Lavality looked around, making sure the coast was clear, then hide around the landing structs, satisfied she hadn't been scene, she began to follow Trazu and his group, hiding behind either a rock or something else to make sure he wasn't seen

"Wonder where they are going," she asked herself as she noticed them looking down at something, it then dawned on her. Wait! Where on a CLIFF?! Whoa! hmm... she pondered the matter at hand, wonder if I could find another way down...

“I will lead you all the way.” Trazu said with a tone of finality. “I am done with hiding from my past, though I appreciate your concern Master Dolash. As for the blasters, no thank you, I have my own weapons.”
He pulled back his cloak just enough to show the lightsaber and normal sword on his belt.

“No offense meant to present parties…” shooting a glance at Marek.

“But I believe blasters are the weapons of a coward.”

Marek dismissed the comment. Getting into a debate would do no good for anybody, especially his relationship with the Jedi order. He didn't consider himself a coward so as far he was concerned there was no cause to get upset.

As Trazu searched for the entrance, Zolar stood at the canyons edge looking down. One false step and it'd be a long drop with a sudden stop. Though danger such as this loomed, there was a stillness about it, a sort of calm that was almost eerily familiar to that which he knew from his own home on Bestine. That is, all but the slight disturbance he felt in the force. Still very green when it came to acknowledging the different messages the force sent out, he understood enough to know that something wasn't quite right here. He almost began to believe that their presence here was a bad idea. Though his feelings leaned more towards the negative, he kept his thoughts locked away, after all what did he know of the force?

“There,” Trazu called out.

Marek could see him pointing at one part of the canyon wall.

“The entrance is there. We’ll need to use the Force to open it.”

With a sigh, he moved closer to the rest of the group.

Dolash nodded. "Then there we shall go. The cliff face looks dangerous to navigate, the heavy stuff should be left behind - we can bring it down after us, I'm sure. Take great care, everyone, and be mindful of the Force in this place."

"What dangers could such a place hold in the Force?" said Jubaz, his brow furrowing, but Dolash shook his head.

"That's exactly what we've got to look out for. The Force attracts strange creatures and mysteries to it, so we might encounter anything. I simply caution to be on your guard both physically and mentally."

Slowly, laboriously, the group inched down with great care towards the point that Trazu had indicated, with Barris floating easily around them. "She's sure got it easy." grumbled Proq to Jubaz, but Jubaz was busy gently sliding down the rocks. With a look of indifferent ease, his lithe rodian frame and natural hunting skills allowed him to navigate first to the ground, even as the Twi'lek Jedi grumbled onwards "Is everyone an awesome climber but me?"

"No." said Ian, as he clambered by him "But you're the one who won't stop complaining about it."

Elsewhere in the climb, Katria moved down the rocks to a place between Trazu and Marek - Dolash was near the bottom already, for a being so large the cliff seemed only half the distance. Katria took this opportunity to look both of the new additions up and down, before saying. "You've chosen a good time to become a Jedi, Marek, if Trazu's findings have more clues - Dolash is a natural born explorer, so you'll probably spend your apprenticship roaming the galaxy for mysteries and lore. On the other hand, if your cave - Trazu - turns out to be a bit of a bust, we'll have a hell of a time finding any more leads. To be honest, we've just been hoping the Force'll guide us on to the next clue so far. You end up doing a lot of that as a Jedi, trusting in the Force and so forth."

The climb down was harder this time, but only because he had to be careful around other party members as he climbed. Man that Twi’lek was already getting on his nerves due to his complaining, but weren’t male Twi’leks like that anyway? All planning and scheming but not willing to do the dirty work themselves? Trazu decided it would be best not to label Proq with a stereotype, since he barely knew him and there was a good chance he could prove Trazu wrong.

"You've chosen a good time to become a Jedi, Marek, if Trazu's findings have more clues - Dolash is a natural born explorer, so you'll probably spend your apprenticeship roaming the galaxy for mysteries and lore. On the other hand, if your cave - Trazu - turns out to be a bit of a bust, we'll have a hell of a time finding any more leads. To be honest, we've just been hoping the Force'll guide us on to the next clue so far. You end up doing a lot of that as a Jedi, trusting in the Force and so forth." He heard Katria say beside him.

