the hangar bay completley, and used it's considerable array of firepower to reach across the landing field, and blow to @#%$ another MAE that was sneaking up on a vulnerbale Bulk cruiser containing a valuable shipment of Corusca Gems to be melted, and reformed into fine glass decanters. The third MAE was missing, but then it suddenly appeared in the blind spot of the Juggernaught, preparing to blast it's vulnerable machinery and immobilize it. But, the Ishori Naval Officers had forgotton one criticalt thing. There were two Juggernaughts in the area. Before the MAE could fire off a shot, it was enveloped in fire from the heavy laser cannon of the other Juggernaught, having come to assist it's partner from the other side of the field. Soon afterwards, the stormtroopers had rounded up, and imprisoned the remaining thirteen rioters Naval officers. The main Juggernaught commander sent a six click comlink message to the General in charge, a job well done with minimal casualties.
The third city in question was a northern city, not important at all by Imperial standards, but never the less a city that needed to be subdued in order for Imperial power, peace, and goodwill to reign on Isht. One platoon of forty stormtroopers and a E-web were sent here. The Imperials went in on a disguised landspeeder, and set up the E-web to where it could fire out of the main hold of the speeder. Then, they drove by the site were some fifty Naval cadets were cheering on three officers that were setting fire to flags with Imperial emblems on them. While Special Navy troopers already in placed fire their sniper rifles on the officers, the E-web opened up on the crowd, mowing down numerous cadets. Within five minutes it was all over, all the rioters were dead. The Commander sent a comlink flash to the General, seven clicks. A job well done, no Imperial casualties.
The General recieved these reports and others that told him that the riots had all been quelled within a day. One day, and their jobs were already done. Now it was time for the rebuilding to begin.........

The manufacturing sector of Isht hadn't been hit too hard by the Imperial occupation, but had been hit hard in the past by orbital bombardements caused by warships of the Diamalan fleet. With the occupation of Diamal having occured, and the Diamalan fleet being destroyed, construction could finally return to normal. The Isht manufacturing sector at it's height consisted of ten large plants, and fifty smaller assembler factories. Now one fourth of that number remained. But the Imperials had big ambitions to drastically improve that. Their plans called for fifty large manufacturing plants along, along with two hundred smaller plants, and twenty recycling plants. Whereas before the invasion thirty percent of all workable Ishori were unemployed, now only five percent would be. Truly it was amazing what feats Imperial engineering were capable of. Next up was the civilian population. It had suffered, again, horribly in the constant wars between the Ishori, and Diamalan federations. At it's climax of prosperity, the population of the Ishori race had numbered some thirty billion beings. Now, after constant war, and poverty, it had steadily, and in a few instances, drastically declined to the relativley small figure of five billion. The governer instilled on Isht purchased, with funds formely diverted to the military, medical supplies from the Imperial goverment to ensure long and safe lives for the Ishori. Within ten years, it was anticipated, Isht's population would soar once again to ten billion, and in fifty years, it would reach an incredible fifty billion, a high, good number for a world of the Galatic core. Indeed, life was now good for the average Ishori. Within the time span of a week, the Imperials had taken their revenge against the Ishori space navy for the damage they had inflicted on the Imperials, among other times, at Bothawui during the resurgence of Grand Admiral Thrawn, or rather, of a con man named flim, and also of damage inflicted in other galatic wide battles. At the same time, the Imperials had made a good job of once again filling in the role of galatic police, once maintained by soldiers of the New Republic. All in all it was a good week for the Empire. Gloria Imperuim.
