ooc: you actually have 2 bird of prey battle groups and they're coming from different locations. One bird of Prey Battle group is still cloaked. And I'll post soon.
The cry by the sensor office echoed throughout the ship. Marth quickly strapped himself more securely into his command chair watching as the other officers around him did the same.
A shudder echoed throughout the ship as shot after shot impacted with the shields.
"Damage report, theirs and ours."
"They've concentrated their fire on us. Shields are holding at 80%. They intercepted most of our missiles with droid fighters. We have managed to breach the shields of targets Alpha and Gamma. They're both rolling to present their undamaged side to our bows."
"Alright. Load Diamond Boron Missiles in the Fore Concussion Missile Launchers only. The rest of the launchers have their standard ordnance. Each flight is to remain with their primary target. Tractor Control, to use your tractor beam to stop the target from moving. Instruct the rest of the flight to do the same.
"Aye Aye Sir."
"Communications tell, Wraith 3 and 4 to hold back from passing the target.
"Weapons keep us fire with the Pulse Turbolasers and the Ion Cannons. When we pass over them, Tractor Control will stop them from running away. We will pound them with rear-facing weaponry."
"Yes Captain."
"Shields begin recharging the damaged shield."
"Sir, we're beginning to pass over Alpha. They're transferring power to even out their shields."
"Tractor Control, hold them in place. Weapons fire with all weaponry that you can bring to bear on Alpha. Helm stop us dead."
Concussion Missiles, Proton Torpedoes, Supercharged Laser Cannon Fire, Pulse Turbolaser Fire and Ion Cannon Fire all rained down on the tiny picket ship from all directions. The shields stopped this at first butwithin seconds they fell as the mixed fire blasted through the hull.

"Order the Shadow and Explorer to flank us and open fire on the big egg (Shree)." Griff told Keyan.
The battle coordinator nodded and began issuing orders to the captains of the two Victory-class Star Destroyers.
So far the Birds of Prey were making a lot of headway against the light cruisers and the pickets. Two pickets began to list as flames shot out of it's round hull. The entire Vanguard formation was engaging the Shree and the smaller light cruisers, driving the poorly armed Ssi-ruuvi vessels back towards Lwehkk and the Ssi-ruuvi shipyards in orbit.
The two squadrons of Birds of Prey, one under the command of Marth Meer, busily attacked the pickets. The Black Hand forces were not happy that two of the enemy vessels were out of the action, they merely pressed on and calmy continued to fight.
"All non Birds of Prey target the big egg (Shree) and fire on my command" Griff said into a comlink so that the enitre Vanguard formation would hear him.
The Imperial-class Star Destroyer Defiant finally reached firing range with the Shree, and Griff told all gunners to pick any target and fire at will. The gunners happily obliged, along with the rest of the Vanguard ships. Hundreds of deadly green-gold and red-gold beams lanced across space, striking the Shree. The ship took the punishment it was deat, but would not last for long.
The Birds of Prey were having little trouble on their front. And Griff noted that one of the light cruisers began to list, but it's guns were not silent as they pounded away at the agile Birds of Prey. Another picket ship exploded brilliantly. The enemy forces seemed unfazed, and another picket ship promtly took the place of the destroyed ship. The battle continued...

"Ikrivp, they are in optimal firing range now and at full stop!"
"FIRE!"
He watched his screen at the simultaneous action. Off to his right flank a picket was being heavily pumled, its sheilds glowing silver under the pressure until they glowed no more. The hulk of the vessel becoming nothing more than a red egg shaped shell of chopped Fft.
Another Picket seemed to be suffering a similiar fate, but it seemed that a group of droids were attempting to save the ship from at least ultimate destruction by alternating tractor blasts on the oppositite side of the hall, keeping the ship rotating deflecting a good deal of the fire into bits of sheild at a time. While not sparing the vessel all the damage of its compatriot, it did save it from death as the Fft Wren's weapons came blazing in on its assailent. The kneck of the vessel became target of the massive vessels salvo, its Ion cannons blaring through the sheilds of the smaller vessel, knocking out its connection to its main hull and lost main power. The ion cannons blared through as well, collapsing the lower sheilds as the missles reigned through, landing the deathblow on the bird its long kneck glowing red under strain before finaly fracturing and floating listlessly across the space ahead.
Another set of flares occupied the sky as the left flank cought up with the fighters of the right, having targeted the second ship having tractored a picket vessel they opened fire, the droids forming halos around the fireing window, blasting their way across the open sheilds. The remaining free right flank ships added their power to the fury as the ships sheilds began to strain and shots penetrated...
"Two large vessels moving to engage! They're firing!"
The ship rocked as the two larger ships fired into the sheilds. The Ssi-Ruuvi on board were hardly jarred as their ship moved around them.
"Sheilds holding..."
"Order all available Wurrif vessels to intercept them, fighter escorts"

Griff calmy observed the destruction of one of the Birds of Prey with no anger or discontent. He merely allowed it to reinforce his resolve. The Ssi-ruuk were now facing a more determined enemy than ever.
"Silencer squadron, disengage from the assault on the light cruisers and pickets and exchange places with Rampage squadron. Your new orders are to engage any enemy reinforcements that are pulled out of hyperspace by the interdictor. Rampage squadron, you are to engage the enemy light cruisers and pickets" Griff said to Keyan, who relayed the orders to the appropriate ships.
Griff watched as the eleven attacking Birds of Prey suddenly swung about and headed at full speed to the edge of the system, where the Interdictor-class cruiser waited. The reserve squadron that Griff had placed to intercept reinforcements quickly filled the gap left by the retreating Bird squadron, attacking the light cruisers and pickets. Griff watched with interest as all the light cruiser, with fighter escort, suddenly made a mad dash for Vanguard squadron, who was attacking the Shree. But the new Bird of Prey squadron, with fresh undamaged sheilds, intercepted them and began pounding the light cruiser's sheilds.
Griff noted the minor victory then turned his attention to the large Shree-class battlecruiser. It had the combined fire of all non-Bird of Prey ships coming down on it.
"Sir" Keyan said, looking up. "The big egg (Shree) has lost all sheild power."
"Ah good. Order all ships to reload the missile tubes and prepare to fire. Untill all tubes have been sufficiently loaded, all Vanguard ships are to continue to fire at the big egg (Shree)." Griff ordered.
Griff turned back to the battle just as another picket ship exploded. That made two enemy kills in the last few minutes. But the furute if the battle was still undecided...

I have no real issuie's with the ships with a 600m diff dealing major damage to one another, but a 250m ship destroying a 400m ship in one post is incomprhensible. so please edit.
The destroyed bird of prey as well as the damaged one were not retreating, but holding the pickets in place with their tractor beams, and were not moving at all.
OOC: Actually that 400 meter ship had 11 295 meter ships attacking it. So it is reasonable. It is the equivilant of eleven Neb-B's atacking a Carrack cruiser.
(Minimum time for destroying a ship over 100 meters in two posts. And only then if the attack is twice the size, which in this case it was. Still, you need two posts.)
