Sedriss Sadow sat with a sickly stare on his visage, radiating power and pure darkness. The volatile sith hailed from the planet Balmorra, long known for their advanced weaponry products. Earlier in life he was a disciple of Lord Brakiss at the now dead Shadow Academy and later the Dark Sith Order. The memories left a bitter taste in his mouth but the wounds had begun to heal, after he had given in totally to the dark knowledge taught to him.

His ice blue eyes met the stare of the sith in front of him, refusing to bow but offering no sign of disrespect. The two had met on Khar Delba, the former sanctuary of the great Naga Sadow, Sedriss's forefather. Initially the tension was unbearable as the Dark Circle ridiculed and challenged Sedriss's claim, yet he had convinced them to test him, offering them hope for the future.

The massive sith knew they doubted him but through extensive research in the galactic regisitry and the knowledge of the Holocron on Khar Delba, he had learned the story of his family.

Naga Sadow himself did not have children, opting instead for power and death, hellbent on opposing any who crossed him. However he did have a sister, Nashira Sadow, who took refuge on Khar Shian, the dark moon of Khar Delba. When the jedi attempted to purge Naga from the universe, she and her children fled to Yavin VI, safe and hidden, ready to begin a new life.

Events must have changed for her name reappeared in the galactic registry much later, claiming to be a citizen of Balmorra. Sedriss had then traced the name to his family. For weeks he would not believe it, unable to fathom what he was given, desperate to prove he was the heir to the Dark Lord iof the Sith.

Balmorra was known for collecting DNA samples of all its citizens, compiling a comprehensive history for citizens and scholars to acces. Using his influence, Sedriss had his DNA tested with that of the family in question, hoping to prove that the names were not a coincidence. The result was a undeniable, a 100 percent DNA match.

His life changed, forging him in the mold of Naga, prompting him to search for Khar Delba, hoping to claim what was rightfully his and earning respect for the Sadow name again. Then the Dark Circle Triumvirate had came, requesting he come to Gahgrin to ascertain the veracity of his origins.

His train of thought was snapped by his guides dark voice, dripping with skepticism but laced with a bit of hope.

Are you ready to prove your worth Sedriss?

Sedriss stood in the cockpit, emphasizing his massive 6'8 frame. His body was adorned in the finest black silk robe, trimmed in gold, with an ancient sith language written on it.

His hands were covered with cortosis guantlets, while his chest had chainmail of the same metal. His head was covered in a helmet, exactly as Naga Sadow had worn, lending him the appearance of a long dead Dark Lord of the Sith.

I am ready. The Heir of Sadow will crush any pretender to what is rightfully mine. I wonder if the Dark Circle is ready to allow me the honor of purging this galaxy of infidels.

Sitting back in his seat, he focused on the task ahead, seething with a rage which coursed through his veins, the same blood which flowed in Naga Sadow.

Lord Dravin Thane sat quietly within the Chiss's private transport, just to the side of the alien and his old friend, Sedriss. The hood attached onto his cloak shadowed his face from their view, making his facial figures somewhat anonymous.

His organic armor tightened slightly, then relaxed against his body, which often occured when it was close to powerful Force energies, such as those of the three Sith. The armor was modeled after the vondum crab armor the Yuuzhan Vong grew for their warriors. It was displaced in the Force, which made it invisible to those who used the Force, yet it was telepathically connected to Dravin's mind.

The armor tensed just a little, then it silently extended it's liquid-like coverings around his head and sealed itself. Dravin could still breathe, but no molecules could enter the air-tight seal, instead he got oxygen from the armor, which took in carbon dioxide and respired oxygen.

Glancing over to his old friend, Sedriss, he smiled a little. Sedriss was descended from the ancient Dark Lords like himself, though Sedriss came from the Sadow family, and Dravin came from the Ragnos family. Though his friend kept secret that Dravin descended from another Dark Lord, he didn't like the idea of his past coming to light.

Most of his life was spent in suspended animation, a timeless tomb the Jedi Order placed him in once he was captured after he raged war with them. It was a bloody war, fueled by vengeance at the death of his family, yet the Jedi decided not to kill the Sith Lord. A poor choice it was on their part, but one that granted Dravin a future, no matter how distant it was.

After escaping and wandering the galaxy, the lone Sith Lord finally came to Gahgrin with his old friend he had ran into on Balmorra. The two knew each other earlier from Korriban when they came to follow Maim when he took a new physical form, but left disappointed.

