"Gentlement, three days ago we intercepted a transmission from the planet Tirsa encoded, but not very well, to the Hapan Naval command. The transmission speaks of several weapon's shipments from the planet's industrial sectors under the order of our enemies within the cluster.

We plan to arrive at Tirsa, and intercept these weapons shipments before anyone else does. We are the only group of Hapan ships close to the system, so we have the advantage of being able to get in there and get out before the real customers arrive.

The message also supplies us with contact and clearence codes in which to gain access to the storage facilites, once there we must work quickly, if we are to make it out in time.

............

Three days later: Tirsa Orbit

The Hapan vessels pulled themselves out of Lightspeed and brought themselves to a shuddering standstill over the world of Tirsa. The world itself was a bustling industrial metropalis, covered with innurable companies each creating a spectrum of goods. The intercepted transmission had came from a Tirsa Wargear Armaments Corporation, one of the largest on the planet, and had provided the necessary landing codes in which to gain access to thier quarry.

On wings of hurried impatience the various shuttles and transport craft sped towards the surface, each transmitting the stolen codes towards the corporation's landing authority.
Touching down, the crews moved onto the enormous cargo containers holding a bountiful supply of weapons. A cache this size would surely sway any conflict in thier favour from now on. Blasters, turbolasers, photonic grenades . . .all kinds of device lay beyond the huge bay doors which slowly eased open, the light of the Tirsan sun creeping through.

However, the crewmen were greeted with the shock of something they had not expected. The containers were empty. To thier horror, not one gun or explosive lay on the floor.

The lead crewman fumbled with his comlink, as he scrambled to radio back to the ship. "This is crewman Groth . . .sir, you're not gonna believe this . . .but . . . we've been beaten to it."

"What!?"

Three weeks prior:

"President Pike...?"

He'd been reclining behind his desk when the news came. It had been Beffs hope that he could get a moments peace and quiet but, of course, he doubted such an eventuality. Important people never truely get to rest.

The reply was curt and short, Beff hardly even turned to glance at the aide who'd requested his attention. This was his usual manner, naturally but, something in the aides voice made Beff less then confident in the news.

"What?"

Stuttering, the aide pushed on. A young Bothan with training in intel and recon, he was used to bringing less then uplifting news to his superiors but, never to President Pike directly.

"It is Kil sir. He seems to have followed through with his threat. A number of ships and their crew followed him likewise."

Though barely perceieved, the temperature in the office climbed up a few degrees celcuis.

"Very well. Summon my senior council. This merits direct attention."

-----------------------

Aboard Munition:

"Our escape was unnoticed?"

This was the voice of Kenix Kil, ex-Imperial turned bounty hunter. He'd long ago fallen in with Pike and Fett sensing that working with the pair would bring him wealth beyond his dreams. It was unfortunate, however; that Kil could not be paitent. Kil was the sort of man who, seeing and opportunity, would grab it and think on the repercussions later.

So, when he'd seen his chance to make off with a number of the Guilds brand-spaking-new cloakships, he took it. Working swiftly and silently, Kil had managed to convince a large group of mercenaries and hunters to follow him in his coup.

A coup that had gone off without the slightest hitch. Clearly, these cloak-ships had more potential then had yet been recognized. Kil and his men had easily infiltrated the ships before they'd recieved crew assignments, leaving them alone aboard empty and deadly warships. It was true, thought Kil, that things had gone a bit too easily for his tastes. Beff was not a man to fool with and Kil would have to be very careful of his footing from here on in.

For now, however; things were good. Kil had even prepared a little raid to set things off.

-----------------------

Munition, Tirsa:

"Sir, ships dropping out of hyperspace at the outter-limits of the system. They're Hapan ships."

Indeed, this did not phase Kil in the least. He'd been expecting the arrival of more ships. After all, they likely had the same sources for this raid... It seemed as though Kil had just gotten the better end of the stick.

"We have everything aboard, all shuttles returned?" Kil was already planning.

Hearing the affirmative, Kil stepped up to phase 3.

"Raise our cloak, order the Intimidator and Stalkers to do likewise. Silent running, now. First, patch me through to Commadore Luzi aboard the Demise. I want an uplink running from us to her... I want to speak with this fleet and, I want them to think it's coming from the Demise and, that she's alone. Once you have the uplink, which should be by the time I finish speaking, hail the newly arrived fleet. See if we can't... chat."
