"Target aquired," a soft voice rose from the crew pit. The soldier was nervous, as he deserved to be. This was the first battle the Super Star Destroyer and her crew had seen for a long, long time.
"Admiral! Communications from the Vice-Admiral!" He nodded.
Before he could speak, there was another cry. A message to the Starfire, routed automatically as well to the flagship, from the enemy commander.
"...Attention enemy commander, I have at least six disabled ships here and they are still fully crewed. Tell me, do you have any compassion for your men or can I relieve them of their sad little existences...?"
"...I'm waiting commander, so are your men. I would hate to think of what I might have to do to them..."
He turned first to the Imperial hologram, and shook his head.
"You can wait, scum. If those men die, it will only make your own deaths more painful."
The Admiral nodded and cut the com, a grim smile drawing itself over his face.
"Fire the primary weapon." It was a long-range shot, but little trouble to the massive superlaser aboard the flagship.
For a brief moment, the entire battlezone froze as the Imperial command ship, the Venerator-class Star Destroyer Barbarossa, was reduced to so much free-floating junk.
As it cleared, there was a silence across the bridge. More than half the Imperial force was gone.
"Wreckage?" The Admiral shouted, searching sensors in vain for the lost warships.
"Negative, sir. They hyped out." He sighed. It would have been nice, certainly, to see the enemy destroyed so quickly, but even their absence was a good sign.
Unless, of course, something was up.
"Cover our rear and flanks, Colonel. I don't want any surprises. Recharge the superlaser. Continue moving us forward."
The Yamato was gone, now torn to shreds by the Republic's Defender Division, and the Empire's reserve fleet was being cut to pieces.
It had been a glorious day for the Empire. Hiram Drayson would make it a tragedy.

OOC: Not sure where you got the idea half of my force hyped out. I must have typed something wrong. But everything is still there. If you want to hit the Barbarossa, go ahead.

“Admiral, Rebel ESD off the stern!”
The superlaser fired, the Barbarossa was hit, the New Republic cheered... and the Imperial reinforcements arrived. All in a second.
“Damn...” Osiaric cursed under his breath, standing up quickly and enlarging his holo-display, so that he could walk around it as the battle continued. “Status of the fleet?”
“The Barbarossa appears to have been hit with the ESD’s superlaser... rest of the fleet appears intact... minimal battle damage.”
“Deploy fighters,” Tulok ordered, staring at the battle display.
“Fighters deploying... Admiral, there is a sizeable stock of Imperial-class Star Destroyers accompanying the ESD. I count thirty, total.”
“True, Lieutenant,” Osiaric admitted, staring keenly at the display. “But just look at their formation. They’re moving full-thrust toward the main fleet, and we’re right smack on their tail. If it wasn’t for that ESD’s gravity wells, we’d have slammed right into them; we’re that close. And let me tell you, an ISD at full sublight won’t turn on a point.”
“Good point, Admiral. We should run up behind them, I think...” Tulok looked to him for an answer, but Osiaric just looked away.
“Signal the Scout Squadron. They’re to run the gauntlet, Yellow Seven formation, and come about when they reach the far point of the Rebel fleet.”
“What are you doing, Captain?” Osiaric almost yelled, his eyes piercing Tulok.
The Captain stared back, not frightened of his Admiral any more than he was the first tiem Osiaric showed a power display.
“Look, some of the ISD’s are already turning to engage us,” Osiaric said. “We need that squadron. Call them back!” Osiaric yelled to Lithium, who promptly went about recalling the ships.
“It’ll take them too long to turn to effectively engage us,” Tulok countered, deciding to let the abandonment of his idea rest.
“We won’t be able to catch them in time, Captain.” Osiaric had reverted to his old habit of stressing Tulok’s rank, to remind him of his place in the command structure. “Or have you forgotten that the Venerator is typically slower than a normal Star Destroyer? It would be a far better strategy to wait here for them to engage with the brunt of the Centurion, and then make our move.”
“Sir, if we attack now we can disable their superlaser before they have another chance to fire it. They could devastate half the fleet before even getting there if we let the superlaser survive.”
Osiaric was about to offer a counter argument, when Lithium’s voice interrupted.
“Sirs, the Scout squadron has been pinned down by Rebel Star Destroyers.”