When they had set foot on Gahgrin, on the request of the Dark Circle Triumvirate, Dravin immediately kept himself shadowed under his cloak. The Massassi Warriors kept a close watch on him during his stay, and an even closer watch when they heard his name. No doubt they knew the meaning of his name, which was a mix of ancient Sith and Basic tongues that translated into 'Dark Lord'. It was a name he carried proudly, in private and in view of those who knew what it meant, which were few.

Dravin could sense the Massassi didn't think the Sith Lord was a capable fighter as Sedriss's massive form was, but they were mistaken. When he turned dark, Dravin underwent various alchemical alterations that boosted reflexes, strength, dexterity, endurance, and many other qualities. Yet still, his skill in dozens of martial arts and lightsaber techniques could devestate even a Jedi Knight.

He drifted from his thoughts and back to the situation at hand, in which the Chiss and Sedriss were discussing the matter of purging the infidels from the galaxy, which was rightfully their's to cleanse.

Floating on the side of the Chiss's private ship, was a lone lambda shuttle. Otherwise known as Goul. Malice's personal ship. Not to long before Sedriss had left with Velil, Malice had gotten word of this little test they were about to do. The sith master decided to join them and see for himself if Sedriss could prove to be a dark lord of the sith.

Malice sat back in the shuttle, letting a personal slave droid pilot. He and Sedriss had never really gotten along from the first day they had met. It was a wonder how they ever got together and formed a new breed of sith. After finding out he was heir to Naga Sadow, that only seemed to fuel the fued between the two.

However, times were changing. And should the two wish for there group to survive and crush all opposition, they would have to find a way to get along. Maybe him becoming dark lord of the sith was just the way to do it.

The planet seemed to be totally enveloped in the darkside of the force, almost located at the epicenter of a swirling Maelstrom of despair and hate. The atmosphere was stifling, as if the long dead spirits of the dark lords had arrived, choking and smothering the horizon with their eternal darkness.

Long flowing black robes trailed Sedriss Sadow, as the cool Gahgrin breeze chilled his already sadistic face. He walked with a cold and silent purpose, splitting the sea of Massassi slaves who had come to see the one who claimed the title of Dark Lord. He could hear whispers of ancient words rolling off their tongue, as if resurrecting a long dead prophecy, willing it to be reborn.

Naga Sadow, they mumbled, obviously taken aback by the unnerving appearance of Sedriss, who was identiacl in every way to the long dead lord. Time seemed to revert back to a day 5000 years ago, when Naga ruled this race with harshness and pain.

A brave and noble warrior approached him, kneeling in respect, slowly reaching for his right hand. The hand was covered in a gauntlet of pure cortosis ore, with Naga Sadow's amulet mounted atop of it, emphasizing the connection between the two, almost bridging the gulf between the milennia. The beast kissed the powerful symbol, retreating quickly to his place, ever humble and respectful.

Following the procession was Velil XCannoth, Malice Draclau and his hand picked Grand Advisor Dravin Thane. Since their mission on Korriban, in the prescense of Dark Lord Maim, Thane had recognized Sedriss's claim, taking the task of tutoring him in the ways of the ancients, since Thane himself was ageless and from a forgotten era.

They drew closer to the chambers of the Triumvirate, a massive structure patterned after the ancient ziggurats on Korriban, looming and menacing, threatening to engulf all in its power. Turning to his Grand Advisor he spoke, the words dripping like the blood of the ancients.

Before us lies the destiny we have envisioned since Korriban, a dream Maim could not see, for his eyes are that of a deceiver, failing to grasp the darkside in all its glory. I do not know what awaits me but when i return, I will have claimed that which rightfully belongs to me.

Following Velil into the chambers, he narrowed his sick eyes, ready to prove his blood is genuine.

The jungle world of Gahgrin was a unfamiliar sight to the Grand Advisor's eyes, which had saw a great many things during his long lifetime. He had heard rumors of a hidden planet that the Triumvirate stole away to, but the rumors were never confirmed. Gahgrin reminded him of the tropical world of Kl'ar Sha, a planet in which he visited several times when he was young and new to the Sith way, but that was so long ago, when the Sith Empire and the Jedi Knights waged open war upon each other.

Dravin's mind seemed to return to that day when he first stepped foot on Kl'ar Sha with Lord Sol-Tour, who lead one of the Sith sects against the Republic at that time. Lord Sol-Tour was a powerful Sith Lord and servant to Thane's grandfather, who was a descendent of the Dark Lord Marka Ragnos.

