OOC: No I don't think this belongs in the News and Propaganda Forum
Uncovered documents found from Ossus after a Jedi-Rogue Imperial search there. These date to be approximately four thousand years old, and entail crucial events preluding the Sith War. It is believed PHW is the abbreviation for post-hyperspace war, one of the most tragic and dangerous times in the history of the Republic before the Sith War.

AFter Exar Kun's visit our numbers have fallen dramatically, from well over two thousand to a mere hundred. The handsome young man has a way with words that seems to inspire those around him. He came and made promises of awe inspiring power to our younger Jedi ranks, and promised the ultimate unison with the Force to our more powerful Knights and Masters. I suppose I fall somewhere in between the greatest and lowliest, fore I found no interest in his propaganda. There is something about the way he felt around me that made me neglect the idea. Could it be the "Dark Side" I'd heard so much about? When Exar Kun had come, he'd said:
So many abandoned us for these strange ideals, it made me question what we are doing, is our constant devotion to thsi section of the Force in vain? This drove me to checking my history books for further assurance to our cause, for just some shred of hope for the Jedi. With thus I found something quiet interesting, known as the Great Hyperspace War. Of course I'd herad of it, and knew a thing or two, but I needed a more extensive research of the conflict.
The Sith of the war had been ferocious and relentless, murdering millions for power...power. Then I compared this to recorded emotions of Jedi in the presence of the Dark Side, then compared all of these factors to Exar Kun, I realized there was something amiss here. My faith in the Jedi ways was renewed.
I did further research in the way of the Sith, having reason to believe maybe Exar kun was not as Jedi as he'd claimed. I found records in the great library of Ossus of Naga Sadow and was intrigued by his methods of luring so many under his gentle palm, then clenching into a fist and crushing them without warning. Gav and Jori Daragon were a perfect example of this, terating themlike a king and queen, saving them from Sith execution, and returning Jori home to the Republic. In hindsight it was obviously a trap, but at the time....he seemed like a saint among men.
It seems to me that Exar Kun is doing the same thing now with thse apprentices and Masters alike. What is he up to? Is he so afraid that if the Jedi Council were to catch on he would lose any "power" he had? Why not present these teachings to the grand masters themselves? What is Exar Kun hiding?
These questions plagued my mind, and so I sent my padawan to Ossus while I was off to the council on Soruscant. I spoke my case to the great Jedi Msater, and they assured me that there was nothing to worry about...that everything was under control. I will not believe them, I have no reason to. Nevertheless, I will not succumb to fear. I will no tturn to this mysterious Dark Side.

Those of you who have pride in yourself, and the Force,
come with me, to my fortress beyond Republic control, where
the Force is strong, and not distraught with tyrannical militaristic
contraversy. Here they are so wrapped up in political delegation
that they have forgotten that the Jedi are not here for the Republic,
we are here for the Force. To abandon the Force for them is to
abandon who we are. We are sevants to the Force...not the
Republic. I will show you the Force, I will show you glory. I will
show you power.