“I have little doubt we will find something.” Trazu said in response. “Between the wall carvings and the sphere, I will be very surprised if there’s no clues to the reason for the disturbance in the Force.” He both felt and saw her curious look at his statement: seems she wasn’t told those details. “The wall carvings depict important events in the galaxies’ history.” He explained. “How recent they go I do not know, as last time I didn’t study them fully. The sphere is imbued with the Force and seems to be ‘programmed’ to serve not only as a warning device, but likes to reveal secrets in the events of your own life you didn’t know and should’ve known. At least…that’s what it did with me.”

He remembered what happened when he touched the thing: it showed him the K’Satizitus had blocked his Force senses, keeping him from knowing his lifemate’s life was in danger. While it relieved him to discover it wasn’t his fault for not knowing, it still hurt, but rather then pushing the memory away this time, he let it fade out on it’s own as he focused on climbing. Soon enough he had reached the bottom of the canyon and his mind was once again clear of negative memories.

While some of the party worked on bringing down the heavy equipment, Trazu studied the door to the cave system. It was then he felt the first sense that something wasn’t quite ‘right’, like something had changed since he was last here. He knew the spirit had gone on a bit of a rampage through the place after it took over, but it wasn’t anything the spirit did that was triggering this. What was wrong wouldn’t be known until they got in, so Trazu reached out with one hand and concentrated on the door, trying to will it to open. He felt it ‘wanting’ to move and maybe it even budged a bit, but Trazu realized he no longer had the ‘strength’ to move it. It was another bit of evidence that most of his Force power came from the K’Satizitus.

“I’m going to need help opening the door.” He said with a sigh to the others. “With the spirit gone I no longer have the strength and experience to open it myself.”

Lavality carefully climbed down that cliff, staying out of sight of the Jedis. "Ow... ow..." she stopped every now and then to check her footing then continued down

She thought about what she was doing. How could I have talked myself into this, and what about my master.... if he find's out where I am my goose is cooked she said as she shimmed down the side. I certainly hope we don't get any wind today...

As she neared the botttom she noticed something different about the cliff, this little area of the cliff didn't have any places for her to grab onto, and it was at least a good 2-3 foot fall if she decided to jump

She thought about it, then noticed a slit slide on the cliff, and moved over to that end, before letting go. She slid down and hit a rock, cursing mentally at the pain,Next time I'll bring along something... she told herself as she got up and limped over to a nearby rock, then hid behind it and watched the group

Moving down the canyon wall was almost a mechanical response from Marek. He had done it many times before, obviously not on this relatively unknown planet, but in other settings. Though he scaled it's expanse with little to no effort, he still managed to be one of the last to touch the ground.

On the way down he heard someone commenting to him.

You end up doing a lot of that as a Jedi, trusting in the Force and so forth."

Zolar didn't verbally respond to the remark, he just sort of nodded.

However once more focusing on the task at hand as everyone had safely made it to the ground, Marek distanced himself a bit from the collective. He still had a very uneasy feeling about this place and it had grown stronger the closer they got to the cave.

Trazu began to speak and it caught Mareks attention so he listened in. “I have little doubt we will find something. Between the wall carvings and the sphere, I will be very surprised if there’s no clues to the reason for the disturbance in the Force. The wall carvings depict important events in the galaxies’ history.”

He explained.

The first thought that came to Mareks mind was, that the time of his death would be revealed to him. What bigger secret could there be? At least he didn't believe there was anything else that could rock him.

“I’m going to need help opening the door.” Trazu replied with a sigh, “With the spirit gone I no longer have the strength and experience to open it myself.”

At this point the main focal point became Dolash, after-all he was the Jedi-Master and leader of sorts of this expedition.

Dolash sized up the door, and nodded. "Such a door is meant to be opened through the Force, and we should oblige it." he turned to Marek, seeing a chance to impart a lesson.

"When the Force leaves it's touch on something, then interacting with it is an entirely different prospect. To move a door normally through the Force you would reach out and use your energy to influence it's movement. However, it requires far less power to force open a door like this - you must only touch it correctly with the Force, like a key into a lock, and you will find your job far easier. Flow with the natural Force imparted to this object, and you will find your strength increased."

