Irtar heard a gasp from the room next to him, and then saw his mother charge into the room. She was a shorter woman, with short brown hair and brown eyes. She also bore the weight you'd expect from a mother of four healthy children. She even seemed to be weeping slightly. After all, her son was finally home after nearly a year.

"Mom..." Irtar moaned as he tried to push out of the scene, as he heard Haldrin snickering. "We've got company... come on, don't embarass me infront of Haldrin."

Haldrin couldn't hold back the laughter and Irtar cast him a cold glance, only causing Haldrin to laugh harder. Tiana didn't pay any notice and kept her hug with Irtar until she was well and ready to let go. Until she was sure that he was really here and that her son was home. She whipped the tears from her eyes and looked up at Irtar with a smile.

"Oh just welcome home... you've gotta be sore after the flight out. Do you want to take a walk about? Or fetch some rest or something?" Tiana asked as she took a step back, trying to regain her compossure.

"Well... a walk sounds good. Haldrin told me that Dad was complaining about the sensors? May as well do some good." Irtar said, and Haldrin scratched the back of his head and put his hand on Irtar's shoulder.

"Irtar, you should be more kind about your father, I wouldn't mock him..." Haldrin said in a strangely docile tone.

Tiana was strangely quiet as they made their way out and began to walk around the farm. A couple of droids were busy humming and dealing with various business about the farm. But strangely enough, Irtar hadn't seen any other members of the family...

His mom was asking him all the small talk questions, and talking about what was going on but Irtar had to interrupt to ask.

"Uhm Mom, where's Dad and the others?" Irtar asked, and his Mom suddenly went deathly white. Something happened. Something bad. "Mom?"

Tiana sighed, and Haldrin kinda walked off. It seemed he didn't want to even get involved. Something must've gone wrong. Very wrong if even Haldrin was stepping in.

"Your father... he has heading over to Khoonda and was caught by a Dantari patrol..." Tiana said sadly, turning her back to Irtar and he heard her sniffling slightly. "The others are helping... I'm keeping track of the farm for now..."

"And you didn't tell me this when I got here!?!" Irtar asked, his voice rising. Why wouldn't she tell him about that? What kind of mother wouldn't tell you about that?

"It happened yesterday and I couldn't get ahold of you..." Tiana said, breaking into a full-out cry. Both Irtar and Haldrin walked up and tried to comfort her. "What-if-Argas..." She chocked out between sniffles.

"Mom... it'll be alright..." Irtar said, feeling guilty for snapping at her. "Haldrin, why did you guys tell me right away? What can I do to help?"

"She told me not to ruin your home-coming and to act like everything's alright. She said you'd be coming home some day soon." Haldrin said, Tiana was too lost in her tears to give any rational response. "Your other siblings are helping with patrols looking for him. If you want, you can travel with one of the other patrols."

En-Route to the Farm

Engulfed in the shadowy folds of her cloak, Dehoir moved steadily through the area to where the Jedi's Force signature was located. As she closed the distance, Dehoir masked her own signature. Her training in the dark arts made it possible for her to manipulate her aura; giving another Force sensitive being the impression that she was nothing more then a tree, or a creature that inhabited the native land.

Coming upon the figures outside of the structure caused Dehoir to crouch down in an attempt to conceal her position. She listened intently at the conversation that was being had. A slim smile creased her lips as the announcement of the Jedi's father's disappearance caused the other Force user to look upon his mother glumly.

Grating her teeth in an attempt to stifle an evil chuckle, Dehoir slunk closer to their location. Her target was the Jedi himself, but slaughtering his family and friends would assure her that he'd be too overwhelmed with grief to actually battle her. The Sith devised a plan to kill all of those present, but quietly, leaving her pray confused... and alone.

Tiana moved away from Irtar, and wiped her moist cheek with the palm of her hand. An awkward smile drew over her features as she looked into the eyes of her precious child. Raising a slightly trembling hand, Tiana touched Irtar's cheek ever so gently.

"It's so good to have you home again, son. I missed you so much..."

Sliding her hand down his cheek, Tiana placed her trembling hand on his chest as she continued.

"...we all did."

With another forced grin Tiana moved away from Irtar.

"I..I should get back to the house. Someone has to prepare your homecoming supper."

She turned to go, but stopped suddenly.

"I know things will be fine now that you're home, Irtar."

The two men watched her go, as did Dehoir. While they remained, the Sith skulked off following Tiana's route.

