The Imperial cruiser Inflacable, having retrieved Commander Kyric Zen from the wreckage of the Shoto cruiser, and was now speeding away, turned aside breifly as an extremly large explosion lit up all of nearby space. There was a brilliant explosion on the after end of the large Executer Super Star Destroyer. As the crew of the Imperial warship watched, the fireball expanded to consume the ship, reducing her to large and many small pieces of expanding rubble, some of which drifted harzardly towards the other ORS ships that were in formation with the ship. Many escape pods managed to make it from the doomed ship, but by estimate, 75% of the crew went down with her. Then the Imperial warship resumed it's original course, being followed by the Venom, and several smaller ships. A hyperspace course out of the system was plotted, away from the influence of the remaining Gravity Well Projecting Interdictor cruisers. Likewise, the other ships that had rescued the crews from the destroyed interdictors also plotted their jumps.
Commander Kyric Zen was brought before the Commander of the Cruiser, and the taskforce it's self, Commodore Braxus. The Commodore stood and saluted the Governer as he was brought in, then proceeded to began speaking,
"Goverener, I am Commodore Braxus. On the behalf of the Imperial Navy, I welcome you to my flagship. Our orders are to escort you, and the crews of the destroyed ships that we managed to reach, back to Bakura. Those men that need it are being seen by our Medical officers. I trust your departure will not hinder your fleet's efforts?" asked the Commodore.
OOC:
Imperial Fleet outbound, plotting escape vector.
Kyric Zen has been retrieved.

The Farfalen fleet continued to pull to the far side of the planet, all the while gaining distance between them and the planet, a sure sign of retreat. Admiral Jzoks felt an immeasurable amount of grief for the lives of the lost sailors. In Farfalen, you serve on a craft because you are the best. They would be hard to replace.
"Commander, send out a sincere appology from me." Jzok somberly told his first mate. An equally somber yes was given. A "sincere appology" from the commanding officer was a term used when those that could not leave the theater under their own power initiated a self-destruct sequence to avoid being captured. Those that were in bad positions, but could still leave, knew to fight their way out, and if that failed then destroy themselves before captured.

The Assault wedges closed in and destroyed the already disabeled Shoto. The disabeling of the Executor didn't change their disposition. They knew that it wasn't destroyed and would probably be able to fight another day. The planetary Ion Cannon network fired a final blast disabling one of the cutter pickets. Seconds later it self destructed. Then all the ORS ships moved activated their tractor beams. Straining their engines to the maximum they managed to pull the Sovereign out of the inexorable pull of the gravity well and establish it a safe orbit.

The Admiral watched with grim satisfaction as the full salvo of missiles from the capital craft slammed into the doomed interdictor. The shields went down after the first few hit and the rest tore the ship to unsalvageable shreds. She smiled and looked over at the Captain.
"Nice work. One Interdictor destroyed. We'll tally it up as a group kill. Move us in towards Bakura."
"What about the Imperial forces that are outbound?"
"Let them go. We have a nof fire agreement."
"Right."
The three large TTR vessels of war moved forward towards Bakura in the hopes of hooking up with the ORS forces. THey broadcast a signal to the ORS ships asking them if they could speak momentarily before the TTR vessels had to leave and head back to their homes.
Actions:
1 Interdictor Destroyed

The Steadfast.
"Ma'am? Transmission from Imperial ships requesting we cease and desist pod capture operations."
Laire Kresh smiled, surprised the Imperials had taken this long to arrive.
"Tell them that as non-combatants, the rules of war state right of way to combatants and as such we will continue our course irregardless.
Oh, and thank them for not violating the treaty, we wouldn't want to be involved in destruction of part of the Imperial fleet. Such an embarrassment would probably earn the Imperial CO a demotion!"
Sarcasm was evident as she spoke, watching her ships continue to engage, irregardless of the Imperial request. In war she had no time for pointless civilities.
Unidentified 418 cruiser.
"Its pretty much empty, their pods must have taken most of the crew away..."
Captain Shannahan smiled at the forlorn hope from his lieutenant. Noone would really entirely abandon the ship in this state, only the more jumpy of the crew. And those were the type he DID want to fight...
"Continue onto objective Lieutenant." Elsewhere on the ship, McGuigan too smiled before hefting his blaster. About a minute later as his squad moved down the isolated halls of the interdictor, the officer stopped, raising his fist in the air in the gesture for his unit to do so too.
Ahead and to the left he could see the beginings of a makeshift barracade. He paused, listening for the enemy, but heard nothing.
"Rialk?"
The private jumped immediately to his side. A flurry of hand signals sent the man moving slowly towards the barracade as McGuigan removed a fragmentation grenade from his belt clasp.
The private stuck his head into a hole in the baracade and was greeted with a torrent of blaster fire. Private Rialk went down clutching his face, although not much of it was left.
"@#%$."
Behind him McGuigans communications NCO radioed in the engagement. Ignoring the now dead squad member, the Hapan pulled off the safety cap of the grenade and ran towards the obstruction, taking care to avoid its fire arc. He waited till only a pair of seconds was left before lobbing it through the hole and heard only a single shout of warning before the satisfying krump of the detonation.
Using a mirror on wire he looked through the hole. An E-Web lay clattered on the floor, its crew incapacitated around it.
"Let the Captain know whats happened. Lets procede."

