Deak ran across the alley and spotted the main door to a museum. Just then he had recived a message for help. He checked his map for the coordinents and found that the museum was where it had come from. He took his E-11 blaster from his back and stepped inside the museum. He immedietly saw 25 trooper shooting into a main chamber by a statue. He aimed his E-11 blaster and shot 4 troopers before 5 others started shooting at him. Deak ran for a statue and hid behind it. He kept firing at the troopers before even more stormtroopers came to shoot. Unfortunatlly for him he ran out of charge on his blaster and whipped out his two DH-17 blasters.

"Chew on this!" he said to the troopers.

Deak came out from the statue and blasted all of the remaining troopers. He then saw that one Stromtrooper escaped, the Stromtrooper looked like he was a captain, or a commander. After he killed the last one he took some charges from the stormtroopers and then stopped, he wondered who had gave that message for help. Deak walked into the room where three troopers with blood on their armor. One of them even had his helmet crushed. He hoped that whatever did this to the troopers was on his side. Deak turned his head to the side and saw a pedestal of gold. Then, he turned around and saw a Gen'Dai by the door.

"Do you need help?"said Deak.

He gave no reply but did point to his chest. Deak got the message and threw him a medpack and ran out of the museum. He then turned and saw a massive amount of Stromtroopers coming through the city. Deak looked up and saw a couple of ships overhead Imperial and non-Imperial. He ran to a nearby buliding and kicked the door open to find four Sakath. The father ran towards Deak and Deak stopped the Sakath from hitting him.

"Easy there, I mean no harm."

"Sssssorry we had to come in here to hid from Sssstormtrooperssss."

"Alright."said Deak.

Deak realizing that he probably couldn't come in ran to another building. The door was open and standing there was two troopers. Deak took out his vibroblade and threw it at one Stromtrooper. The vibroblade pummled into the trooper and blood came out. The other turned and started shooting at Deak but Deak was quicker and turned outside the door for cover. He quickly came into the room and shot the trooper with his blaster. He had some cover in the building. He walked over to the trooper with the vibroblade in him and Deak took it out and cleaned off the blade. A trooper then came in and shot Deak. The pain was overwhelming but he managed to shoot the trooper. He had wondered if the Sakath he met had medpacks. The door was wide open so Deak limped out of the house and into the one where the Sakath were. Deak pushed open the door and saw that the Sakath were dead. Great. thought to himself. He went to some kind of drawers and found some type of medical kit. He put some guaze pad and wrapped tape around where the wound was. It was a good thing that the soldier shot him in the arm. He found a chair and sat in it."Well,"he thought"That was fun."

Commander Sampson came sprinting round the corner of a half demolished building just in time to see an alien, different to the Sakathians, rush inside what his scanners told him was a museum. Sweat poured off his head, mingling with blood on his left cheek from a cut he had attained. Lasers continued to fly madly around. Smashing into buildings where they tore at the concrete. Hitting glass that shattered under their force. Striking troopers in their chests and abdomens. All other the city, all out brawls had erupted as Sakathians desperatley fought for their lives and their city.

"This is Commander Sampson I am requesting immediate back up at point one four five. I've found the wretched scum that may be the only real challenge on this planet. Get yourselves here now!"

A minute or so later, thirty Stormtroopers rushed through a blackened alley and sped to the commanders side. Some of them appeared to barely standing. Most had harmour either blasted or ripped away in severe areas. Copious amounts of blood poored from various wounds, staining the white armour. They were damaged, but would have to do.

"The hunter has gone inside that large building there. Twenty of you will go in and attempt to flush him out. Should you have failed to do so with in fifteen minutes myself and the remaining troopers will reinforce you. You ten with me. The rest of you proceed to the building. Move out!" The commander steeled his voice as he spoke. Each of these men would know that if they failed to complete their orders they would be dead no matter what.

