Edipus Tagge walked along the corridors of the recently installed offices of the Tagge Company on Giju. It was taking time to get into contact with the local officials but it was more than necessary for establishing the next foothold of the Rimma Trade Combine that TaggeCo and Stellar Enterprises were eager to establish. The urge to survive and be successful would keep this alliance of what could have been nasty rivals together and as far as Edipus could see that was what the Union wanted. Its puppet organizations needed to do well so that the Union could work its its quiet, careful way, silently siphoning funds when it needed to and hiding behind any number of aliases. Giju though was to be something very important especially to the Tagge Company. It was a massive spaceport world because the Herglics were masters of trade who had even had a Trade Empire ages ago before the Republic but now all that was left was their own homeworld and the insatiable will of the Herglics to continue trading.

It was a species like this that Edipus wanted in charge at least of the Rimma portion of the Tagge Company. Thus the reason why Edipus' office was currently blocked by a large wall of Herglics hopefuls who wanted to enter into the Tagge Company at such a powerful position as the Director of Rimma
Affairs which would put whoever had that title in charge of all TaggeCo assets within the growing Combine. Now all that was left would be actually pick one with not only enough business savy but was able to manipulate, think ahead, and adapt to situations that might pop up because Edipus had better things to do than kick around the Rimma Trade Route. He needed someone who probably would know the area better anyways. Thus without another word he stepped into his office and called in the first hopeful. It was going to be a very long day.

The air was thick with the smell of fresh paint and microscopic debris. It lingered in the air like a medium that one had to constantly pass through. Pass after pass the medium still hung, as if multiplying every time it lost portions of itself.

For a person so obsessed with cleanliness like Marcca was, it was horror. She was a professional, however, and never let it slip how much she hated the thought of working inside the building. No one could blame her for how she felt. She was not the only one. Not by a long margin.

Everyone working at the newly purchased Stellar Enterprises Branch on Giju had to deal with the hardships of renovation. The building was actually one of the Capital's landmarks and had been constructed over five hundred years earlier. When Rob Stellar had seen the building, he had to have it for his company's Giju Office.

While the outside was breathtakingly stunning, the inside was a direct contrast. Having been unoccupied and unmaintained for over a century, the inside of the building was a catastrophe. It had to be completely renovated and even rebuilt in certain areas before it could be used to house personnel. Artists and craftsman had been brought in from all over Giju to remake the building's interior into a beautiful work of art like the exterior was.

After a month of hard labor, the building was coming close to completion and opening to the public. Personnel were already starting to be brought in a little too early and now all had to deal with the finishing of the renovation project.

Marcca had to admit, the areas that were fully complete, were indeed beautiful. Everything was organic and flowing, making the environment extremely relaxing. She hoped it would all be completed soon and they could start enjoying the building in its entirety.

These thoughts of herself, however, were only luxuries as most of the others in her mind had to do with the work she was brought in to do. Stellar Enterprises, along with Tagge Co. were very interested in the planet, but for different interests.

With the recent expansion on Belgaroth, Stellar Enterprises wished to use the massive manufacturing facilities already in place on Giju. Instead of spending countless credits on building the facilities on Belgaroth itself, the scrap could simply be transported the short distance to this planet and processed here. Not only processed, though, but also used to create many other products that could be exported whole.

This was Marcca's task on the planet. She would have to make agreements with the Giju governing body for permission to use it as a manufacturing base. Once that was established, Marcca could then begin negotiating with the different manufacturing facilities that dotted the planet. It would be these facilities that would turn most of Belgaroth's scrap, into fresh credits for both Stellar Enterprises and Tagge Co.
