As Jordan and Logray neared the two Dark signatures they were seeking, Kenshin felt a Dark vibe coming from the Academy.
He felt chaos at the Academy. This wasn't good. He knew many valuble sources of information were in the Archives and they needed to be protected. But the people needed protection too.
After some quick thought, Kenshin turned around and headed back in the direction of the Academy. Padawans were there and they needed to be protected as well. He hoped Logray and Jordan would understand and would be able to hold the two Dark presences off for awhile.
Besides, they didn't seem to need much of his guidance...

Chikami rode the pockets of air to rise with a thrilling speed to the surface of the lake. Looking up at the bank Chikami could see his welcoming commitee. A trio of jedi padawans, but no it soon only became a pair of them as one turned tail and ran home. Chikami removed his aquata breather and pointed at the padawans.
"Hey Lupercus looks like we a greeting party. Best not keep our hosts waiting."
With an evil grin Chikami swam until he hit the shallows of the lake. Standing in knee deep water he looked at the jedi padawans.
"The gungan city is no more, and any remaining survivors probably drowned in the blast, and don't even say it yes a gungan can drown. All you have to do is get them panicked and let the water come pouring in.
I tell you what I'm feeling generous right now. I'll let you walk away and preten you never saw me causing you no ill for this meeting, or you can stay and fight us. Although you may like to know that the death of one of your own is our fault. She got in the way and was appropriately dealt with."
Chikami hold his arms out to his side in a good will fashion.

Lupercus was slightly behind Chikami as he shot up towards the sky. As he was propelled from the water he kicked into a somersault, launching his spinning body towards the padawan welcoming party. With a drenching splash he landing, water spraying out and covering the two padawans.
"I don't know if we should bother Chikami... I think i've packed some bugspray, it should work a treat on these two!"

Logray kept his lightsaber pointed at one of the sith, the one who first came out of the once Gungan inhabited water. Logray listened carefully to the Sith's offer, tightening his grip on the lightsaber. Their chances were low, even lower now that Kenshin left to help at the academy. But they must. They must stand now, and protect the people of Naboo. It was their duty.
Logray focused the force into him, preparing to counterstrike if one the Sith attacked. He would stay and fight with Jordan, or without him.

Ky-Vin darted into the Academy's Jedi Archives. He could sense the turbulent emotions rippling in the Force.
The smell of smoke was in the air and Ky-Vin could hear some explosions as he entered. A man, he assumed it was a Sith, was moving through the archives, obviously enjoying himself as he destroyed pieces of equipment.
He skidded to a halt, and upon seeing the man with his weapon, Ky-Vin drew his own lightsaber and ignited it. He let the familiar *Snappp-hisss* sound escape the polished hilt, following by the low thrumming of the green blade, before calling out to him.
"That's enough fun for today," Ky-Vin announced confidently. He had never faced a Sith before, but he was unafraid. He waited for the man to turn and face him.

Kenshin dashed into the Library Archives to see Ky-Vin already there. He gave a slight grin at the sight of a friend. It boosted his confidence somewhat.
He stepped up beside his fellow padawan, his eyes quickly scanning the terrain of the battlefield and the opponent. He noted the damage and made a promise that no more destruction would be done.
"I see you beat me here."
He stated with a hint of humour. But this wasn't a time to joke and his expression soon became serious.
A *snap-hiss* was heard as the metallic cylinder at his side flew into his hand and ignited. A pale sky-blue blade, almost white, hummed into life.

Perrin swung once more striking a wall of data. As he slowly turned around toward the voice, his eyes shifted left and right at the rows upon rows of smashed data "walls" lined up.
The Jedi stood in the center holding tightly his weapon.
"Come to instruct me on the error of my ways?" he asked, grinning wryly.
The Jedi bravely put up a front of courage. Or perhaps the courage was real.
In any event, he had no perceptions beyond what was in front of him..
Perrin put a hand on a burnt data wall, small fires erupting behind him. The crackle of sparks (sometimes behind him, sometimes overhead) were ignored.
This Jedi wants to fight.
"You would choose to protect inanimate objects rather than the city's inhabitants who are surely dying?" he asked curiously.
"Strange set of priorities for one who cherishes life."
Perrin's eyes narrowed in concentration as if he seemed to glance through the Jedi.
His opened his arms wide keeping his saber on.
"Here I am, Jedi."
Perrin's grin widened.
"Take your best shot."
Sparks ignited overhead as the Sith and the Jedi stared at each other down the length of the library.

Jordan heard the Sith but did not care to listen. The only part he cared about was the telling of all the gungans dead. He promised himself down in the waters that he would not let anymore die. He did not fulfill that promise. He must stop these Sith.
Jordan pulled his lightsaber to him using the Force. It was in his hand and he pressed the activation button. The *snap-hiss* emmitted and the black blade shot out. If Jordan had to use force he would to protect this planet, but first came the negotiations.
"You cannot harm Jedi. If you kill a Jedi he or she only becomes stronger. And you will not stop us. We are trained but one of the best Masters alive and you will not stop us. We are here to stop you from hurting anymore innocent people."

Ky-Vin ignored the Sith's words. His strategy was to confuse, intimidate, create doubt. Beneath all that, he knew the Sith was hollow.
He could practically sense the Sith falter, now that Kenshin had arrived.
Ky-Vin saw the injured young Jedi being carried away from the Archives. He could see the old woman knocked unconscious against the wall. This was about protecting the innocent, not data.
Ky-Vin took a few bold steps toward the man. He held his lightsaber in a ready position in front of him.
"Lay down your weapon. Surrender, and you won't be hurt. This is your LAST chance." he said.

Lupercus laughed, a deep laugh that came straight from the heart.
"Chikami, it certainly looks like we've made the Jedi stronger! Vonta lies dead at the bottom of the ocean, and there are millions of gungans there with her!"
He took a step forward, his sabres appearing as if out of nowhere, their ruby blades emitting a deadly glow.
"Care to begin the lesson Chikami?"
