Five Victory-class Star Destroyersn exited hyperspace, one on the opposite side of the planet from the battle, and four coming up behind the battle, their missiles being loaded.

Parish leaned forward, speaking to the Victory that was on the opposite side of the planet, "Invader, ground war on Endor being fought, get into the atmosphere and assist." He said.

The Victory Star Destroyer's commander acknowledged and requested a lowering of a sector of the shield for it to get through.

The Invader plunged into the atmosphere as the shield was raised again.

Parish looked to the other four Vics, "We have lost sensors, send the telemetry to the rest of the fleet" He said.

The Victory Star Destroyers sent their sensor telemetry to the rest of the ORS fleet, but this did not apply to targeting information, but that wasn't really needed as the ORS vessels were firing at point-blank range.


Endor...



Xytro watched the holoprojector show the battle in a complete and continuously updated tactical map. Two large groups of red blips - the enemy formations - formed, with one heading toward the Ion Cannon, the other holding at the landed Ghost, which they were trying - clumsily - to set up an artillery pattern.

"Samurai Gunship Squadrons eight and four, please attack at target beta-delta-zero." Xytro ordered. He saw, almost instantly, two green blips seperate and head toward the group on the Ion Cannon. The Samurai Gunships were powerful, the predecessors of the old Republic Repulsorlift Gunships used in the Clone Wars.

"Division four, report." He said. Divison four was made up of about three-thousand clone soldiers, and one thousand Defel and Shi'ido "Rangers". The Rangers were the elite special forces of the Sovereignty, and were seleced out of the Army's Shi'ido and Defel ranks.

A distorted transmission came back through the comm system, "In position. We can see the enemy formation. Requesting permission to attack." Came the voice of the Colonel in charge of the division.

"Granted. Rangers only. Army is to set up a defensive perimeter." Xytro said.


Ion Cannon

Colonel Shant crouched, hidden in the underbrush of Endor. He was a Shi'ido and was in command of the Fourth Division. To his left, a shadow moved, but this was no ordinary shadow. This was a Defel, often called "Wraiths". Their natural state was that of a shadow, their bodies aborbing all light.

Shant signaled, his skin begining to crawl. Several hundred other Shi'ido did the same, and the Defel crapt forward.

In the ranks of the advancing 500 BDE soldiers, all marching perfectly, weapons held at the ready, they came. Suddenly, one of the soldiers was lifted bodily off his feet and slammed down to the ground, his neck broken. The Defel who had killed him moved down, doing the same to another soldier as chaos began to erupt in the enemy ranks. Dozens of BDE soldiers had their necks broken, or were knocked to the ground.

Chaos began to spread, as the soldiers looked around, confused. Suddenly, from the flanks, hundreds of large being crashed out of the forests.

Rancors.

Such as the one Luke Skywalker faced off against in his battle at Jabba's palace. These weren't real rancors, merely Shi'ido in a different shape, but they did their damage, sweeping dozens of soldiers aside like dolls.

Shant, in rancor form, signalled again, and two thousand blaster cannons in the forest near Ion Cannon spat deadly fire. Five hundred soldiers each came out of the forest in each flank, mingling with the BDE soldiers.

Then, roughly twenty-four Samurai Gunships screamed down, firing carefully aimed beams of energy.

It was a a massacre.



Xytro ignored the Ion Cannon battle as the Shi'ido flooded out of the trees, and turned to the enemy forces at the Ghost. Several thousand ORS ground soldiers crouched, hidden in the underbrush at the edge of the newly created clearing (made by the Ghost's DMBs)

"Division eight, move forward and attack." He said into the comm system. A group of blue blips suddenly moved forward, engaging the other 500 BDE soldiers near the landed Ghost, their blaster cannons opening up on the enemy.


"Ion Cannon, recharge and prepare to fire." Xytro said.




Space around Endor...




The newly arrived Victory-class Star Destroyers moved forward, but did not engage and stayed just out of range of the enemy's weapons.

Parish stared intently at the tactical map, and the damages suffered, "Defenders One through ten, move to sector zero-eight, continue fire." He ordered.

The ten Defender-class Gunships moved from their positions, and inserted themselved between the shieldless Majestic and Corona cruisers, shielding them from enemy fire as all thirteen ships (Majestic, Coronas, Defenders) returned that fire on the five Ghosts, along with the rest of the ORS fleet.

The Ghosts were suffering, visibly. Their weapons were being ripped off their hull which was begining to buckle. Turbolaser blast after turbolaser blast rocked the five ship, untill all five finally began to list, their weapons silent.