As his men stormed the building, Commander Sampson and his remaining troops found suitable cover behind a half blown out wall where they waited for the hunter. The given time had nearly elapsed when Sampson saw him. With all the battles raging around him, he hadn't been paying attention to looks of the alines. But the on crossing the road ahead had caught his attention. Surely it couldnt be the bouny hunter. He himself had witnessed the alien enter the building. It would be impossible for it to be him. It was of the same species though, that was for sure. As the alien ran into the museum, Sampson retook his cover and waited. There was litle he could do now, but by Vader he had better get some anwsers soon.

Vash peeked out momentarily to check the troopers. They were all stationed with weapons ready, but none were advancing. Did they think that someone else was in the room? If they did, he might be able to escape. Or he could try and fight them. But if they were waiting for reinforcements...

Lasers shot past his head and he tucked back into his corner. He whipped up hos communicator and screamed into it again. For help, for cover, for anything. He pulled his head back again and waited. If no one came soon, he would be dead. He considered trying to charge his way through the lines, but the chances of him being caught, even if he did get through, were substantial. But whatever he did, he would have do it fast.

Vash heard several troopers scream, and the tide of lasers ebbed. He peeked his head out and saw a volley of lasers soaring into the hallways, blasting good sized holes in the troopers. Whoever it was had given Vash the distraction he need. He pulled out his pistols and threw himself into the next room. Only a few troopers remained. Vash took care of them quickly and holstered his pistol.

A bounty hunter, by the looks of his armor Mandalorian, walked into the room, duel wielding two pistols. He Paced towards Vash and nodded his head slightly. Vash returned with a low bow.

"Do you need help?" The bounty hunter asked. Vash tilted his head down to the aping wound in his chest. It was healing itself, but a medpac would quicken the process. The bounty hunter threw him a medpac, before sprinting out the door. Vash hadnt even known his name, but he owed his life to him.

Vash walked back into the room as he jabbed the medical syringe near the hole in his chest. Strands of sinewy muscles stretched out to connect and remake the hole in Vash. He smiled at the warm feeling it gave him. He picked up the hammer he had found and swung it in a quick arc. He was about to sling it on his shoulder when something stopped him...

A missile streamed through the hallways, impacting into the gold-lined pedestal, erupting into flames. Vash dove to the ground before tucking himself into a roll. He jumped to his feet and moved to the doors. Several more trooper were lined up outside the door to the museum. The other bounty hunter must have just missed them.

Behind the bulk of them, out in the courtyard, was the commander he'd seen earlier. His original plan was to get to the shield generator and protect it, but taking out the commander may fare much better.

Vash slammed shut the massive doors, and pushed down the statue he had used for cover earlier. That should hold them for at least a minute. Vash opened his pack and removed several plasma grenades. He placed them ina pile a few inches in in front of the door. They didnt have timers on them, but his thermal detonater did. He set the timer to give his enough time to escape, and set it atop the pile of grenades. Now to find a way out. The only door into the room was the one he had just trapped, and there were no windows. But that didnt mean he was trapped.

He moved over to a far and rapped his loudly with his fist. It was a thick wall, but it led to the outside. Vash could hear lasers pound on the massive door as he put his ear to the wall. He would have to get out fast. He pulled the hammer off his back and flicked the switch. He immidiatly felt ir pull at his energy. He reard the hammer back and slammed it into the wall. The currents of electricity arced into the wall, making a small crack, but nothing fatal. He continued crushing the wall, as piece by piece it collapsed. Finally, there was a hole big enough to climb through. He turned back and looked at at the thermal detonater. Only seconds left. As he dived through the wall, he heard the doors crack open. He could see the troppers pouring in. He jumped up into a s print, hammer still in hand. Behind him, the building erupted in a blaze of plasma and sparks. The back of the building crumbled under its own heat, and several sections of the front did also. Hopefully that has decimated most of the troopers in the area. He didnt figure the commander would be leading the charge, suspecting a trap, which meant he was probably still alive. Vash came to a halt and changed direction.

All that was left now was the commander.

