Empire's Shadows: A Funeral for Twelve (TCS specifically)

ooc:o oh 1 post? checks rules hmmm. yep I was right some god moding there. You wonder why? let me elaborate

1.You weren't even going after the abolisher you were attacking destruction
2.No time to respond
3.1 post ummm NO!
4.the abolisher was staying out of the fight

so in conclusion I don't consider the IG's to be here, nor TNA nor the Raging Night Hammer. And Chadd. The shuttles would have been a bit stronger connected than that. so I don't consider all those soldiers dead either. Because.....
1.you SLOOOWLY build up speed
2.a ISD isn't even that fast
and 3.My troops are not total dumbasses my training is just as good as yours so please take that and stick it up your ass

ic:The captain of the destuction seemed to waver. Admiral Joe immeaditly sensed that Fearsons was trying to interfere with the captains thought process. He immeaditly sent a blocking thought to block the diorientation coming from Fearsons. While not trained as much as the Rogue Emperor he still had enough power to hold him off. The Avarice was keeping up it's fire on the Dreadnaught and suddenly the shields collapsed. Ion Cannon Fire spread over the hull. With one might Volley of 100 Proton torpedoes the Dreadnaught was destroyed. The Avarice know moved against the Hell Bringer. The Ion Cannon Fire was concentratred on the engines trying to stop the ship. There was very little return fire because most of the crewmen were loyal to Admiral Joe Schmoe and recognized the Avarice's tatic. The Red Dog was in a similar state faced by all the batteries thatboth the Lusankya and the Destruction could bear against it, the ship was hopelessly outmatched.Shields were failing and had already faild in certain areas. With a final shot the shields failed altogether and the Turbolaser strikes reached out to touch the hull of the ship. They all concentrated on the Command Tower. Suddenly the Red Dog's threat indicater flickered and diminished to zero. The Commadn Tower had been blown off. Know there was just 2 active enemy capital ships in system and one of them was cloaked so essentially out of the fight. The Lusankya and the Destruction rounded on Zealous Mist. All batteries possible were brought to bear and hundreds of Turbolaser shots splayed out over the shields. They wer concentrating on both the Port and starboard sides forcing tyhem to keep their shields even.

ooc:the Dreadnaught and the Red Dog are both dead

OOC:read my post! i never said anything about coming out of hyperspace. That means, that I was already there. So i am still here.

IC:
IG 99 got a target lock on the TIE Defender. He shot volley after volley of shots from it's ion cannons and laser cannons. The shields on the TIE Defender colapsed and the ion cannons shorted out the systems. Then IG 99 turned and hooked up in formation with IG 88. Together they went after a Raider. They zoomed in on it and shot a volley of proton torpedoes and concussion missiles. They did another run and another. Then finally the shields came down and they shot their ion cannons at it. The Raider contuined in a straight line with most of it's systems out. Then they went after the nearest enemy, a Shadow Droid. Suddenly IG 88 heard a beeping. He looked and saw that an enemy TIE Defender had tryied to get a lock on him. He signaled IG 99 and their turrets turned and opened fire, while the two fighters went into a series of twists and turns that no living being good match. Then the TIE Defender finally blew up. They turned saw that the fight had drawn them close to the abolisher cruiser. They quickly turned around and fired on a TIE Defender that had just swooped in front of them. They followed the pilot through the fight and shot him down with an ion cannons blast. That was two TIE Defenders and a Raider down from ion cannons, and a Shadow Droid down from laser cannon fire, so far.

OOC Joe, I consulted Hex, you take down my Dreadnaught, but sorry bud, you lost the Abolisher, and the Red Dog is out of Gun Range, so, HAH! And how many times do I have to tell you? A terrorist syndicate with no prior funding and only one planet CANNOT have Imperial level training, it's simply impossible, you should barely be able to staff your ships as is. Oh one more thing...your commanders donno jack shiyat about the Force cause quite frankly, you never stated before the battle they were trained, you never trained them, and they are simply raw Force users if they have any sensativity at all.

The emperor winced as his dreadnaught first took a series of tiny explosions throughout the hull, then dipped downward, spiraling out of control, and then slowly it pieced its exterior out...and exploded, sending a seering shockwave around it, damaging all the ships around it...such as the Avarice, Disruptor, Destruction, and Zealous Mist.

