Darami had a difficult life. Difficult was an understatement. Darami was a man with ancient beliefs and practices that were old and discredited therefore he wasn't respected. People bullied and attacked him on a daily basis, he was humiliated in the streets. Often, he fled from planets seeking the refuge of that planet's population but it seemed to Darami that there was no place that he could call home.
He had been living on a small planet called Xionti in the Kashyyyk system, he had hoped that this planet would be different from the many planets that had caused him to flee for his life but seemingly, Xionti's people were no different and he was bullied into fleeing.
Darami often wished that he could go back to his days as a young adult, when he had so foolishly discarded the heritage and honour that he coud've inherited from his parents. Instead, he had decided to live a life of diplomacy and democracy because the honour and heritage that he would've inherited was shameful and wrong.
Since he had fled from Xionti, Darami had desired to flee to Naboo, his home planet. Yet he felt a strange feeling that told him not to go to Naboo. His feelings were not at the greatest level at that time and he decided to ignore the feelings.
He travelled to Naboo on the ship that his parents had owned before they had died a few years ago. He wondered why his parents had given him so much of their fortune when he had so blatantly went against their instructions. This was a question yet to be answered.

As Darami's ship landed on the clearing close to the river city, Darami had a sudden flow of emotion burst through him. Hatred, guilt and shame suddenly surged through his veins as he struggled to control the emotion. The beauty and serenity of Naboo was not enough to calm the dangerous emotions that were usually so quiet.
Darami decided that it would be best to meditate to control his emotion, and as he sat in his unique Laite stance, the energy that the emotion created was chanelled into positive energy. He felt strong and willed, determined to win over the respect of the Naboo. As the minutes drew by and the emotion was calmed and controlled, Darami suddenly felt the true beauty of Naboo.
The river cities were lit by the overlooking stars, with the streetlamps producing a welcoming glow to all who visited. The tranquility and silence enhanced the awe inspiring effect that Naboo had upon this place. After the difficult times that Darami had, he was appreciative of such beauty and calmness.
Darami was yet to even step out of his ship and already there was a sense that he would feel more welcome here than he had done in so many of the planets he had visited. Peace and safety was not a virtue here, simply a right. The Naboo knew how to inspire and as Darami stepped outside onto the green grass of the rolling hills that led to the capital city, Darami felt a sense of pride and determination.
Darami walked along the hills barefoot, feeling the grass sweep under his feet as he walked along the rushing river. Before him stood the capital city of Naboo in all it's beauty. The buildings built with perfection and pride, the streets lit with a harmonic glow and the night above the city set the perfect scene. Darami decided that it would be best to sleep in his ship tonight but as he walked back towards the ship, he felt a compulsive urge to sleep on the grass close to his ship. Perhaps it was the beauty and tranquility that so many before had witnessed that compelled him to sleep under the silent stars.

As Darami awoke to the serene beauty around him, the sounds of people surrounded him, disturbing the peace that he had been filled with in his dreams. Perhaps coming to Naboo was not such a great idea, Darami thought. As he sat up to look upon the faces of the crowd, he saw that these people had no anger nor hatred in their eyes or their face. This was confusing, why would people crowd around me if not to attack me? Darami thought as he searched for signs of fury and rage deep within the eyes of the people. He found none.
A young man walked forward towards Darami and suddenly Darami pulled away from the crowd, in fear of the young man though there were no signs of darkness that could be seen. Darami was perplexed as he crawled to the safety of his ship.
"Good Sir, please do not fear us. We wish to know why you sleep on the grass when you have such a lavish home in our capital city. Can you answer this question?" The young man asked.
Darami was confused, how did they know that I had a home in the city? Darami searched through his mind, looking through faces in his mind to find out who this man was. No faces came to mind. Instead, Darami decided that it would be best to stand to meet the eyes of the man. It took some time for Darami to force himself up, Darami's muscles were asleep though his mind was awake. Pain surged through his body as he struggled to stand.
"How is that you know I own a home in the city? I have not visited this place in many years. I am confused and I would like for you to answer my question before I answer yours. Why is that you crowd around me as if to attack me, though you have no hatred nor rage within the depths of your eyes?" Darami asked the young man. He walked towards me and propped me against his body and Darami realised that this man was kindhearted and must've known him in some way.
"We knew your parents for many years. They talked about you for many years and the day that they died, they wished for us to give you this. We recognised the ship as we walked alongside the riverside and we wished to give you what your parents desired for you to be given." The young man gave Darami a scroll which was bound with a red seal and blue ribbon, the trademark of his parent's work. He took the letter and placed it into his pocket.
"Now, good Sir, I pray that you answer our question. Why do you not sleep in the home that you have been given?" The young man gently asked, finding it difficult to control the curiousity that filled him.
"I have no answer to your question. I do not know myself as to why I refuse to sleep in the home that I have been given. Perhaps it is because I do not deserve the home that I have been given, perhaps it is because I am a man with values, and I refuse to sleep in a place of corruption, greed and secrecy. Does this answer your question?" Darami told the crowd in a loud voice so that all could hear his words.
The crowd were taken back by the answer that Darami gave them. Many of the Naboo had hidden from the true depth of the corruption and greed that filled the people and their homes. He grabbed the young man's arm and removed it. Darami felt ready to travel to my home but first he had to collect a few items and read the letter that the man had given him.
"Kind people, I ask that you would leave this place as I need to collect my thoughts. I would also like to have some peace. If you would be so kind as to go back to your business, I would be much appreciative." Darami told the crowd and they walked away from my ship.
Darami sat at the controls of the ship, pondering whether it was right to leave this place. The letter was on the front of the controls, and Darami was scared to read it...

