Greetings Adriana Quinn, this is Lord Sedriss. I want you to bring immediate reinforcements. We need additional Star destroyers and manpower. The coordinates are being sent to you now. Remember Quinn, there is no stopping us this time.
It's time...An unusually happy smile crept across his face as he entered her private chambers. A look of disgust crept across her face, hidden by the dark recesses of her cloak. She stood in silence, the potent message of the Dark Lord still lingering within her mind.
She had time for one more kill....The human jaunted happily into the vaulted room, pleased to see the Dark Sorceress standing before him with her hands neatly folded before her. Her cold eyes glaired from beneath her dark robes shimmering with an untold story of struggle, and heart-ache. The human tried not to be troubled by her ominous appearance right now. He was too pleased with his prosperity... too pleased with the fact that he had
almost succeeded in his dark project for the Sith Nation.
He stood on the polished stone floor and made a cursory bow of obeisance as he trembled with excitement. "My lady..." he started, "I trust you have received word by now that our project has become more powerful that we could have possibly imagined."
"I have received word." she started as she took a step down the cold marble steps. She gestured with one long, slender finger. The human looked up at the loud clattering sound above him from the heights of the vaulted ceiling above. He was too late... he ducked, but the thick mandalorian iron cage fell squarely down over him, seating itself on the floor as if Adriana were directing it with invisible powers. Made from the finest mesh, the grid barely allowed his smallest finger to slip through.
"Excuse me, Sorceress..." he started, a slight tremble of fear in his voice. She sighed as a soothing relaxing breath escaped her lips. She loved the sensation of the Dark Side serging through her veins, pulsating with power inside of her as it fed from his fear... from his hate. "Is there something further that you wish to discuss with me? Another project, perhaps? Anything at all?!" He swollowed hard as the icy breath of death crept across his neck.
"Yes, my servant..." she said with a soft, seductive smile as she continued down the thick marble stairs. "You may die for me..."
"Uh..." He couldn't think of anything else to say. "I was hoping for something else, actually." he studdered stupidly. She smirked. "I just received word that the project was destroyed in an operation conducted by the New Republic's special forces. A band of insignificant
rebels penitrated
your defenses with outdated machinery, and blasters.... and somehow managed to obliterate an the entire project!"
The human pursed his lips, and swollowed hard, still speechless as her dark eyes glaired at him. Finally, he found the words... "I knew I must have forgotten something, your grace. I'll have to fix that in the next design."
"Yes, you will," she said with a soft chuckle. "But first, you will give me the pleasure of watching you die." She leaned forward, and kissed his forehead as he leaned against the metal grids and smiled as her eyes turned a pure white. He jumped back in fear, pulling himself against the back walls of the cage. He blinked his watery blue eyes as she vanished, and reached out to touch the fine, tough wires of his cage. He looked around, the nervousness raged like a whirlwind around him, and finally, he spotted her. She sat casually against a cold marble throne at the top of the stairs.
She sat completely still as a tiny slit opened in the floor beneath his feet. He heard soft clicking sounds, and the scrambling of sharp claws against the cold marble floor. He stepped aside as something small poked through the tiny crack in the floor. The eight-legged hard insects was a deep blue as it climbed into the chamber, pausing to probe the air briefly with a waving antennae. Within moments, at least ten more swarmed through the tiny hole as he swatted at them. They fluttered there wings from the small shell cases that cloaked them, and took flight, buzzing around the enclosed space.
"Oww!" he shouted as one of the dark blue beetles detected his movements, and swooped toward him. The beetle sunk it's sharp mandibles with serrated razor sharp edges into the thick flesh of his palm. He flailed his hand until the beetle lost it's hold, desperatly struggling against the hordes that had started to tear at his clothes. The human watched in horror as dozens more rushed forth from the hole in the floor, the smell of fresh blood drawing them closer and closer.
"Those are Piranha beetles," Adriana exclaimed as she lounged in the comforts of the throne, "Native to Yavin Four. Aren't they
precious?"
By now, the desperate and muffled screams of the human beggef dor mercy as beetles tore through his flesh, into his skin, and then deep into his stomach. Blood flowed around him, leeking from deep holes pierced through his skin as he continued to scream desperatly, throwing his body against the harsh metallic coils of the cage in a desperate, yet feutal attempt to free himself. She laughed as her eyes remained a pale white.
With a flash of crisp blue-white lightning, the man's charred remains fell to the floor.
Defender-Class Star Destroyer Death's Glory "Have the troops been loaded?" she asked coldly as she briskly walked through the airlocked doors onto the command bridge. Instantly, a great gasp of excitement, and wonder escaped the crew's lips.
She was here... The Dark Sorceress herself, Leader of the Council of Darkness. But when? Certainly they would have known if she was aboard the ship. Everyone would have known!
As she clamped her hands together, she took a seat in the smooth command chair, leaning back with a relaxing sigh as she kicked her freshly groomed legs over the chair's arm. Her tight formfitting outfit had captured the attention of a few bold enough to remain looking at her. The commander at her side swollowed hard, and handed a small datapad to her. "The Sith Fleet has already prepared to engage our enemies above Despayre. The Dark Lord of the Sith has ordered our immediate arrival in a battle-ready formation."
"I know." she replied casually.
"But... how could you know?" the commander asked in a questioning tone, still slightly nervous. She made eye contact as a filmy white color closed in around her eyes. "Must you talk so much?" she snapped.
"Helm, enter hyperspace bearing three five seven zero."
