The Guerriere exited hyperspace near the planet of Kubindi. The ship was a large Bulk Cruiser, modified to carry commercial cargo and carry very little in the way of weaponry. The ship was carrying trade goods and foodstuffs for the merchants on Kubindi. The ship was currently carrying two hundred thousand metric tons of supplies for the merchants, who would then take it, and sell it to the Kubindis, and anyone else who needed it. The freighter approached the planet, and the captian of the ship, one James Keller, took to the ship's bridge, and began the long process of clearing the trade customs.
"This is Captian James Keller, reporting to the bridge. All hands on deck, every station give me their report." said the Captian.
"This is sensors, nothing hostile being reported here. We have a clear lane through to the planet." said the sensors officer.
"This is Navigation, nothing intruding on my screens either. Plotting a course now." said the Navigation officer.
"This is Guns, all weapons ready to power up if need be, crews standing by." said guns.
"This is the supply officer, all cargo is secure, over." said the Supply officer.
With the rest of the stations having reported in, Captian Keller moved to the main communications station, and reported in to traffic control.
"This is the Bulk Cruiser Guerriere, carrying a cargo consisting of foodstuffs, and supplies bound for the local merchants stations on Kubindi, as per orders of the Merchant's Guild. Transmitting access codes now." said Captian Keller as he rattled off the codes that had been supplied to him.

"Transport Guerriete, this is Kubindi Ground Control. You have permission to land on the planet. You must power down your weapons now, before proceding any farther into the system. Once you have done that, proceed. Follow this flight path. Deviate from the flight path and we will be forced to take that as a hostile action, and will use whatever means necessary to prevent you."
The transport was given a path through the minefield and down to the planet, going through a gap that would open in the Gencore Two shields once their weapons powered down. Troops prepared to check the contents of the transport once it was on the ground. Due to the war, this was being done on each planet, for every transport. If some poisoned food got in, or somehow a bomb got in, the results could be terrible.

The Bulk Cruiser Guerriere followed her assigned vectors, and landed on the surface of the planet, where customs agents came aboard to inspect her cargo. Upon testing of the Foodstuffs, no posions were detected, and upon inspections of the other items, no bombs were detected or found. Off loading the cargo of the freighter, the merchants thanked the captian very much for his speedy deliverey. The people of Kubindi were very much coming to appreciate the quality of the merchant's items.
Soon thereafterwards, after hitting the stands of the merchants, they began to be sold by the dozens, foodstuffs, and souvenirs. One particular item that came to the attention of many young soldiers of the Galatic Coalition were the coral statues of Alliance heroes, Admiral Ackbar, Mon Mothma, Han Solo, Leia Organa, and others being depicted in heroic stances. These soldiers never had the pleasure of seeing, much less serving under such people. Within hours of hitting the stands, many young troops, some off duty, some of their patrol arcs going by the stands, had purchased the items. By twenty four hours after arriving on the planet, there were at least five statues in every Galatic Coalition Base, Defensive Shield Generator Station, and Ground Weaponry.
It was now twenty five hours after the statues had been taken from controlled temperature storage, and the unique mix of chemicals that, while not noticable to the customs officials, meant that without their presence, the statues began to melt. As they melted, a certain toxin was released into the air. The toxin was qucikley piped through the various air vents in the bases. All of the Galatic Coalition troops, no matter what their alien species, began to cough violentley, then collapse. Within an hour, all of the troops on the planet of Kubindi, along with a good bit of the civilian population, had been put into a deep coma.
If the planets were attacked, it would fall to the spaceships to provide any such defense of the planet. Since the toxin was very fast acting, felling any person within minutes of inhaling, they had no time to activate the shield generators, or weaponry before passing out.

OOC: Kraken, stuff like this was exactly what we were looking for. If something had some chemicals in it that could react and make a nock out gas, we would have found it. If something was kept at a certain temperature and didn;t need to be, we would have placed them in an enclosed environment, and left it there for a long while, at various temperatures, to see what would happen. Our officials know that the Empire and other organisations have used biological weapons, so we would have looked for them. This is the kind of thing we were looking for. It's a rather good idea, but due to use mentioning that we were going to look for possible hazards, it's obvious that this wouldn't get past our inspections.