"All right then." said Panacka, looking up from his screen "We've got our target! I want that Star Destroyer disabled as fast as possible - but try not to destroy it! Let's see if we can learn just what it's captain can teach us about the situation here."

"Sir, I'm getting reports of combat on the ground." said the scanning officer "There's tonnes of haphazard communications filling the air, even the Imperials are using a pretty old code - the defenders won't last much longer, but they seen to owe loyalty to one 'Grand Admiral' - on the star destroyer."

"No time for that now, keep your focus on the space battle ahead of us - and for Gods sake, don't blow up the Star Destroyer!"

The Quadratic and it's two Longsword escorts raced towards the Star Destroyer at startling and unheard-of speeds, the Kris fighters in tow. As the warships came into firing range they suddenly loosed a single barrage of strange projectiles before angling back downards to swoop below their enemy. Six bolts of matter launched at incredible speeds and under phenonminal pressure, crashed into the shields of the Star Destroyer and shattered it's protective energy coating.

In the wake of the cruisers, the Kris fighters came - lead by Isip and the Knights. "Ok, boys and girls" he said over the comm "I want a clean sweep. Stay in a loose formation and break to chase off any intruding ties, but keep your focus on that Star Destroyer - and Ion only, we don't want to reduce it to rubble we want to capture it."

With a few controlled bursts, he downed a few straggling ties that had turned to block the Coalition squadrons, and like a hammer the Kris fell upon their target, peppering it with Ion before zipping away to regroup for another strike.

Panacka watched all of this play out on his monitors. "Keep vigile, they may be up to something - this has been too easy, so far."

On the bridge of his Star Destroyer, Grand Admiral Cas watched as the three enemy ships and their squadrons of fighters tore through each of his defenses. They were strange ships. Faster than anything he had seen in his past. Their technology was like nothing he had ever seen before. But then again he still had some surprises up his sleave.

"Major Sheman, have your men made any progress in uncovering details on these ships?" Though it was a question, the Grand Admiral spoke it with a tone that suggested it was an order to work harder.

"Very little, Sir. What information we have recovered only serves to suggest that they have been built long after we left knownspace. Their engines appear to be bolstered by technology we haven't yet gripped. If I might make a suggestion Admiral?" The majors reply was cautious. Fear coursed through his body.

"Speak Major. I have no use on my ship for commanders who do not voice their opinions. Whether I like what they have to say or not."

"I belive we should leave this battle my lord. Their technology is far to great for our forces to fight against. There is no way we can be sure of victory. I think we would be better off if we regrouped and gained information on these ships before we further any attack strategies."

"You would have us flee and lick our wounds? I think not Major. They may have unfamilliar technology but so de we," the Grand Admiral turned to a group of men sat at hectically bleeping consoles, "reinforce our shields with that of the Seshians. It should decrease the effect of their attacks by more than fifty percent. Then prepare the digital scrambler for its test run. I think that should considerely reduce the odds. Don't you agree Major?"

"But Admiral there is no poss...." The Admiral looked away from the Major to where his stormtrooper guard stood.

"Kill him!"

The trooper opened fire before the Major even had a chance to register what was happening. His body slumped to the floor in a heap of tattered remains. The Grand Admiral looked at the corpse before him.

"I also have no need for people who cannot see when we are close to victory." He said as much to reinforce his idea as to taunt the dead body.

Turning back to the bridge viewscreen Cas noticed a greenish hue intergrate with the blue of his shields.

"Admiral, sensors are coming in from the shields. We're back up to ninty percent and holding far greater than before." One of the ensigns in the crewpit spoke up.

"Very good. Have we had any word on the Digital scrambler?"

"Yes Admiral. Tech says they should be able to deploy it in around three minutes. They're also requesting a staging target."

"Tell them to aim for the leading vessel. And if they can, to fire when there as many as possible combat fighters in the target range. They may commence at will."