Within the Farmhouse

Keeping busy relaxed Tiana, but only so much as of late. Her thoughts drifted as she prepared a fitting meal for her son's return. A broad smile, and a light chuckle, caused Tiana to forget her troubles. Her memory shifted to the childhood pranks Irtar would pull on his siblings.

Her reverie was broken as she heard a woman's voice, and the hum of an ignighted Force users' weapon.

"I hope those thoughts comfort you in the hereafter."

Gasping in surprise, Tiana turned to face the voice. A woman donning a black cloak, and wielding a red hued dueling lightsaber met her astonished gaze. The older woman drew a deep breath, and raised both hands in a defensive posture.

A malicious smile played onto Dehoir's countenance as she drew back her weapon and cut down the older woman before a scream of horror could be rendered. Dehoir cocked her head to the right as she watched the decapitated corpse drop to the floor. The red-headed woman turned off her weapon and began to conceal the body in a nearby pantry. No blood was shed; therefore no unnecessary cleaning was in order.

Dehoir cast a gaze over the room once more before moving to a darkened corner to lie in wait for the two men to return to the house. They would most likely split their efforts in search of the woman, and once Haldrin was alone, Dehoir would cut him down; eliminating her last obstacle before confronting the Jedi in armed combat.

Stepping backward, Dehoir disappeared into the shadow of the kitchen's adjacent room.

Irtar and Haldrin were busy discussing after Tiana headed indoors as to where Arga could be. They were quickly narrowing down the location but such behaviour was very unlike the Dantari. They knew better than to anger the Empire and to take one of the better farmers on Dantooine... There were some caves nearby to some ruins that Irtar knew far too well.

Two of the locations were these caves, and the ruins of the old Jedi Academy. For some odd reason, Irtar felt a draw to these caves. Perhaps it was the Force at work? Either way, it was only a fifteen minutes away on a speeder, so he may as well check it out while Tiana prepared the meal.

"Alright, I'll check out this cave. I'll grab the swoop and head out there." Irtar said as he made his way towards the garage. "Do you have a blaster I can borrow?"

"You can't go there alone Irtar! Your father wouldn't want you getting captured to." Haldrin said as he tried to stop Irtar by putting his hand on his shoulder, but Irtar shrugged it off. Haldrin sighed, knowing Irtar had made up his mind. Haldrin made his way over to his own speeder and grabbed his blaster rifle, tossing it over to Irtar.

"This is a modified T-33 Blaster Rifle Irtar. This thing is a heavy shot, you need to hold it steady. It's got some nice stopping power. I'm not supposed to be doing this... but I've got this odd sense you'll be alright in your search. I'll have a patrol of Troopers meet up with you to help you in the search." Haldrin said as he grabbed his comm. Irtar looked at the rifle awe-like. This thing was like Haldrin's brother and he never let anyone use it. Irtar would have to be careful.

"Thanks Haldrin... tell Mom I'll be back soon." Irtar said as he jumped into the speeder and made his way off, while Haldrin made his way inside to tell Tiana that Irtar was just off for a bit to check in with Indarin.

Shortly after leaving, Irtar felt that something was... wrong. A disturbance in the Force. Had something happened to his Dad? Irtar sped up towards the cave. What if something happened and his Dad was... was... he couldn't even think of it. Irtar just had to deal with the trouble when the time came.

Within a short amount of time, Irtar was before this cave. There was a cold presence here that Irtar could feel. A dark ripple of the past that was so evident even Irtar could feel it. The Padawan picked up the rifle and grabbed his training saber and his hilt from his bag he still had with him. He didn't really know why, but some nagging feeling in his brain told him to bring them.

Irtar took a step towards the door then something jumped out at him. It felt so cold... and it was wreathed in shadow. Irtar was in shock as he jumped backwards and fell against the speeder. Irtar expected to be struck down but then suddenly it felt like normal. Irtar looked up, expecting to see whatever it is awaiting to strike him down but there was nothing.

"What was that?" Irtar asked himself as he stood up, rubbing his head. He felt all tingly like when the Force ran through him. Something was... off about this place. Irtar got back up and regained his compossure, stepping towards the cave and wondering what other perils may be in this cave.

Within the Farmhouse

Within the all consuming shadows Dehoir waited patiently for the arrival of her intended pray. She closed her brilliant green eyes as she attempted to feel his Force signature. Her attempt was met with a disturbing realization that Irtar was no longer at the farm. The corner of her lips curled in an angered sneer as her eyes shot open. Rising from her crouched position, Dehoir advanced to the back door.

