Dameo
From the rolling hills to the many forests, the high mountains to low valleys, the great seas and deadly deserts Dameo was a majestic planet. He hadnt thought much of it on his arrival, but as the months had passed he had found it as beautiful as she had, and indeed it was. One had to appreciate lovely things, to stop for a while, if not for just a moment and realize that things were beautiful. It did good to raise the spirits, and a greater outlook on life.

He awoke in the dim mornings light, seeping past the thin sheets of fabric that covered the open balcony, a brisk wind catching them ever so slightly as they wafted to and fro. His arm rested over her waist, he lay in spoons with her, he seemed to remember sleeping this way for a long time now, and couldnt imagine it any other way. He grined softly, snuggling his face into her shoulder as he inhaled the scent of her hair, resting his face against her. He just lay there, holding her close for moments, before closing his eyes one last time, kissing the base of her neck.

Slidding his hand back over her waist as gently as possible he slowly rolled back, sliding out of the bed as softly as he could, trying not to disturb her sleep. The bed side mirror faced right into him, things were different. He could remember a time he would have avoided such an act, he had felt so wrong about himself he could hardly face a mirror. She had changed him, for the better. He saw it in the mirror, a large grin on his face, even his body looked younger than before, he felt so good!

Walking around the bed he sliped into a long black robe he had hung off the bed post the previous night. He didnt bother to tie the strap, it felt more comfortable that way, and who was to see that would care?

Sliding through the drapes he was bathed in the suns warm gaze, its shimmering warmth making him feel good all over. Stretching out his body he lifted his arms well out above his head, pushing out his chest, reaching back down he placed a firm hand on the rail and surveyed the beauty of the day.

Rolling over, she yawns as the warm sun hits her face, waking her up. She glances over at the man beside her and she smiles softly. What a wonderful it had been.

Rolling her shoulders on the dark red silk sheets, she relishes the feel of the fabric against her back, thinking it feels good to be alive for once in her life. This one had actually made her more happier than the others, making her feel special and wanted and needed, not for what she is, but for who she is. That made her feel more alive than anything else.

She walks out to the balconey of her room and looks down at the city below, who are just beginning their day, like her. She would have to take a walk down there soon, see how her people are doing.

Chuckling, she runs a hand through her hair and notes that she needs to brush out her tangles soon, especially after her shower. She carefully frees herself from his arms and walks into the bathroom. There, she turns on the hot water and steps into her shower, beginning her long, busy day.

Shifting his weight to the side he glanced at her as the light from the sun enveloped her, fingers through her hair. Her taught body glazen in the mornings sun. He watched her for a few moments more before she turned back to the room. Her hair whiping in the wind, sliding across his arm as she walked away, its silken strands leaving him in want.

She was a wonderful woman, and she held one great thing that he had felt with no other. Trust. In her he found trust, in everything and nothing. It brought him close to her, it opened him up to her. She had beauty, charm, personality, brains, and it never seemed to end with the list of her wonders. Most of all though, he trusted her, and thats what he cared about.

The sound of rushing water met his ears as her turned, he saw the bathroom door open.

As she massaged the shampoo into her, she remembered another time when she was this happy. That other person had made her feel this way, but not for long. He had been reported dead, missing in the field, all that kind of stuff. Even though she could still feel him alive, she moved on, for she knew he would never come back for her. She knew it in her heart.

Rinsing her hair out, she let the water rinse that memory out as well. Right now, she focused on the present, and the future. She focused on the one who loved her now, and the one she loved in return. She could feel in her heart he trusted her. She smiled and chuckles softly, now grabbing the soap to wash the rest of herself, realizing that his trust in her also helps her put her trust and faith and even loyalty in him as well.

Lathering up the soap, she sees a large black head peek in, growling softly. Chuckling a bit loudly, she puts a soapy hand on her panthers head, who also serves as her guardcat during the night. She speaks to her pet through a telepathic bond that they share.

Well, good morning, Sumohn. Is he awake yet, girly?

"That I am" He said

His hand trailed over the panthers back, first two fingers and then runing a single finger tip up the large cats spine. She didnt growl at him this time, then again, she didnt purr either. In any case she was becoming more accustomed to his prescence and that was good enough for him. Curling his fingers over the skin on the Panthers neck he softly pet her neck.

Leaning against the doorway he grined to her, the sight of her nudity hardly concerned him anymore. Not that it did nothing for him, it just didnt seem to matter to him that she was showering when he talked.

"Whats the itenerary look like today hun?"

Jadey thinks for a moment and smiles softly.

"I thought to maybe have a quiet day here at the castle, doing unusual things, even for me."

She turns off the water and steps out, wrapping herself in a fluffy dark green towel, and another on her head.

"That is, if none of my siblings bother me about our homeworld, and I end up having to go there to fight them about it."

She walks to her closet and pulls out an older outfit of her. Dark blue hip hugging capri pants, and a sleeveless halfshirt which stops just below her ample breasts. On her feet she places thick soled biker boots, each holding a sheathed stiletto.

Throwing on her trademark ankle length black leather jacket, she walks outside into her garden. Right behind the roses stands a gravestone. Plucking off a rose, she lays it on the gravestone.

The stone is the marker of a grave for her first love ever, Drako Night. Drako had died after giving Jadey his power, and their daughter Amethyst Rose Night blames Jadey for it.

Jadey made this grave for him out of respect for him, with Sumohn by her side. Her mother Flavia had been a gift to Jadey from Drako. Flavia, therefore, lies next to Drako, to protect him in death. Sumohn also felt it proper to visit here as well.

There Jadey kneels, speaking sotly to Drako's grave in the Daemun language, a language only she, Drako, and Amethyst know, speak, read, and write.

As she left the room he quickly hoped into the shower, lathering his well muscled body with soap, making sure to clean himself well in case any prospective business came looking for him. Clients came in all shapes and forms, and at all the unexpected times, it payed to be ready.

Steping from the tub he turned off the water, glancing at himself in the steamy mirror he wiped his eyebrows, grining to his own reflection. He emerged from the bathroom and walked to the closet, pulling his pants and muscle shirt from a nearby hanger.

As he walked out the door he pulled on a nearby trench coat, it would be a short walk to the cemetary, where he knew she would be. Her routine seemed normal enough, he respected her need to visit the graves, didnt understand it, but respected it.

Feeling another presense closeby, Jadey glances around for a moment, then spots Raktus walking to where she kneels. She stands, brushing dirt off her pants, her head lowered. She turns to meet Raktus, then stops, saying something else before she goes.

"Watch over her, Drako. Soon it will be her time to assume her position, and I need you to keep her safe until then. Please, shes our daughter. Dont let her join you too fast."

Jadey growls softly to Sumohn, who pads beside her Master when summoned. She then speaks to her pet telepathically as she walks to Raktus.

I want you to go find Fawn and have her ready in my quarters. I have a mission for her. Go now!

Jadey chuckles as Sumohn flies past Raktus, almost knocking him down in the process, in too much of a hurry.

He leaned back swiftly as the large cat dashed past him, his hands in his pockets not helping his stability. He walked on, glancing over his shoulder at the rapidly vanishing pet. Stoping just in front of Jade he spoke,,,

"We all set?"

Glancing past Raktus to Sumohn, she nods, smiling softly.

"For the moment, yes. Perhaps I can get some of my piled up paperwork done before I get distracted by Sumohn again."

Chucking softly, she glances around, actually taking a day off from her usual morning exercise routine of running in the forest of Daemo with Sumohn at her side.

"Or maybe I could work on fixing my ship up before I travel with it again. Just something to.....forget......the universe exists for one day."