Cas turned and let his gaze drift across the battle raging around him. The enemy ships were truly amazing. They outsped his own fighters at speeds belived to be available only to droids. Infront of him he noticed a faint fog growing at the front of his powerful vessel. The digital scrambler was about to fire at long last. Months of preperation and it was finally here, on this battlefield that they would learn just how well this revered machine would work. The fog began to gather into a wide beam that suddenelly shot forwards. Passing straight through the shields of its creators it tore into three Kris fighters and two Ties. All it left behind of them was floating debris. Finally, having smashed through many fighters from both sides it smacked into the shields of the leading enemy ship and sent ripples all around it.

"Report Ensign." Cas all but shouted.

"The blast destroyed a total of ninteen fighters. Whose side they were on is still unknown. With regards to the Capital ship it seems the blast took out twenty two percent of their shields and may have rendered their Ion cannons useless sir. How ever we've hit a snag. It appears the mass amount of energy used has short circuited over half the main components. There's simply no way it will be up and running again in this battle."

"The important thing is that it worked ensign. You may return to your battle duties."

The Grand Admiral returned his view to ships ahead and thought to himself, Your move!

OCC Note: As I haven't been rp'ing for that long any criticism or thoughts on ways to improve would be greatly appreciated

Sampsons head snapped up as the second of the bounty hunters to enter the museum came tearing out. He sprinted down the street and into an alley.

"You two. Follow that hunter and report his movements to me. I want to know where he goes and who he comes into contact with."

The two Stormtroopers who Sampson had assigned stood up and set off after the scum who dared attack Imperial troops. Turning to one of the remaining troopers he bgan to accept that the given time for the ones inside the museum had already expired.

"Clearly something has happened to squad one. Break comm silence and see if you get a reply."

The trooper pulled out his comink and immediatley began uttering emergency requests for a response. All that came back was static.

"No response Sir!" The trooper shouted over the continuing shouts, screams and cries of the battle.

Commander Sampson was just about to order his men inside when a second sight caught his attention. The alien he had originally been attempting to kill had very briefly stuck his head outof the main doors before slamming them shut.

"Go go go!"He shouted to his men, "get that door down now. Don't waste time attempting to capture him. I want his corpse at my feet within fifteen minutes!"

The troops did not need to be told twice. Dashing across the street they began to fire heavy bolts into the tall wooden doors. Sampson remained where he was. There was no doubt in his mind that the alien had seen him aswell, and if he had then chances were a trap laid on the other side of the door. He did not intend to walk into it.

Across the litered and rubble street, the Stormtroopers finally broke down the door. As they ran through a sudden bright and fiery flash temporaraly blinded Sampson. When his vision returned the eight Stormtroopers who had rushed the building lay scattered just infront and inside of it's opening. Their armour torn to shreds, their bodys little more than burnt flesh and muscle.

Enough was enough Sampson decided. Running through the streets, he grabbed the only four spare troopers he could find. Taking one last look at the battle around he sprinted off for the second shield generator. This was sure to be where the Bounty Hunter would go next. And when he arrived, he would have a pleasant surprise awaiting him.

Vash used his arm as a lever and spun around the corner. He sprinted down the road, not daring to turn his head to see if he was being followed. If he was, his only hope was to outrun them.

He had seen the commander bolt off away from the museum in the direction of the shield generator. It was likely that Vash was running into a trap, but he couldn't chance waiting for reinforcements, or a status report on the shield. If they went down, millions of lives might be lost. But more importantly, he might not get paid.

The generator was directly outside the the inner walls of the city. Vash hadn't seen the schematics, but from the look it was under the walls to the inner citadel. That would provide enough protection from airborne attacks, which was good since a few of the Tie Bombers had returned from space, but it was particularly vulnerable to infiltration by a strike team.

The generator was alone in a large underground warehouse. There were generally no guards near it, since there would be no need to attack the inner shield without the outer being destroyed first. But there were two sentry guns surrounding it. If those were taken out, it would only take a few blaster shots to render the generator useless. The shield had enough reserve energy to run for about two minutes after the generator was knocked out, but after that the city was toast.

