Dark Tides Meet. (Duel, Janus v Silus Round 2)

Janus did a high jumping backflip, over and about 2 feet behind the boulders. They smashed, and Janus held out both his hands, palms outward, catching the rocks with the force. There were now about 20 fairly nice sized and sharp projectiles. He sent these flying at his oponent at an amazing speed.

Silus quickly pulled another boulder in front of him with the force, positioning it in between himself and the rocks flying towards him. As the dust settled Silus was sitting on top of the rock, merely resting.

"Good, good, Janus. Though, again, I admit I am unimpressed."

Silus smiled as he began focusing on Janus' heart. Within a few seconds, it began to quicken rapidly. Silus stopped focusing, only meaning to annoy.

Janus was unphased. It was obvious this so called sith was no real fighter, not even worth his time. All he was doing was trying to anger Janus, which wasn't working. So Janus set about to finish this quickly.

Janus concentrated on Silus' blood. He lowered the temperature of it to about -20 degrees, freezing it completely. This froze Silus, making him practically unable to move. He let go of his hold and the blood started to thaw, causing large junks of sharp ice to be running through his blood stream. Silus was doubled over from the pain of it.

Janus laughed maniacally as he set the rest of his plan into effect. He opened him mind completely to the force, and set about his plan for Silus' defeat. As Silus fell to his knees from the pain, Janus put forth his right hand, palm down, all fingers outstretched toward Silus. From them emerged lightning, black as night racing toward Silus' pain wracked form.

Silus tasted in his mouth, and he laughed. Twice Janus had done that to him, and twice to the same effect. Silus looked up in time to see the lightning raising to him.

He leaped to the side, as the black lightning struck the rock behind him, shattering it into pieces. Silus stood up, frowning at Janus.

This should be tricky....

Focusing on the air around Janus, Silus soon sped it up, increasing the speed of everything within it. Soon, the temperature began to increase, rising rapidly. Beads of sweat began to drip down Silus' forehead as he continued to focus, increasing the speed. Soon, Janus' hair caught on fire, followed soon by his clothes. Silus laughed as fires began sprouting all over Janus' body.

Janus took about 4 steps forward and was out of the hot zone. Using the force he quickly put out his hair, and threw his burning cloak aside.

"Rather unfortunate, that was my favorite cloak."

The cloak landed in the lake, where it was quickly put out.

"Now onward with buisness."

Janus concentrate on the force once more, this time all around his opponent. He made the molecules of his opponents body way 5 times as much, so to him it seemed as if gravity had increased 5 fold. In a matter of moments he was smashed to the ground, and Janus again brought up his right hand. From it again came the black lightning.

Silus continued focusing on the air around Janus, knowing he had only a matter of seconds. Except, this time, he slowed everything down, and soon Janus' outstretched hand was frozen.

Silus felt the immense pain of the black lightning as it struck him. Focusing, he used that pain to his advantage. Soon, he sped the molecules of Janus's clothes up. They soon began to grow hot, until they burst into flames.

With his concentration broken, Silus was able to slowly get up. Using what strength he could gather, he ran into the rain forest part of the arena. He hid his force signature, and himself, using what time he could to rest. His last attack had drained him.

What the young Sith had failed to realize, was that the lightning was not the average sith lightning. Quite to the contrary, this was a different lightning, whom's complete purpose was for destruction. They were similar to the black gaze, having the same properties, but Janus found he had better aim with his hands than his eyes. The lightning had struck and now it was sloughing away the skin and muscle of Silus' body where it had struck. Silus would soon be completely immobolized by the pain, and would have to come to Janus, to ask him to heal him, before he was in to much pain to continue his life.

(OOC: This is a move, known as the black gaze. Here is the info behind it. I have used it before, but that was in a thread long ago, that I dropped out of rather quickly, so it may not be known, and will take sometime tofind, if they didn't follow my advice to just delete it.:

The Black Gaze: When cast bolts of pure dark magic leap from the necromancer's eyes. Where the beams touch the victim's flesh his skin blackens and withers, sloughing away until gleam of bone is visible beneath! The power has a rang of about 35 meters. It is usually fatal it will usually kill anyone weaker than the caster (of lower rank), the more powerful the victim is the more likely he is to survive, but anyone surviving this spell will be disabled by intense pain for a long period of time (it's even more painful than being struck by force lighting).

Notice I did not say it killed Silus, as we are both the same level, though I am stronger, death is not allowed without permission, and I concede, as of right now, my strength is only marginally greater than his.)

(IC:) About this time, Janus realized he was on fire. This may pose a problem... he thought. So he as quickly as he possibly could muster ran to the part of the colloseum containing the lake, and jumped in. He covered his body in the water putting out the flames, though he was pretty badly burned. He sat on the ground, in his tattered clothing, he head barely above water, and started concentrating on his healing processes, Silus, on the other hand, wouldn't be so lucky.

Two vines leaped out of the jungle ahead of Janus, wrapping around his neck and dragging him out of the water. He was slammed against a tree with a thud. More vines then shot down from the tree and began to wrap around him, tying him to the tree and soon crushing him. Silus continued walking, sending two more vines out to wrap around Janus's arms, and then his legs, holding them outstretched.

"That was a very dirty trick you played on me. Now, perhaps you know the way I can...stop this...or, perhaps you don't. But, you will have to tell me, if you want to save your own life."

Silus lifted his hand, making the vines tighten.

Suddenly Silus screamed out as more flesh fell from the wound. It hadn't only fell, it felt like it was ripped, Silus lost his hold on the vines.

"I am surprised that you can sufficiently ignore the pain, but you won't be able to for long, your body will continue to deteriorate, until you start putting your concentration, all of it, into healing yourself, since you can't do that in my presense, and it will take months to heal, I would suggest you give in."

Janus concentrated on Silus' wound, and another large junk of his skin was ripped out, but Janus' control of the force.

"Do what you will, but I still have sufficient strength and mental capacity to fight you off until you faint from the pain. I will then kill you, simple is it not? I suggest you give up and leave, or I will have to destory you."

Silus fell to his knees, holding his side. Beads of sweat poured down his head as he took large breaths. The pain was immense.

Silus gave a roar as he focused this pain and anger, pinning Janus into the tree again. He then contolled another vine, sending it piercing through Janus' left arm. He then caused the vines to tighten, threatening to crush Janus.

"I...will not...give in...not...to you." He breathed, tightening the vines even more.