With her slender fingers upon the door handle, she began to sense the presence of the other man; Haldrin. A wicked smile drew over her features as her mind filled with the many ways she could dispose of this one last obstacle.

She swiftly exited the building and made her way to a location near Haldrin. Dehoir’s eyes narrowed in an attempt to make out the man's distinguishable characteristics. She began berating herself as the man's identity finally was recognized.

"Damn! An Imperial soldier."

She slunk back to a more secluded location as she contemplated her next maneuver. She'd have to get him out of the way before she moved on to the Jedi.

Licking her lips, Dehoir began to change her position in a choreographed fashion. Her movements were fluid and surefooted. The final steps brought her directly behind Haldrin, and with her lightsaber in hand, she struck the man on the back of the head with its heavy hilt.

Haldrin's body feel unceremoniously to the ground, and Dehoir quickly bound, and hid him.

Sensing the young Jedi once again, this time some distance away, Dehoir made her way to an available speeder.

~ The Caves ~

Fifteen minutes of traveling brought the Sith to a set of caves just beyond the farm’s perimeter. Dehoir dismounted her speeder, and raised the hood of her black cloak over her head; once again engulfing her features behind the security of the darkened folds. She advanced forward toward the unmistakable sensation of the other Force user.

Irtar seemed to feel something within the cave, as did she. Keeping a safe distance, Dehoir watched as the Padawan tried desperately to compose himself after an unseen attack. Masking her Force signature, Dehoir moved closer, but remained in the darkness. She would strike him down when they were within the cave...more room was needed in order for a surgical strike to be had. Dehoir would simply bide her time….patience was in order.

A devilish grin washed over her features as her mind prepared for the up and coming slaughter.

Irtar kept the blaster at the ready as he made his way into the cave. Irtar quickly noticed that caves are dark and he forgot a light. 'Dammit!' Irtar thought 'Damn me and my forgetfulness!'

Irtar looked around for a lightsourec when he dropped the blaster and something clicked. Irtar though something broke, when all of a sudden he was blinded when the built-in light turned on. Irtar groand was he looked away and picked up the blaster again. 'Why can't they put labels on these damn things!?!' Irtar thought as he picked up the blaster and made his way down the cave.

There were the sounds of clicking movements down the cave and Irtar felt something strange. Like it was drawing him deeper in. Like a moth to the flame. But still, Irtar couldn't shake off this feeling that someone was watching him... or something. Irtar took a look about and though he saw something move in the shadows. Irtar looked for a moment and couldn't see anything, so he made his way deeper towards whatever was drawing him. Maybe that's where his father was.

Irtar walked cautiously when he began to see an eerie glow coming from somewhere ahead. Irtar moved cautiously, in fear that it were some lights from the Dantari that were hold his father when instead he came into a cave that held a variety of crystals on the wall. Irtar recognized them... lightsaber crystals.

The walls seemed to reverberate the Force. Every follicle on Irtar's body seemed to be on end with the sensations of the Force. It felt so... good. Irtar shuddered slightly from it all and made his way towards these crystals. So many different shades were in the room. Red, blue, green, yellow... The one that drew Irtar was a blue formation that was close to him. After all, blue was his favourite colour.

Irtar had studdied some of the other crystals he'd seen and looked for one that seemed suitable. Irtar found one that seemed to match what he needed, though there seemed to be others he could work in to help refine the beam even further to get an even better beam. Though it would take some work of course to re-align th-THUD.

Irtar heard the sound from behind him and looked behind him and was nearly in terror. It was a Kinrath. Where did it come from? It was then Irtar looked up and saw the eggs and the moving beasts. He was in a Kinrath nest! Irtar pointed the blaster at him and opened up.

Irtar had never used a blaster before, and his shots were EXTREMELY inaccurate. But the beauty of this blaster is that as long as Irtar held the trigger, there would be blaster shots firing. Irtar just held down and fired in all directions, his eyes closed. The sounds of screeches and shattering crystal filled his ears for about twenty seconds until the blaster overheated.

Irtar opened his eyes and looked about the room. Most of the Kinrath were dead, and a number of the crystal formations were shattered. Irtar took a deep breath. Irtar just grabbed the handful of crystals he had, and went to leave the cavern.

~ The Caves ~

Silently skulking along the perimeter of the cave, Dehoir moved to gain a better view of Irtar, and his activities. As she moved, the shadows seemed to swallow her form into its inky depths. Her target attempted to look around the ancient caverns, but began berating himself when he realized he'd forgotten a light. A slight smirk drew over her soft features.