But it was only minimal damage, and the battle continued. The turbo lasers picked up at an alarming rate, and it seemed the shields of the Hell Bringer decreased slightly, but not enough to make a major difference.

"Ok bring the Star Destroyer around, we're too vulnerable back here," the emperor demanded, clutching his hands painfully behind his back, he did not notice the slit of blood trinkling through his black leather glove however due to the tenseness of this battle. It was amusing however, that only now had Schmoe taken down his first Rogue Imperial star cruiser.

The Imperial Star Destroyer twisted and turned, taking several hits to the starboard, but returning them ferociously to the fore of the Mark III Star Destroyer, where they could not fight back. The small anti-starfighter missile launcher as well ripped from the bow of Joe's monstrous star cruiser.

"Ok good, now that we have a good defensive position, dip it starboard about ten degrees, give them something to break their teeth on."

There was no arguement, the emperor had been in many of these battles before. The top turbo lasers were letting out the typical SHREWER SHREWER as they exploded from their holding cannons and tore more and more of the shields from the Mark III Star Destroyer.

"Ok good, good, aim at the deflector shield generator, the remaining one," he explained excitedly, slowly letting the grip on his other hand soothe as he watched the battle, enticing his flavors of victory ever further.

He looked over at the grid display to see:

The Rogue Imperial capital ships had the Destruction pinned down in a small box, and the several green turbo lasers colliding into it did not exactly help its morale or shields any. With the New Alliance forces hitting them as well from the fore...

More shots collided back into the Hell Bringer, the Chimerans' desire to slay the emperor went deep down, yet they simply did not have the experience, courage, will power, or training to do so against the battle hardened Rogue Empire.

The bridge shook slightly and he spun to the comms officer seated below his catawalk. "Contact the Abolishers, have them activate their anti-gravity wells," he demanded as he frisked his hands about one another.

"Aye aye sir!"

His navy had trained long and hard for days like this, he had fought long and hard to be well sought out like this, and now...the Chimeran Syndicate would have to die long and hard like this.

A stray Shadow Droid tried taking pot shots at the shield generators of the Hell Bringer, but to deal with that a turbo laser met it head on, ripping the solar panels from the main hull and sending it splashing against the strong exterior and deflector shields of the Star Destroyer.

"We're taking heavy damage from the Avarice, please assist!" cried the speaker from the Victory Star Destroyer Red Dog. There was an easy way to deal with this.

"Ok time to test out these new missiles, hit the Avarice with two of these FEX-139 missiles, make sure we have one or two left behind however," Fearsons said with a feral grin forming to his lips.

The normally anti starfighter missile launcher curved open and launched one two missiles toward the ion thrust ship, they would be forced to divert some fire...if they even saw it coming in the first place.

"Redirect all starfighter fire power on the Ion Thrust Ship, wait no, cancel that. Send the Missile Boats and TIE Defenders against the Avarice, keep everything else here and have 'em hug the Hell Bringer."

More shots from the Disruptor and the Tempest Mist combined with the massive vollies from the Raging Night Hammer began to take its toll against the Lusankya and Destruction. The engines began to crumble, the second shield dome tearing from the bridge. The battle was going all too well indeed.

Siather watched as the readings on the sensor panel showed the Avarice the TCS Ion Cruiser were falling specifically in the sheild information. That ship was a constant thorn in the Zealous Mist's side throughout the battle it was time it was gone.

"Roll us 25 degrees and turn us 30 degrees to starboard to bring all available guns to bare on that Ion Cannon Cruiser. Inform the Raging Night Hammer we will be doing so and that they should continue to attack that pitiful excuse for an ISD that TCS calls Destruction."

The Zealous Mist rolled and rotated 30 degrees and started firing all weapons on the Ion Cannon Cruiser. The shields fell quickly partially due to the pounding they had received from the TIE bombers. Turbolaser blasts played all over the Ion Cannon Cruisers hull and breaches started to open in the hull.

"Concentrate all fire on the center axis of the ship." Siather ordered.

The gunners aimed for the center most point of the ship pounding through it room by room, bulkhead by bulkhead. The Avarice split in half.

"Roll us back, rotate us 210 degrees and resume firing on the Destruction."

The Zealous Mist started moving back into optimal firing position......

Hawk watched the battle developments closely.

<!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Interesing move,Zealous Mist<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->..