Kamon smiled as the Barbaroosa was hit. Drayson had already answered the enemy commander so Kamon didn't send a reply. He did send a message to Drayson warning him to watch for enemy ships to ram him. He also warned him of an attack on the superlaser. That would be the first target.
Starfire Battle
The Defenders opened up on the enemy forces. Specifically on the Abolishers. They had to go. General Skai knew his business and would get the job done.
Kamon and his other ships assaulted the new enemy command ship in the reserve fleet. They pounded the ships shields with everything they had.
Spearhead
What was left of the Spearhead moved away from the enemy fleet in order to hook up with the rest of the Capital ships around the planet. As they did so, the launched barrages of missiles at the enemy fleet and picked up whatever survivors they could. The rest remained where they were.
Kamon couldn't rescue the crews. Besides, they knew their duty as soldiers of the Republic. They might have to die in battle. It was as simple as that.

Barbarossa Remains/ Rommel
Trachta had sat grumpily in an escape pod as it was reeled in by the Rommel. He had been forced to evacuate the Barbarossa after the ESD had fired on it and he and Captain Fowl had squeezed into an escape pod. Now it was beening placed down on the docking bay's deck. Trachta popped open the pod hatch and stepped outto be greeted by Imperial naval troopers.
"Commodore on deck!" Shouted the captain of the troopers as he saluted. The others followed suit by saluting also.
"At ease," Trachta said as he walked to a main turbolift. He entered with Captain Fowl behind him. He then punched in the correct passcode and the lift took him directly to the bridge level. The doors opened and Trachta stepped off with Captain Fowl in tow. They were greeted by the ships commander and squadron leader, Line Captain Heinreich Jager.
"Welcome aboard the Rommel, Commodore," Jager saidashe stood there.
Trachta simply turned to him.
"Captian, I am siezing this ship as my de facto command vessel with the Barbarossa's demise."
"Uh... of course, sir."
"Good, now order all ships to fire on the enemy pods and disabled ships," Trachta ordered evily as he stood there and turned to face the viewport.
Jager saluted and relayed the order. Soon there were flashes of light as Trachta's ships opened fire vaporizing the enemy escape pods and causing the six enemy warships to explode in violent fireballs.
"Now, as for our would be Chancellor and he little, Twilight. Have those two shroud cruisers perform the Emperor's Glory tactic on the two primary targets," Trachta said.
Captian Jager and Captain Fowl both looked at Trachta like he was insane
"But sir, why?" Fowl asked now confused.
"It's simple. Without the bridge or the superlaser, The Eclipse will be useless. I will be nothing more than a command center after that and I believe Admiral Osaric will be able to handle that. We must make this sacrifice for the Glory of the Empire. We must ensure our victory here no mater what," Trachta said as he stood there.
Fowl and Jager saluted as they relayed orders.
Starfire Battle
The two shroud cruisers moved about detected only by the force. They moved into their attack positions registerign no alert from the enemy as they seemed ready to attack. Then they recieved the Emperor's Glory tactic order. They each angled at their targets. They also were giving off a wave of grave determination. Even if a force user picked that up it was too late. Both ships rocketed right at the ESD Twilight, their engines at full power and all power being put into them and their shields.
They rocketed closer and closer and no ons could do anything about it, because no one could see the approach of the large kamikazies as they rocketd toward the Bridge and the superlaser. No matter what happened, one of them would hit.
The rest of the Fleet Reserve, though, was turning their guns on the Starfire, to finish it off to so as to break the concentration of the force user on board and hopefully knock him uncouncious, if not kill him.

I would request that this RP be placed on hold until Rebel Fire: Moment of Weakness ends.
(RP Note: I suggest everyone involved read Rebel Fire: Moment of Weakness, as it portrays events on the ESSD bridge at this same moment in time.)
<font color=green>[b]With a suddenness never expected among any present, the massive Super Star Destroyer stopped. Reports on the Imperial warships would be telling them that main reactor was down. Shut down, perhaps, by sabatours?
Shields, engines, weapons, all died as the mamoth flagship stopped moving. And the smaller shapes of the Star Destroyers trained their guns on their own flagship, but did not fire.
It would be only a matter of time, many were sure, before the communications that their was a stalemate on the flagship 's bridge, and that the mamoth cruiser was dead in space.
Republic vessels would destroy their flagvessel before they would see it fall under the command of Rogue Republic forces.
And the battle raged around them all.
