In His Beginning...

His Boss was furious. After giving food poisoning to another customer he knew surely the man would give him the boot.
"You killed another costumer you stupid human!" Said the Bothan, "Last strike! Go and join the rest of the Kowakian Monkey Lizards out on the streets! You're fired!"

Ya Scorpe turned away and walked out the doors. His life as a Diner Worker was over and he was glad of it. It was about as action-filled as a desk-job... there was none.

He collected his brown overcoat and strided out the door. In one pocket was a Bryar Pistol with a scope, another had about four hundred credits, and the other was about two days worth of food he stole.

Ya Scorpe stopped at his apartment a few blocks away, the owner told him to get his stuff and vamoose. Life for him was now at a downhill point. He grabbed the few clothes and other belongings he could, and stuffed them in a backpack. He walked out, as the Bothan lady who was a relative of the Diner owner gave him a hard stare as he left. Ya replied by waving as he left.

The street was empty, and it was midnight. He walked for a few hours and eventually stopped at a small corner pub. He sat down and got just a drink of Corellian Ale. Next to him a man and woman were talking, they were heavily armed. He didn't look at them but he listened hoping that one of them wasn't force sensitive.

"Yeah, but did you see my shot on that Smuggler though? Two to the chest and one in the eye! The Eye man!" The man said.
"Ahh that's nothing. I think I saw a baby do that once!" the girl said back to the other guy, "If you want to know action, this one time, I was being chased down by some bounty hunter, a real slick guy as well. He was in a speeder, and started going full speed at me, I only had a Katana left since my DL-44 was empty, I speared the sword at the guy and dived out of the way. It hit him right through the throat."

These stories started to interest Ya Scorpe. He couldn't help but look at them talk about their stories while sipping his drink. The man peered over and saw him watching, but went straight back to talking with the girl. He'd seen these people before. Hitmen... freelancers... ronins - whatever their jobs were called, they interested Ya Scorpe and this was going to be his next profession.