"Have both of our ships open fire on the <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Destruction<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->.Full power"

He watched carefully as his ships concentrated all their weapons on the TCS ships.

His eyes narrowed excitedly as the whines of the <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Destruction<!--EZCODE ITALIC END--> was even heard without the use of excessive sensors. The second dome had gone up in smoke and already the <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Executor<!--EZCODE ITALIC END--> looking Star Destroyer began wavering and falling out of place. Its laser fire had nearly stopped and the hull was beginning to crack.

"OK here we go, get ready," the emperor slowly mused, running his hands excitedly against the durasteel rail bar near the viewport of the <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Hell Bringer<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->. Small explosions slowly creeped up on particles around the gigantic mass, and it took a dip, similar to the way Fearsons' dreadnaught had.

It was a few more tense moments of what seemed to be utter silence as the last two green turbo lasers escaped their cannons, speeding toward the <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Destruction<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->. Fearsons mouthed his excitement but none could hear it as it seemed the two fiery beams of light sored toward the giant warship. Then, they connected, smack in the middle of the entire suprastructure.

First the top half began splitting off from the framework, spinning out of control toward the great beyond. More pieces escaped the hangar bay until finally a seering explosion shroomed from top to bottom, leaving a tense trail of fire, similar to that of the <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Devastator<!--EZCODE ITALIC END--> at the Battle of Endor.

The emperor's eyes went wide as he watched, using all his willpower to refrain from leaping in joy. The most significant ship in the Chimeran arsenal had just been completely disintegrated, and was now veering out of control.

"Intensify the forward fire power, hit the bridge, full force!" the excentric man ordered, seeing as the war was about to be brought to a halt.

"Sir we're taking heavy damage from the Shadow Droids!" the captain responded with an obvious wince. Several laser blasts began hitting the balled shield generators, but the turbo laser and laser batteries in combination began hitting the tiny droid fighters left and right.

"Doesn't matter, keep hitting...hit the <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Lusankya<!--EZCODE ITALIC END--> at once!"

"Yes sir!"

The <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Hell Bringer<!--EZCODE ITALIC END--> and <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Disruptor<!--EZCODE ITALIC END--> made a quick side turn to face the other Star Destroyer, who turned and began a quick retreat, trying desperately to avoid the emperor's wrath.

More turbo lasers smeered the gracious black space, a large percentage from them from the <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Raging Night Hammer<!--EZCODE ITALIC END--> that finished off the bridge to the <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Destruction<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->. A convenient sound echoed through the Rogue Imperial battleships that teased Fearsons' delightivity, telling him the war was finally over.

"AAARRRRRG!" came Joe's familiar voice as the bridge went up in flames, making the Executor like Star Destroyer now appear to be nothing more than a flaming hunk of debris.

"Ok move away from the infrastructure, move move move!" Siather knew Fearsons was mentioning that the impending shockwave was going to be quite deadly.

The ships hit full speed, trying to escape the potential wave of energy...which came in a seering explosion, damaging several shields from all parties in the Rogue Imperial arsenal. The <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Lusankya<!--EZCODE ITALIC END--> had made it past the set of war ships...but the <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Red Dog<!--EZCODE ITALIC END--> was waiting for them, having already locked with their deadly Angel Missiles and launching an unrelenting force of missiles at the fleeing mockery of a Super Star Destroyer.

They did indeed hit, but the virus could not spread fast enough as the desperate captain took a last ditch attempt at the hyperdrive, fleeing into "hyperspace". But the abolishers cured that attempt...and the spinning engine of the <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Lusankya<!--EZCODE ITALIC END--> was all that remained.

Fearsons let out a brief sigh as all the shadow droids suddenly stopped and began floating aimlessly into space. He smiled as he relieved himself to his command chair, activating the comm link. The war was over, finally. He was going to have to contact Despayre and prepare a party.

IG 88 and IG 99 destroyed ten more Shadow Droids and the ion cannoned ships. Then they flew up to the Disruptor.
"We request permission to come onboard and collect our bounty for destroying TCS ships. We destroyed one Raider two TIE Defenders and eleven Shadow Droids."

Hawk decided that his presence was no longer required.

"Retreat"

"Sir?"

"You heard me,helmsman.Retreat."

The two helsmen looked at each other and turned back to their controls.

The two <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Defender<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->-class SDs came about and went full speed to the edge of the Abolisher Hyperspace bubble Range.
