Dameo
From the rolling hills to the many forests, the high mountains to low valleys, the great seas and deadly deserts Dameo was a majestic planet. He hadnt thought much of it on his arrival, but as the months had passed he had found it as beautiful as she had, and indeed it was. One had to appreciate lovely things, to stop for a while, if not for just a moment and realize that things were beautiful. It did good to raise the spirits, and a greater outlook on life.
He awoke in the dim mornings light, seeping past the thin sheets of fabric that covered the open balcony, a brisk wind catching them ever so slightly as they wafted to and fro. His arm rested over her waist, he lay in spoons with her, he seemed to remember sleeping this way for a long time now, and couldnt imagine it any other way. He grined softly, snuggling his face into her shoulder as he inhaled the scent of her hair, resting his face against her. He just lay there, holding her close for moments, before closing his eyes one last time, kissing the base of her neck.
Slidding his hand back over her waist as gently as possible he slowly rolled back, sliding out of the bed as softly as he could, trying not to disturb her sleep. The bed side mirror faced right into him, things were different. He could remember a time he would have avoided such an act, he had felt so wrong about himself he could hardly face a mirror. She had changed him, for the better. He saw it in the mirror, a large grin on his face, even his body looked younger than before, he felt so good!
Walking around the bed he sliped into a long black robe he had hung off the bed post the previous night. He didnt bother to tie the strap, it felt more comfortable that way, and who was to see that would care?
Sliding through the drapes he was bathed in the suns warm gaze, its shimmering warmth making him feel good all over. Stretching out his body he lifted his arms well out above his head, pushing out his chest, reaching back down he placed a firm hand on the rail and surveyed the beauty of the day.[/i]