"Damned idiot." She whispered.

A light caught her attention as she shook her head from side to side. The young man had dropped his weapon, and unwittingly turned on its light source. Scoffing at the Jedi's luck, Dehoir slunk back against the cool rocky surface.

Kaleidoscopes of color danced over the walls, engulfing the chamber in a rainbow of brilliance. The glistening dance attracted the Sith's emerald eyes, and as Dehoir watched the shapes move across walls and ceiling, Irtar located an azure crystal that he plucked from its perch.

The skin around her eyes tightened as she began to sense another presence through the Force. A Kinrath. Stifling a surprised gasp, Dehoir pressed her body closer to the wall. The Jedi was not so lucky. The beast moved in closer, and before she knew it, the lightsider had opened fire on the creature, and anything else within the cave.

Uncontrolled fire spewed forth from the barrel of the weapon as Irtar squeezed the trigger. His eyes closed, the ordinance rained in all directions. One such shot blew dangerously close to Dehoir's head. Ducking seconds before the shot, Dehoir rolled out of the way, landing in a crouching position.

"Moron." Her voice grated as she concealed herself on the opposite side of the cave. If she attacked now, the Jedi would simply close his eyes and open fire on her. No, she'd have to take him from behind. Instead of a duel she'd simply slit his throat and be done with it.

Her eyes gleamed as she waited for Irtar to pass her position.

Irtar was playing with the crystals in his hand with a slight smile of success. After all, this was one of the last thing he had to do before being allowed to advance further as a Jedi. Well, first he had to prove himself in battle which Irtar was very leery about. After all, he wasn't the mighty combatant like most of his brothern. He was just a simple man in Jedi clothing yet in his mind.

As he was about to step past a rock formation, he say the flash of something red. Irtar looked about trying to see what it was, returning the cystal to his pocket and aiming his blaster about trying to see what's there.

"Is anybody there?" Irtar asked as he began to make his way carefully towards the cavern exit. He would move towards the door, flicking the blaster in ever which-way to try and reveal whatever may be lurking in the shadows.

~ The Caves ~

The scant glow of light that made it into the cave shone dimming off of the Sith's crimson hair, creating a slight movement that caught the young Jedi's attention.

"Is anybody there?"

Dehoir gritted her teeth and chided herself for being careless. Her training taught her to be invisible until she wished to be seen. Resided to her mistake, the Sith silently stood and glided into the week light. Billows of soot wafted into the air as her quiet footfalls disturbed the ground.

Irtar waived the blaster back and forth as he scanned his immediate surroundings. Moving backwards toward the exit to the caves, he nearly came into contact with Dehoir.

The Jedi's back came into contact with the hilt of the Sith's saber causing him stop in his tracks. Keeping her weapon off, Dehoir moved in close to the side of the Jedi's head. A wicked smile creased the corner of her lips as her hot breath caused the hair on Irtar's neck to stand on end. Keeping her voice low, she addressed him.

"Don't worry; I'll make your death quick and painless."

Her eyes roamed over his form, and once she had taken him in completely, Dehoir moved in even closer to Irtar's ear. Smiling seductively, she continued once more.

"I am, however, up for hearing you beg. It sometimes helps."

Her features softened as she waited for a response.

((Yeah, I talked to Dehoir and I got permission to write a proper end to this under what we had decided to do in the first place. So... ta da!))

Irtar was frozen like he was in a block of carbonite when he felt the hilt against his back. Irtar was half-expecting the sound of a hiss and a short, hot feeling in his chest. But it never came, instead he saw a face next to his. A face that, if not for the situation, would seem beautiful. Lined with vibrant red hair, deep eyes, and ruby lips. From what he could see anyways... but there was this aura about her. It was said by his masters that when there was something of the darkside nearby, it would feel chill.

And her words spread that chill to his bones.

"Don't worry; I'll make your death quick and painless."

"I am, however, up for hearing you beg. It sometimes helps."

Irtar's mouth was dry, his skin clamy, and his body cold. He felt helpless. He tried to mumble out something by nothing escaped his lips. He didn't want to die. Really didn't want to! He had... uhm... things to do! Places to go! A life to live. In a flash, Irtar's life went by. The faces fo friends and family.... Would he make them suffer with his death? No! He couldn't do that to them! Irtar had to do something. But what?

Irtar kinda hunched over and raised his hands above his head, lightsaber in his right hand, showing the classic symbol of submission. He needed to do this quickly and absolutely could NOT screw up or he'd be dead.

