Kamon had been on the Starfire when the asteroid had been spotted. He had given Grand Admiral Kev Say permission to destroy the asteroid. Now, its pieces were being picked up by small traders and taken to the planet. When the asteroid had first been spotted, he had ordered the tactical officer to find out where it had come from. The Officer approached Kamon and saluted.
"At ease," Kamon said. "What have you found out?"
"Well, sir, it came from the planet Metak. It apparently had been blasted out of orbit in our direction."
"What species inhabits the planet?"
"I believe they are call Sklatniers, sir."
"Very well. Gather the fleet. The safety of our people is at stake."
"Yes, sir." The Officer said. The officer told Grand Admiral Say of this and returned to his position. He awaited the Grand Admiral's word.

The fleet was gathered in orbit over the planet, not a large fleet in the scheme of things, but enough for their people to feel protected and secure. On the bridge he approached GA Kev.
"Hello Grand Admiral, You have been given orders to remain planetside in defense of our forces back home, Im in control of this mission now, under command of his highness anyway.""Aye sir, understood, and I will be recieving verification of this..""Fairly soon, dont worry""Aye""Helmsman, set course for Sklatniers, jump to hyperspace on my command"

Grand Admiral Say left the ship for the planet. Kamon watched as the fleet jumped to hyperspace. He left his quarters and walked up the hall. He entered the turbolift and shot up to the bridge. He entered and walked over to Grand Admiral Raktus.
"Grand Admiral, a word."
"Yes, sir."
"When we get to Metak I don't want the fleet grouped together. I want them spread out over the planet. That way they can't pick us apart with there plasma blasts. I want to start with bombardment. That way we will eliminate surface threats. Then we will send in the troops. They will finish the job." He paused to catch his breath.

He listend intently, and as he finished he bowed his head so that he reached down just below his chin"Yes my prince"

"Very good. Call me when we reach the planet. I will be in my room meditating." He walked back to his room. After undressing, he took a shower, and flopped down into bed. This would be another long trip.

:: Supreme Commander Isstal had been relaxing in his office on Byss when the Prince's alerts had come in. The Tholatin Republic's fleet was en-route to a small planet, and they wanted Isstal's support. He shook his head and called on his first officer. ::
"Captain, prepare my ship for immediate departure. I will be flying with a full compliment of bridge personal."
"As ordered, Supreme Commander. Your ship will be ready soon."
:: Isstal sighed and left the office. It looked as if this vacation wouldn't be as relaxing as he had planned... ::

[i]He waved the captain up and out of the command chair, which he immediatly did, taking up position behind and to the rear of, as Raktus sat back, putting a boot up on the leg and arching his arm over his knee cap. He stared out as hyperspace passed them by, wasnt good for ones appitite, all those moving stars, woo buddy. It was still just a day's travel to the planet, but the fleet had already veered off in hyperspace, their vectors being plotted by the main vessels computer tracking systems. The main attack ships had slowed down a bit as to allow the slower ships to be able to emerge from hyperspace on the other side of the planet at the same time the main fleet emerged on the relevant side.

[i]He had studied the computers databanks on the planet, it was a harsh planet, not very subtable for life. Sure, it had a good atmosphere, but it held little in the way of water or vegatation, hell even the mineral deposits were few and far between unless you got into a good deep drillin project.
Entering the system wouldnt be a problem, the only difficulties shoul be the appearance of the enemy plasma waepons, their only defense against space born attack. Powerful blast of Plasma, carrying enough force to take down a cruisers shields in one blow. A defense not to sneeze at.
The fleet emerged from hyperspace outside thew system, to be sure they would have time to prepare, soon the battle would begin...

Kamon woke up to a message that the ship had come out of hyperspace. He got up and went over to the refresher station. After dressing in his Jedi robe he shot up to the bridge. Walking over to the Grand Admiral, his mind shifted to tactician thinking.
"Is everything in order? Oh, and we should be receiving some support. So, be awares."

:: Isstal, decked out in full military uniform, nodded. ::
Everything is on-line. We're ready to begin on your command, highness.