Boarding transports moved from the ORS ships to one of the Ghosts, docking tubes extending to disperse zero-g ORS troopers into the defeated ship. All BDE crew members that were encountered were either destroyed or captured.

The four other Ghosts, however, were not spared. The ORS ships moved away from the boarded Ghost, to the other four, who finally succumbed and exploded spectacularly.

The ORS ships then moved forward, opening fire on the rest of the BDE fleet.

Near BDE Second Wave:

The fighters quickly finished off the enemy ships, using their laser cannons, but another 100 were disabled(300 disabled total)

"Reload the missiles, and start strafing."

The fighters immediately reloaded their missiles, and started strafing 3 Ghouls, with 150 fighters hitting each one.

Near First BDE Wave:

The fighters had been undamaged, with only one Repear to worry about it was easy to keep out of it's DMB field.

The fighters quickly wiped out the enemy ships.

"Reload your missile tubes. I want four groups to strafe those four undamaged ships with weapons(your only 4 undamaged Ghosts), while the other group strafes one of the undamaged, weaponless ships(Banshee)."

The groups of fighters started to strafe the Banshee and the Ghosts.

Near Wave 1 of the BDE assault...
General Dawara saw that his missile tubes were loaded.

"All ships, fire missiles at your targets and continue to strafe them."

The fighters swarmed their targets, firing missiles, lasers and ion cannons.

"Sir, shields have dropped on all the targets in Wave 1, and the shields of the targets in Wave 2 are down to 13%, and falling."

"Excellent. How are our ORS friends fairing?"

"Very well, just some shield damage."

"Quite good."


Meanwhile, on an ORS Victory Star Destroyer, near Wave 2 of the BDE assault...

"I want each VSD, with the exception of Invader to target a Ghoul."

"Yes sir."

"As well, get 2 Birds of Prey to help the Victory Star Destroyers."

"Right away sir."

"Then get 2 groups of 6 Birds of Prey to finish of two shieldless Ghosts while 5 Birds of Prey and 2 Corellian Gunships get another one. I want 6 Corona Frigates along with a Corellian Gunship to finish of the final one, while the Defender Gunships continue to pour troops into the 5th. I want 1 Majestic, the Corona Frigates and the remaining Corellian Gunships to deal with the Banshee, while the remaining Majestic and the Ranger Gunships deal with a Liege."

"Yes sir."

"The Planetary Ion Cannon will then fire on the remaining Liege."

"Right away sir."

The ships did their jobs, and rocked as they launched missiles. The Planetary Ion Cannon near Wave 2 fired a shot, disabling one of the Lieges. Consequencely, the Planetary Ion Cannon near Wave 1 fire it's own barrage, hitting the Liege on that side of the planet.

Onboard the Ghost that was being captured...

ORS troops ran through the ships, mainly Rangers compromising of Shi'do and Defels, though also some normal troops. They were quickly spreading out through the hull, and had managed to capture the forward quarter of the ship, killing any one who resisted, which was everyone.

On route to Endor...
A message travelled across space towards Endor, from a GC base. The news that BDE was not an enemy had yet to reach Endor.

On the ground...
The battle continued to be fought, with ORS forces obviously winning. Suddenly the Victory Star Destroyer Invader came into view and started to target the area for a barrage of missiles. The ORS troops began to retreat, though it was a fighting retreat.

Suddenly, on all frequencies, a message came in from a combined ORS/GC safe-house.

"Stand down, I repeat, all forces stand down. Cease fire immeadietly. We wish to discuss terms of Cease-Fire with the Black Dragon forces. All forces, on both sides, are requested to cease fire immeadietly!"

The Dameun vessels ceased their point defense fire against the GC fighters, but the Fields stayed up, as part of the fleets defensive stance. A broadband message across all standard frequancies was issuied from each BDE vessel capable of transmission.

"Cease-Fire is acceptable under these terms. All ships Fill with any valued lifeform from this Moon, Those ships capable depart this system immediatly and not return. These are our terms."

The Coalition and Outer Rim Forces duly complied, carrying off all the people on Endor, plus the Ewoks (Who were confused, but it was for the best).

It was believed the reason for such a quick response was a hope that it would look good on the negotiations table when a peace-treaty deal would eventually be discussed between the factions present.

[i]By this time, Dameun troops had landed to complete compliment from every Ghost in Orbit, as well as those from other positions in system. These units systematicaly procceded to takeover the planetary command network, consisting of the shield and weapons networks. Endor had surrendered, and this was now a bounty of war.