"I-I'm sure you're a-a reasonable person...." Irtar began, sounding as if he was to start pleaing for his life. "I-I'm sure t-there's better stuff you can be doing tha-than killing me. Like... uhm... GRAGH!"

Quickly, Irtar's blade flashed to life as he swung backwards, turning on his heel to his left while falling forward. His saber met with Dehoir's as she ignited hers. Their blades met with a louding crackling sound as the padawan feel upon his back. His mysterious assailant was upon him quickly, her red blade flashing through the air giving Irtar barely enough time to respond. Irtar tried to knock Dehoir's towards the right while he rolled to the left in an effort to get off the ground and on his feet.

Irtar's mind was racing with the lessons that Master Leia taught him. She only really had taught him the basics but piecing together from action flicks he saw on the Holonet (though he knew there were a lot of stunts he couldn't do without a double) and from duels he had seen at the Academy, he had his head somewhat around what he might be able to do. Irtar's mind was pacing with ideas while he came out of his roll, he didn't notice that Dehoir was already right there.

Irtar brought himself out of his stupor just in time to parry her blade and get pushed against one of the stalagmites in the cave. Irtar grunted in pain as he felt numerious sharp pains in his back. It had to be the crystals there.... You never realize how sharp they are until you've got your back pressed up against them.

Dehoir gazed intently upon Irtar, her face still cold as she held him there while Irtar's was twisted between pain and fear. He had to break this dead lock... Irtar pushed his blade as strongly as he could against Dehoir and took the risk of loosing his footing to bring left foot in a sweep beneath her. The Sith quickly leveled herself from it, only having her footing weakened while Irtar took the opportunity to back off and brought his saber at the ready for her next assault.

"You know... we could just part ways you know? Let by gones be by gones?" Irtar asked hopefully, not wanting to get anymore hurt than he is today.

"Hrm. You really are pathetic." Was his assailiant's only response as she grunted and gave into Irtar once more with a fierce assault.

She swung at him widely and fiercely. Her assault was extremely aggressive and all Irtar could do is throw off every blow as well as he could but she was quickly gaining ground. She had obviously gotten much better saber training than Irtar's hodge-podge training. Each swing brought her closer to breaking through his defenses and though Irtar tried to not let on, the growing smile on Dehoir's face was telling him she knew all to well.

One thing was for certain... this duel was keeping him on his toes. Once more Irtar had to make a press to avoid the crimson saber of his foe. Irtar searched for something and his mind went back to one of the first lessons that Leia had taught him. How to move objects with the force... It was worth a shot! Irtar tried to make his mind go off and focus on the shards left over from Irtar's attempt to take out the beasts in the cave.

Fortunately for Irtar, the moment Irtar's lightsaber was knocked aside and Dehoir was given a clear shot, the shards Irtar were focusing on made their way into her back. And with a mighty screech, Dehoir reacted to the pain in her back and Irtar jumped away from her wide swing. He had to end this duel. And ten Irtar was reminded of a geological lesson... thanks to the Clone Wars, the cave networks were unstable.

Haldrin's blaster rifle was right there... he had to try it. If he screwed up, well, he would be dead either way if he stayed in this conflict. When Dehoir recovered and marched towards Irtar obviously angered at his counter-offensive, he grabbed the blaster and she prepared for him to take more shots. And he fired right past her head and she smirked.

"You missed."

"That's what you think." Irtar replied, pointing to the ceiling of the cave that had begun to shudder. Irtar saw a small opening near by and made his way. The last he saw of Dehoir, was her moving towards the exit which was quickly hidden by the falling rubble. As everything faded to darkness....

-------------------------------------------------------------

How long had it been? He'd lost track. Irtar felt very... odd. Like he was floating in a vast nothingness. Was he dead? Was this what it's like to be one with the Force? It wasn't quite like anything he'd felt before. This place was... cold...

That's when Irtar saw it.

Wreathed in shadow, the figure of his mother with her head in her hands. Her face was twisted in agony and sadness. Irtar was frozen as he saw this image pass by him and vanish into the darkness. He wanted to reach out but... he couldn't do anything. He couldn't help but just watch her float by....

Then he suddenly felt a powerful tugging sensation and the darkness gave way to a great light.

--------------------------------------------------------------

Haldrin had awoken to a searing sensation. His head... What had hit him? He went to sit up and felt a sturdy hand on his shoulder and looked up to see a man in the grey officer's unifrom of the Empire. It seemed they had placed him on the couch of the Mal'Gro farm. The officer smiled and patted him on the shoulder.