Dear Darami,
For many years, you have ignored the truth that lies within your soul. You have discarded the honour and pride that so many of the Naboo desire. You are the son that we have dreamed of. You have independence and morals, virtues which few people have.
As I sit here and write this letter, I know that with every feeble attempt to write the emotion that I feel, I grow weaker and closer to death. I ask myself, why did I not allow my son to be free when he was a child? You were a captive in your own home, forced to live a life of corruption and lies but still you realized the truth. The truth that the people of Naboo are frauds.
The people of Naboo are corrupt and greedy for the power that lay within their souls. The peace and freedom that they have is taken for granted, yet still the Naboo want more. How can it be that such peaceful people can be so corrupt you may ask. I shall tell you, because the planet that you have lived on is a deceitful place.
I ask you to do only one thing. To never fall to the path that so many people have fallen, the path that leads people to search for what they already have. If you can do this my son, I will truly rest in peace.
Forever loving,
Mother and Father
Darami's hand was trembling as he read over the letter, reading the letter once again until he realized that the words of his mother and father were true. That is why he had fled from Naboo many years ago, because he had realized the truth.
His mind was a colossus of thoughts, his soul was a pool of emotion and Darami knew that no meditation or rest would make the feelings and thoughts that he had go away. He had to solve the problems of his life through amendment and forgiveness.
Darami stepped out of his ship and walked over the bridge that connected the beautiful, scenic landscapes that were truly inspiring and relaxing to the great cities of Naboo, where a world of corruption and greed would unfold before his eyes. Darami walked to the side of the bridge, resting on the bridge and looking down towards the rushing rivers below. He had to control his emotions before he could travel to the home that he now owned.
Rushes of people passed him as he looked into the distance, searching for an answer to his many thoughts. He was given curious looks by some, though most were too involved upon their own actions to see Darami's tears fall into the water below. Darami took a final deep breath, wiped his eyes with a hankerchief and walked towards the city.
His house was close to the former Queen Amidila's home, which meant something because the homes around that area were extremely expensive. Darami walked the streets, taking care to not meet the eyes of the Naboo whilst walking a familiar route to his own home. As he drew closer to his home, the shame and guilt became heavier upon his shoulders.
After several minutes of walking in silence through the bustle of people and stalls, he soon came to his home. There, stood before him was a huge home built with such craftsmanship not seen on other planets, the home was built with pride and beauty, the architecture crafted so perfectly that if any were to see this home, they would believe the occupants to be royalty.
He opened the door to his home and stood behind the door was a man whom Darami did not recognize. Darami was stunned and waited for a response from the man.

Darami collapsed before the man in utter shock. His home had been invaded by a man whom he did not know and he felt rather insecure and invaded by this. The emotion that had surged through his body in the recent days decided that it would take it's effect upon him now.
As Darami rose to a seated position, he knew that he had been knocked unconscious, though it was most likely because of the pain and emotion that Darami was feeling. The man that had stood before him moments before Darami's collapse had disappeared and Darami, in a strange sense, felt pleased that he had left.
Darami rose to his feet and decided that action must be taken. He had to solve his problems in some way, though his path was unknown to him. It seemed strange to him that a man would present himself in his own home, though Darami quickly, like many other thoughts and emotions, sent it to the back of his mind. Darami had more urgent problems to attend to.
As Darami sat at his Father's desk, wondering what do to do, he felt the presence of his Mother and his Father overlooking him from the Heavens, if there was such a place. What was Darami's purpose in life? He had so many choices. Darami could lead the life that he had been living for so many years, he could join the famously known VindaCorp, or he could hope that some day, he would be trained by a Jedi Master.
His ambitions were a mix inside of his head, and he wondered whether he would ever find an answer to the question...What is the path that Darami must take?