"Sir, look" said the first officer.
The Commodore looked out the viewport as more explosions enveloped the Executor Super Star Destroyer. These would be secondary explosions caused by exploding storage tanks, and ammunition lockers. The vessel's engines had been more cleanly torn away than those of the Knight Hammer's at Yavin 4 so long ago. Even though it was an enemy vessel, the Commodore felt just a little sad at seeing a mighty Imperial designed warship go down in flames. Then, with it's engines gone, gravity came to administer the coup' de grace. Without any propulsion whatsoever, the ship began to be pulled by gravity towards the planet of Bakura, and the waiting maw of the planetery energy shield.
"Let's not hang around here any longer. We have what we came for." said the Commodore.
With that, the Imperial fleet lurched forwards, and was gone into hyperspace, bound for the planet of Vladet.
OOC: All Imperial forces withdrawn from system.
Some survivors from Interdictors, Zen, Kyric among them, also withdrawn.
One Executor SSD in some deep doo-doo.

In the moments before the death of the
Rapier, her captain, an old man, one who'd foughten everywhere from Hoth to Esseless began a laugh. The phrase, the bigger they are, the harder they fall, would now come into play. The majority of the fighting had occured very close to the planet, insanely close. The gravity of the planet was grabbing the unpowered wreckage and pulling it in. The once grand Star destroyer would now be the bane of defeat.
BOOM! The Shoto was destroyed.
-----------------------
The remainder of the fleet, now quite some distance away plotted a hyperspace course and left. Back at the planet, though, the Executor Star Destroyer momentum was increasing, the multi-million ton vehicle was gaining too much velocity to pull. Not even the gencore shielding could destroy it all.
OOC: I can agree with the damages distributed by Marth.

Unidentified 418 Cruiser.
All around the ship the squads moved, their actions precise and highly illustrated by the trail of dead Farfalen soldiers and sailors.
The ships were their's.
Or so they thought.
Core overload initiated. 2 minutes until reactor mass critical.
Abandon ship.
Instantly the dim hallways were lightened as emergancy lights began to flash, blood red lighting illuminating everything. Lieutenant McGuigan immediately hailed Shannahan.
"Sir?"
On the other end the Captain grimaced. @#%$ fanatics.
"We can't do a single thing. Make full haste back to your boats. I'll hail the fleet and tell them to move to a safe distance..."
McGuigan nodded to himself before 'aye siring' his acknowledgement. Shouting at his men, they fled double time back towards their ships.
Luck was with them that day, they cleared the explosion radii enough to watch the ships destruction themselves. A beautiful sight yes, but in McGuigans mind something entirely wasteful.

Private First class Zadi Furn, along with a handful of his friends sat in their escape pod. They had been some of the few who had made it of the Zen. At the moment, they were drifting aimlessly in space. Just sitting there, waiting to be picked up by someone. Their lone viewport would be good enough to tell whether or not they were friends or foe. The group was part of the security detail to Lord Admiral Zen. When he left, they left, but they had since been seperated from their leader.
"Holy Hell!" Exclaimed one of Zadi's comrades, he was looking out the viewport.
"What is it Kio?"
"The Star destroyer..." His voice trailed off, the Super Star Destroyer, Sovereign had breached the planetary shield. While, the shields were strong, they could not prevent physical matter from completely entering. Even though the armor was pretty much burned through on the forward sections of the ship. "Went down..."
"Duh, @#%$ for brains." Remarked another soldier.
"No! I mean, it crashed into Bakura!"
"STANG!" Another remarked.
"The ship, just punctured the shield and crashed."
"All those poor people."
"Sucks to be them."
"Shouldn't have been with Meer the Queer."
"Heh.. Meer the Queer."
"I don't get it."
"..."
"..."
"OH! I get it."

Before the ships hit the shield the Imperial star Destroyers and other ships in orbit opened fire. It wasn't going to be one of the things they would be most proud of in their life, firing on a friendly ship but it was needed. Otherwise thousands of civilians might die. Thousands of torpedoes hit it scattering debris. Some of this debris was tractored, other pieces hit the shield. When it was all over only 1km of the bow was left to hit the planet. Slowly the ship went down and impacted near the center of the largest sea on Bakura. The resulting shockwave sent huge waves and outwards and flooded a few islands but none of them had any inhabitants. Thanks to luck and skill no civilians on Bakura were killed.
OOC:
Maybe a 2-1km chu