"Hold up Lieutenant. You took a nasty hit there." The other officer said calmly. "Don't worry, the medics say you'll be alright. Not what I can say for the woman though..."

"Commander Dupor?" Haldrin asked, as his hand went to his head. "Argh... what happened?"

"It seems that someone jumped and attacked you and... Tiana Mal'Gro is her name according to records." Commander Dupor said as he looked at a data pad he held in his other hand. At that Haldrin threw off the hand and stood. The Imperial nearly fell over but steadied himself on the wall and cast a stern gaze at the commander.

"What's happened to her?"

"It seems that someone assaulted her with some sort of laser cuter. Most signs point to it being a lightsaber that a Jedi would use." Dupor said as he walked towards Haldrin and handed him the datapad. "I'm sorry but she was killed immediately. If it's any consolation the medics said it was painless..."

Haldrin was too shocked for words for the first couple of moments. He had known the Mal'Gros for years. How was this even possible? Why would a Jedi come here? And why this family? What harm had they done? Then suddenly Haldrin's face stiffened as he remembered about Irtar.

"Commander, we need to send a patrol to the Kinrath Caves."

"What? Why?"

"Her son was heading there shortly before I was jumped."

-----------------------------------------------------------

Irtar blinked and looked away from the bright light glaring in his eyes. He grunted as he tried to look away from it. After a couple of moments, Irtar's eyes began to adjust to the light and he looked about. He was in his room at home. He tried to sit up but was met with more than a couple of points of sharp pain.

Irtar groaned slightly and in a couple of moments, Haldrin came into the room and gave him the darkest glare Irtar had ever seen. Irtar was so confussed on what was meant by that glare it took Irtar a second to respond as Haldrin walked up to the bed.

"Uhm... what's wrong?" Irtar asked Haldrin as he took a seat next to the bed in a chair that was taken from Irtar's desk and put there.

"Why did you do it?" Haldrin replied in a cold tone.

"Do what? Collapse the cave? Well, it's a long story... I didn't really know it was important or anything..." Irtar began to stammer out, thinking that perhaps it might have been important to the Empire. At which point Haldrin reached within his jacket and slammed Irtar's lightsaber next to him.

"Kill your mother!" Haldrin shouted angrily as he took hold of Irtar by the cuff of his robes.

Irtar was completely in shock and the fact didn't register to him that his mother was really dead. He just looked at Haldrin with a perplexed look. "Kill my mother!?! Why in the name of the Force would I do something like that!?!" Irtar demanded of Haldrin.

"She was killed by a lightsaber. And you're the only one found with it! I had to hide it and claim I was taking leave just to get you to myself while your brothers and sisters look for your father. And trust me, I will turn you over to them.... They deserve to have at you before any Imperial interagators!" Haldrin said hotly, and that's when it dawned on Irtar.

"You mean... my mother's dead?"

"Killed by you, yes."

"But I-I didn't... I couldn't.... I was heading towards the Kinrath caves. I-I-I... Her."

"What?"

"That Dark Jedi..."

And with that, Irtar informed Haldrin of what had happened. He told him of his training under Master Organa-Solo and Vodo Baas. He told him of his journey and his reason for returning. He told him of his facing with the woman with red hair. He told him of how he collaped the cave in an attempt to stop the fight and save himself from death.

"Hrm... you tell a good tale..." Halrdin says, stroking his chin. "But I don't know if I can trust you. There's really no evidence you can present me about this."

"EVIDENCE!?! You think I would kill my mother!?! With all the years you've known me and you suspect me of doing something so... dispicable!?!" Irtar shouted at Haldrin. If he could move his arms, he'd have taken him by the scruff he was so angy at this point. The very thought that he still suspected him of these things. He would think that after all these years of knowing him, that Haldrin would be able to show faith in him?

But eventually, after a couple of hours, and a couple of requests of evidence to the investigation, Haldrin began to come around to Irtar's side. Especially after the tracker on the speeder showed Irtar had kept course with the cave the whole time. After putting both feet firmly in his mouth, Haldrin began to comfort and seek respite from Irtar for his action and for the death of his mother.

Within a couple of days, Irtar's father was finally rescued by the patrol lead by Indarin. When Argas found out what had happened, added to the stress from his kidnapping experience, Argas became inconsolable. Irtar was forced to lay in recovery for a couple of weeks, worried of what the future for himself and his family would be....

THE END!
