“I don’t copy that all the way pilot,”
Jalyne smiled when she heard that. Looks like this will be easier than I thought. Thats what she thought until she heard his next statment as least.
“Recommend you eject. That could a messy landing.”
Jalyne panicked for a second, and switched her comm. to Twitters. "What do I do?..It was retorical, look I need something anything...Yes thats it, activate an eject protocal but don't actually make me eject...Yes cover it by making it look like a malfunction, and I want this to show up on sensors like normal." Then back to the other ship.
"Ok, I'(Static)..jcting"
Twitters worked on the program and ran it, making sure that it all went perfect. Jalyne waited and watched, once the DS was close enough she would make her move. She looked over at the altimeter, 2500 meters from the ground and closing fast. Common, just a little closer!
"Ejec(static)... Help!(Static)...divce?

Arensdale’s eye twitched as he lined up his scope with the diving X-wing. His own Deathsaber was slowly arcing in a downward curve that would intercept with the X-wing. He calmly armed his simulated concussion missiles and aligned his craft to achieve a missile lock. A voice jolted from his concentration.
"Ejec(static)... Help!(Static)...divce?
Frak. What the hell is this? An ethics test? Or to see if I can be fooled? What the hell. I’d rather get shot down in a simulation than let a fellow pilot crash and die. But what do I do? It’s not like I can just magically pull her fighter up with a tractor beam. The Confederation Lieutenant hit a couple of buttons on his comlink that sent an automated distress signal for rescue forces to be scrambled. Typically that included a landspeeder ambulance, landspeeder fire engines, and an airspeeder equipped with a tow cable to haul the wreck away. We don’t have a lot of time. But if the airspeeder arrives soon enough, it may be able to grapple and pull her fighter out of the dive. He thumbed his comlink.
“I have rescue forces coming to assist. There’s not much I can do, unless you’ve thought of something I haven’t. They may be able to pull your fighter out of the dive and take you back to base.”
He hesitated. “I’ll move up and shadow you.”
Arensdale geared up his acceleration lever. His black Deathsaber soared forward and down. The X-wing’s rear profile grow steadily in his cockpit.

Jalyne noticed that the other fighter was sending a distress signal. Great, Just great, I can't let that happen. Well might as well end the act.

"No need."
She said through the comlink as she reached over and nosed the fighter up as she activated the engines 100% throttle. The G forces were enough to make her pass out for a split-second. When she came-to, she reached for the comm.
"Yes Greywind 5, I do have something else in mind, sorry about the act, thank you though, I see that you would rather risk getting shot down in a simm, than allow someone to die."
With that she thought about how she would have handled something like that. She thought of the time where one of her classmates had problems and she stayed a safe distance away watching as his fighter plowed into the ground. Obviously this pilot wasn't like that, he realized that it was just a simmulation. Jalyne swung the X-wing to the right, ready for an evasive manuver.
"If you want we can end the fight, or we can start again. The choice is yours. I apologize again for the deception."