Sol-Tour brought Dravin to the tropical world in order to see his grandfather, and bring him word of the battlefront. Much like today, the Massassi slaves had amassed around their shuttle which arrived from orbit. The Sith Lord and the young Thane had walked a similiar path they did today, through the sea of Massassi and to a large ziggurat that served as his grandfather's citadel.

That was long ago, in an age that was forgotten by those who lived their lives today. Only this day mattered, in which a new Dark Lord would arise and take command of the Sith. He knew his old friend, Sedriss, would lead the Sith with honor and protect their empire as the Dark Lords that came after Bane did, even when it was reduced only down to two.

As Sedriss spoke to him, he only gave him a deep bow that signaled both respect and acknowledgment. Indeed his old friend would return with the title of Dark Lord, one he rightfully deserved as much as Thane did, who was another heir to a long dead Dark Lord; but, Dravin did not want the title, he only wished to remain in the shadows and push the Sith ever further to their destiny, which was, to cover the galaxy in a shadow of darkness.

Torches bathed the hallway in a sinister glow of blood red and a brilliant orange, a sight Sedriss knew had been visualized by the lords of old; Simus, Ragnos, Kresh, Sadow and Bane. Their dark aura seemed to stain the very walls of the long hallway, creating a sinister effect, which unnerved many.

The procession was led by Vakhar Azkarel and Velil XCannoth, the reigning members of the triumvirate, as well as two sinister looking and pale white Sith Priests. Their sect had served the Triumvirate for all the ages, determining the fate and the succession of the Dark Lord of the Sith. The chamber was spacious, having a tainted smell of rotten flesh, a remnant of the age of the fabled hall.

The lead priest approached Sedriss with caution, carefully examining the amulet on his right hand, scrutinizing for forgery and ever watchful for deceit. The priest nodded, indicating that the heir to Sadow should test it, allowing them to observe. A tall and proud Massasi warrior stood 10 feet away, back straight, pride burning in his animalistic eyes.

To this warrior, it was an honor to die in the service of the Dark lords, a legend that would be passed through his familys history. Sedriss pointed his hand toward the beast, summoning the darkness that swirled inside him, slowly building it to a dark crsecendo, focusing it to the amulet, which would then unleash it ten fold.

A stream of blue black lightning steamed from his hand, wrapping the Massassi's body in fire, penetrating his very core, forcing the proud servant to his knee's. Yet Sedriss had other ideas, visualizing the fiery power as cold black ice, freezing each and every cell within. The massassi began to shiver, frost residue forming on his brow, literally freezing from within.

Dropping his hand, he looked at the creature, who now was frozen solid, his features trapped in a final scream of agony and despair. The priests did not comment, speaking softly to themselves, muttering in a dialect strictly used by the priest caste. The second priest, hidden by his cowel, approached Sedriss, brandishing a slim needle, drawing a few milliliters of blood, ushering it quickly to a small work bench with ancient beakers and viles, filled with ghastly green iquid.

The silence hung in the air, for this was a crucial moment. If Sedriss was a pretender, he would be killed by the Dark Circle, yet if he passed, then a new life would be revealed for him. Minutes became hours, almost as if time stood still for the sith order, waiting for the word of the priests.

Throughout Sedriss did not utter a word, realizing his every action was under scrutiny from not just the priest but the Triumvirate as well. He had no wish for conquest or fame, instead choosing to embrace his past, while at the same time learning from its errors.

Naga Sadow was impetious and powerful, ever thirsting for control and death. His claim to greatness had unleashed a devastating civil war, almost to the point of complete fratricide. The jedi coalition had decimated the sith, forcing them to alter their strategies and customs, shrinking back to the shadows from whence they came. The tall man realized that unless one learned from the past, a man no matter how strong, was doomed to repeat it.

This lesson had been learned the hard way many times in the form of Freedon Nadd, Exar Kun and even his forefather, Naga Sadow. Sedriss was an exact duplicate of Naga, with not a single obvious difference, unless you looked into his mind. Here was a calm and confident man who did not shy away from his destiny, instead doing his best to rectify the mistakes of his ancestor.

His reverie was interrupted by the lead priest who slinked silently to the Triumvirate, bowing nobly, before presenting his results. For all to hear, he spoke in basic, never once laying eyes on Sedriss.

My lords, the amulet is genuine, most likely found on the homeworld of Khar Delba, where Naga Sadow lived privately. It is known he made many amulets, in the event he was in dire trouble. If you recall this was during the time he assassinated Ludo Kresh, claiming the title of dark lord of the sith for himself. This is a genuine artifact made by the sith lord himself.