Vash brought up his wrist as he sprinted down the alleys. He shakeingly clicked a few buttons and brought up his map of the area. He stopped for just a second to make sure he was going the right way. He turned left and kept going. He brought up the area directly above the generator. There were only two entrances. One was atop the wall, but there would be no way to scale it with the shield still active. The other was at the base of it, a heavy durasteel door. That would be the only way in.

He spun another corner and came to a halt. The glowing blue shield was still up around the inner city. Thank the gods. He lunged forward, nearly slamming into the wall before sharply turning and following it. He ran his hands along the wall, coming to a halt in front of the giant door. Upon closer inspection the security panel had already been destroyed. The stormtroopers had got there first. Vash pulled out his hammer. and swung open the door. He took a deep breath before plunging into the darkness of the hallway.

He had a bad feeling about this.

Sampson ranas fast as his powerful legs would carry him. The four troopers he had grabbed along the way were only just keeping up with him. As he rounded a corner the lare door that was his only enterance to generator came into view.

"Get that door open now!" He shouted behind him. As slowed down, a large trooper ran ahead and begun to fiddle with buttons on the controll pannell. Five minutes later the door was still closed.

"It's no good comander. There's to many re-wires and passwords. Everytime I break a system four more set themselves up."

"Tarkins teeth with that!" He angrily aimed his blaster and fired it into the controll pannel. Get me some mines! We'll blow it down!"

After fifteen minutes and twenty-three explosions, the door finnaly flew backwards to slam into a large wall behind it. The corridor was well lit but after consistent shots from Sampson and the troopers, every light had been blown to pieces, save for one blinking emergency light at the far end. Apart from the lights, there was only one other feature to the corridor. Tall alcoves were seperated every five metres. Sampson assigned one trooper to hide just inside of an alcove half way towards the main shielding room. This would be the first line of defense. The trooper was extremely well skilled at hand to hand combat as well as sniper shooting. The second line was inside a room that seperated the shield generator from the corridor. The three remaining troopers and Sampson laid five rows of mines one behind the other. He assinged two men to stand guard at the door to the shielding room whilst himself and the last trooper headed in.

Sampson looked at the generator feeling similar reflects of awe to that which he had felt in the first one. He aimed his blaster at it and fired four rapid shots into the heart of the machine. Almost instantly a green shield shot up and deflected the bolts.

"Well that was unexpected..."he muttered to himself. Kneeling down, he slowly reached forward till he was sure nothing would attack his hands. He pulled out some small tools from a lower pouch and begun to fiddle with the main components on the generator. This might take some time but at least it should be effective he thought to himself.

Vash barely fit in the narrow hallway of the shield generator's bunker. He had twisted his body sidways to fit easily. The hall was long, and the only sign of it's ending was a single blinking light at the end. After several minutes of shuffling, Vash made it to the end. The door was already creacked open, but there was no sign of any of the troops.

The room was set up with several large alcoves, five or six of them in Vash's view. It was probably made that way so a small amount of Sakath could defend against relatively large numbers, which would also explain the narrow hall. Only one or two normal sized people could walk in that. This place was definently the final fallback point of the city.

The room was quite small. Just barely large enough for a blaster fight, and just narrowly big enough for melee fighting. Vash decided on the latter and pulled the hammer off his back. He slapped the giant maul down in his hands, making a slap that reverberated through the hall.

Vash moved forward, passing through many of the alcoves, wary of each one. After several more seconds he finally calmed down a second. At the end of the room another light was blinking. It was faint, but it was most likely the shield room. Vash began to sprint forward, but was suddenly stopped when a bolt zoomed past his head. He threw his body sideways, landing the bulk of his body behind the pillar. He poked his head out slightly, looking to see where the shot had come from. He couldn't see anything in the darkness. He moved forward out into the hall as a bolt struck where his head was. had he been using it for cover, he would have been dead.