Marek had become the center of attention as the others finished bringing down their equpiment. Jedi began to surreptitiously turn their eyes to the padawan, to see if his training was catching on. Even Dolash took a step back, and nodded encouragingly.

"Have no fear if you find the Force hard to locate - the first time is difficult, but it is the first step towards mastering manipulation of objects and also manipulation of thoughts and emotions. This is an important skill to cultivate, and also one only to be used wisely."

The group waited to see what Marek would do.

"Wow, he put me on the spot," Marek told himself.

Every eye was trained on him, to see what his next move was. They all awaited his response.

"Have no fear if you find the Force hard to locate - the first time is difficult, but it is the first step towards mastering manipulation of objects and also manipulation of thoughts and emotions. This is an important skill to cultivate, and also one only to be used wisely."

He gave Dolash a nervous look.

All in all he was feeling pretty uncomfortable, but he wasn't going to back down, he was going to make an attempt to touch it.

"Alright..."

Marek closed his eyes and reached out with the force. He could feel the texture of the stone, the warmth that it put off. He could feel its energies swirling about, gliding just above its surface. Even through the force, it gave off a sense of looming. He tried to push it open but it barely budged inch. He continued to assault it with the force, but he was failing miserably.

"Touch it correctly," Dolash reiterated.

Zolar reached out once more, this time he allowed himself to meld with the stone through the force. He could feel the life current contained in it, as he had felt back in Theed during his first lessons with the pieces of wood. He blanketed himself in its clutches and flowed through it particle by particle. Then in an almost nonchalant movement he waved his hand away, and the stone door slid open. A rush of warm stale air followed, blowing a cloud mixture of dirt and dust into the midst of the unprepared group.

Still locked in his embrace with the stone, Marek was completely unaware that it had slid open and that he was covered in a layer of grime and dirt.

Someday, maybe I’ll be able to do that again. Trazu thought as he watched Marek open the door, feeling the faintest hints of jealously. He had always done things like this himself before, never having to have someone else do them for him. It was a blow to his pride to have to concede defeat and have someone else give it a try, especially if it was something he was capable of doing before. However, pride wasn’t always a good thing, as he had learned oh so recently. So he swallowed it.

“You can ‘let go’ of it now.” Trazu said to Marek, chuckling faintly as he moved toward the open door. “Good job.” It probably wasn’t his place to give words of encouragement to the new padawan, but he felt it wouldn’t hurt.

Focusing his attention on the cave, he took a step into it and immediately stopped, the feeling he got before much stronger now. The place was familiar, yet unfamiliar at the same time now, that feeling that something wasn’t quite right increasing. Taking out a flashlight and flicking it on, he shined it on the walls first.

The carvings were still there, though now he could see them much more clearly since he had a proper light source this time around, and nothing seems to have changed. He shined it on the ceiling and floor, nothing different in it’s nature there either. Then he shined his light down the passage way itself and it clicked.

It was more his Ranger training then the Force that revealed it to him, his familiarity with the land and it’s subtle changes. He may not have been able to see properly, but his body ‘remembered’ how the land flowed beneath his feet and this time, though he had stood in his spot not so long ago, it had changed. Now with the flashlight he could see the slight change in the nature of the passage itself: in one place the walls were buckled inward, in another outward. The whole passage itself seemed to be slightly twisted clockwise for a few feet before righting itself further down.

“Master Dolash.” He called out. “Something is starting to warp the very walls of this place.” A thought occurred to him: what if the distortion was even worse further in?

Lavality crepted toward the entrance, she walked into the cave and watched Trazu and his group.

She stared forward, thinking and wondering. Why are they waiting? she asked herself a few times before getting a bit closer this time to get a better look at what was going on

Lavality felt something, it was mental more like something on the ground. She looked down but didn't know what she was looking for. Perhaps it was my imagenation

Becareful....

She blinked. There it was again, that same voice she heard back at the academy sometime ago when Ruse attacked her. Although she'd heard it several time's before them, she learned to trust the words even though she couldn't understand who it was. She knelt down and hide herself, listening to the words that where coming from the group