The second priest arrived, hands clasped behind his back. His voice drifting over the air like a sick virus, filling the room with naseau and irritation.

As you know my lords, the dark circle has always chosen the Dark Lord of the Sith, relying on us to determine origin and identity. From the early days of this empire, the sect of Ragnosian priests have catalogued blood from all the dark lords, masters and their relatives, just for this purpose. We have examined DNA, enzymology, and Midichlorian count, carefully comparing it to Naga Sadow and his sister Nashira. In each case Sedriss was a perfect match, even in the amount of midichlorians per cell which Naga possessed.

Sedriss remained impassive, feeling the eyes of the Triumvirate pierce into his soul, for he knew that his claim was true, waiting for the final judgement.

It is our opinion oh mighty overlords that Sedriss Sadow is indeed the direct descendant of the tenth Dark Lord of the Sith, Naga Sadow. He has our blessing for this title, since it is rightfully his to claim

Looking into the eyes of Velil and Vakhar, the leather helm on his head now seemed to stand out, for after the priests ruling, the order of the Dark Lords had arisen. With patience not shown by his forefather, Sedriss waited for the ruling of the Triumvirate.

He stood like a Malevolent god, angry and seething, literally radiating the very darkness which existed in his soul. The words of the triumvirate reverberated in his mind, while he thought silently, calculating and processing a course of action. For now he had only one concern; purging The Spurned from his ancestral homeland of Khar Delba.

For the last ten years, the foolish heretics of The Spurned had taken root in the massive castles of Khar Delba and Khar Shian, raping and pillaging all that it represented. Exploiting the relics of Naga Sadow, the group had begun to flood the universe with legions of dark jedi, abominations which defiled the priviledge and culture of the ancient sith.
The very thought of these beings in his home, sent tendrils of hate coursing through his veins, desperately seeking release, ready and willing to strike all in his path.

The dark sith who stood behind him watched his mood darken, ever respectful of his anger, for above all, these two were the most faithful. He felt the icy presence of the Sith Master Malice Draclau, staring at his back with black and deathly eyes, awaiting the decision of the newly crowned Dark Lord of the Sith.

The battles between the two men had been worthy of the archives of the sith order, spanning years, leaving thousands dead in their destructive struggle. Yet, here on Gahgrin, they stood together, realizing a higher destiny awaited, one filled with dark promise and unfathomable power. Sedriss did not, nor would he ever consider Malice beneath him, for after learning the truth of Sedriss's lineage, the dark demon had taken it upon himself to help prepare him for this day.

Ever quiet and clinging to the shadow stood the newly annointed Grand Advisor. Dravin Thane had defied the sands of time, surviving the destructive jedi-sith conflict long ago. Instead of killing Thane, the jedi put him in a stasis chamber, damning him to eternal rest, yet his darkness survived, allowing him to free himself from his eternal tomb. The two had met on Korriban, in the service of the Dark Lord Maim, diligently working to restore the sith heirarchy to its rightful place. It was there that Sedriss had begun to unravel the secrets of his past, unveiling the darkside's new and horrific vision of the future.

Thane had observed the young sith challenging Maim's authority directly, not for personal power or greed but rather for the overall good of the order. Had Sedriss known then what he knew now, Maim would have been cleansed, erased from the annals of time, for the pretender he was. Now his ancient friend had assumed the mantle of Grand Advisor, teaching Sedriss the true history of the sith, showing him long forgotten techniques, which Naga Sadow himself had used.

His voice dripped with a deadly venom, alerting his two companions of his decision, while he stood facing away from the minions of massassi who had come to pay homage and offer prayer.

The Spurned will suffer cataclysmic annihilation, completely cleansed from Khar Delba. We will sanctify that sacred land, annointing it as our new home, with the sacrifice of their brethren.

Now turning to his fellow sith, he let all see his helmed visage, sending the throngs of slaves into a fevered frenzy. Many believed that Sedriss was the living reincarnation of Naga Sadow himself, brought back to life by the darkside itself. His cruelty resonated, sending the slaves to their knees, begging for his touch.

I must present myself to the Massassi, as every Dark Lord since Simus has done. Thane, you will prepare the fleet for hyperspace, while you Malice, will lead the ground assault, feasting on the blood of the infidels. I myself will handle their pathetic council of heretics.

As his flowing robes billowed gently in the Gahgrin wind, he spoke but to no one in particular, letting his voice boom throught the procession.

The blasphemers of the Spurned will either be converted or they will be purged from this galaxy; soon feeling the might of the Dark Circle, a fate that awaits any who do not conform!