Vash spun around, seeing the trooper clearly now. Vash charged forward, hammer raised high and let out a ferocious battle cry.

"KYAAAA!" He screamed as the hammer slammed down of the man. Or should have. He felt the hammer swish through the air, slamming hard on the ground. He immediatly reversed his momentem, swinging the hammer to his side, narrowly missing the trooper. He finally stopped the giant hammer and took a look at the man. He was tall, for a storm trooper, and he wasnt wearing a helmet. He had long black hair and a wicked smile on his face.

Vash took a step back raising the hammer to eye level, as the trooper produced a sword. A vibroblade. Vash hadn't seen them used much as of late, but this man held it with a deadly calm.

Vash lunged forward, upercutting the hammer, only to see it slide off the sword. Vash stepped back before the sword could gut him, but was off balance. He shoved the hammer forward, hoping to catch the man off guard, but no such look. The man twisted his blade and the hammer merely ran down the side of it. The trooper jumped forward, and Vash felt the red hot sting of the blade down his arm. He spun around to face the trooper again.

The cut was deep, but it wouldnt stop Vash. He felt his semi-sentient nerve clusters come to life and begin to mend the wound. he expected a look of astonishment from the man, but no such reaction came.

Vash dove forward again, this time in a feign. He stopped moments before slamming into the man. The trooper dodged too soon, and was left off balance while the Gen'Dai was in an attack position. Vash swung the hammer in a hard horizontal strike, slamming into the man's rib cage. The man flew backwards, sword flying into the air. Vash took the chance and charged him again. Vash was inches from him now, hammer held high, when he felt a sting.

He looked down at his gut to see a fist sized hole clear through his stomach. He dropped his hammer and fell to his knees. He clutched at his stomach. The trooper had, in an instant, produced a high powered blaster pistol. The trooper was now cackling wildy, a devilish grin on his face.

Moments passed, and still his wound was not healing. This could be bad. He didnt remember ever taking a shot this bad, what if it didnt heal? As vash was contemplating his position, the man was rooting through his pockets. As vash looked up, the man produced a thermal detonater, and clicked it on. Vash's eyes went wide at the lights surrounding it began to flash. The man was still laughing like a hyena. Vash took another looks at his stomach. Finally, the wound was beggining to heal. The blinding pain had left, and Vash's sense had returned.

His hand shot out, grabbing and snapping the mans wrist. he stopped laughing at the thermal detonater hit the ground. Vash easily hoisted the man with one hand, before launching him across the room, nearly to the entrance. Vash picked up the detonater and hurled it with all his might. It slammed into the man's already broken chest, knocking him back into the ground.

He picked up his hammer and sprinted down the hall as fast as his massive legs would take him. He heard the belittled screams of the man as the detonater went off. Behind him, Vash could hear the entire bunker crumbling down. Only his final dive saved him from being crushed by the rubble.

All went quiet as Vash dusted himself off. He turned around to see the damage he had wrought. All of the cave behind him had collapsed. It must be a hundred yards thick. He picked up his hammer and slung it over his shoulder.

Only one way to go now.

The first thing to reach Commander Sampsons ears, where the dying screams of an excellent fighter. The first line of defense had been breached. A sudden explosion caused the floor to rock violently. Sampson had to grab hold of the shield generator just to stop himself from smashing into it. The other trooper was not soo lucky. He slipt on the floor and skidded backwards into the alrge wall behind him. Gettting back up the man shook his head, clearly dazed but alive none the least.

So the Bounty Hunter beat Jen. I'm impressed, the Commander thought to himself, but that doesn't mean it's over. You have to now get past lines of mines, and two of the best troopers I have under my command, at not only hand to hand combat but stealth aswell.

In the adjourning corridor to the shielding room the two remaining troopers activated their stealth generators and moved carefully away from the mines. Infront of them, the large door opened, and the Bounty Hunter was revealed.
