Planets in the Anthos Sector to be taken: Trogan, Balmorra, Berchest

The winds of change were blowing softly over the Anthos sector, their cool breezes caressing the unknowing citizens with blithe promises and sweet rewards for the cooperative. This wind has never had a beginning, for change has always taken place. Nor will this wind have an end, for change is integrated into the thought process of sentient beings throughout the galaxy.

However, this wind was different.

The forty-five meters of the assault shuttle Fearsome glimmered slightly with reflected light from the nearby sun as it slid gracefully though the cold vacuum of space. Five thousand meters ahead, their destination lay still, like a bloated wale. A rich wale to be sure, but bloated none the less. The luxury transport Indifference orbited around the planet of Clak’dor VII waiting for its new arrivals, passengers to pad the pockets of the already rich ship owners. Ferrying people not so opulent, or determined enough to own their own ship was a lucrative business to get into these days, many people were afraid to travel by themselves, for fear of space pirates.

“Do you think the Bith Monarchy’s fears are justified, Master?” The speaker was a young man, not over twenty-two by the galactic standard year. His long, white hair was pulled into a loose knot behind his head, and was allowed to continue down his back, over the dark grey robes he wore covering his white linen clothing. The chamber the two beings stood in was large; this shuttle was designed to transport a squad of battle troopers, instead of simply two men. It was, however, what had been available. The military grade benches were worn smooth from transporting law enforcement from one part of the planet to another, yet the room contained a fresh smell. A very good air circulation system had been installed, above grade for a military vehicle.

Except for the slight, controlled breathing of the two humanoids there was little other sound.

His eyes were locked dead on at the passage of space that zoomed by as quickly as could be thought, and yet as slowly as could be pained. Thus was the passage of a luxuary liner.

The Jedi's glowing crimson orb for eyes tried to pin point all the stars - as a game to pass the time. Even as a Shadow Jedi Master boredom was a never-ending possibility that could captivate the mind, and in the end, possibly destroy it.

Not to say that this journey was infact that boring. He had found that some of the entertainment had been more than exotic and appeasing, even to the point that he had almost forgotten his troubles.

And not to say that as a Jedi Master he let his mind slip to a carnal desire, or even that he was allowing himself to hit a certain degree of boredom. Rather he was more entuned with the prospect that this type of journey was taxing on the mind.

What was one to do when meditation had run its course? Could you truly expect someone to sit down, and think about the Force for hours...days...weeks maybe?

Things had to be done to appease the mind, had to be done to keep the body active.

“Do you think the Bith Monarchy’s fears are justified, Master?” Tobal asked from the side of Fearsons as he played his little game of counting the stars.

He had been referring to the various levels of anti-terrorist paranoia that had been overcoming the Bith Monarchy of late. They had increased their terrorist threat level at least three times, almost matching the level Jutraal had since the threats from the Holy Domesthesian Empire.

He turned an eye on Tobal, his latest apprentice, who's history with the Shadow Jedi had been interesting to say in the least. He had come and been accepted under the emperor's good friend - Vyktor Marius - though he had gone off on his usual adventures off in some wild part of space.

Then came the emperor's ex-fiancee, Dark Emerald Jade, who had been secretly promoted to the rank of knight during his absence in the Unknown Regions. That was a mistake in and of itself he told himself, thinking back on the woman.

She was now disdained by most with her recent engagement to Heir Raktus, thus breaking the ties between Jutraal and Kaga, as well as this new "Black Dragon Empire".

With her abandoning of Tobal and the Shadow Jedi so she could go play little miss home maker with Raktus Tobal had again been left without a master.

With Fearsons's return, and the inherint strength in the boy, he thought it only right that he be trained under a Shadow Jedi Master...he was too strong, too gifted to have that power just tossed aside.

But it was not just for the power instilled in the boy that the emperor had wanted him trained.

He was so innocent, so gifted in more ways than just the Force.

To not train him would be a sin against the galaxy.

He could bring great things to both the Force and the people of the galaxy.

"I would think so," he responded at length, "the Jutraalian Empire is taking equal steps to protect against terrorism. The level of crime and...evil in the galaxy is more than acceptable. They need to protect their people."

"Yes Master," the young tribal boy responded, though that did not seem to be the answer he was looking for. Fearsons stared at him, and tilted his head.

"Feel the Force around you my young Apprentice, open up and stretch out with your feelings...disregarding my own statement, how do you feel? What does the Force tell you?"

“…how do you feel? What does the Force tell you?"

Tobal blinked at the request. Orders to “feel the force” had been piling up on him of late. Everyone wished for him to “expand your feeling”, to “feel it bind everything together”. But for all his attempts, the “feeling” of the force still eluded him.

“Yes Master” he replied, before turning to gaze out a viewport. The stars outside glowed with a faint glimmer, the tinted plasta-glass preventing much from light filtering in. Sinking within himself, the young man tried to feel what everyone said bound the universe together.

The only thing he could feel were the butterflies beating a tattoo on his stomach.

After a few minutes Tobal re-opened his eyes and glanced over to his Master. “I only feel the beating of my heart Master. Though I try not to, venturing off of a world still brings the memories of my flight from my world to mind.”

Standing silent, the Jedi looked down, and clasped his hands. Humiliating, it was, not being able to do what most apprentices first mastered.

The Black Dragon Empire, Dameo

Jadey, Taja Daemun of BDE had come back on diplomatic business. There were things that needed her immediate attention. Why her daughter Amethyst Night couldnt handle these things, as she was Daemun Consulate, Jadey would never know.

As Jadey signed the necessary paperwork, she got the overwhelming feeling that something was not right with Tobal. She knew she had never felt this from her apprentice before, and it puzzled her greatly. She also felt from him that he had not yet seen her message that she left for him, or if he ever got it at all.

Tobal, my apprentice:

I am sorry I left without saying goodbye. I had to leave for my homeworld shortly before I left you this message. I needed to be back in my homeworld at once, as something very urgent needed my attention.

I know what you must think of me. But also know that I plan on returning just as soon as this business is over.

I wanted to invite you to join me, but there wasnt any time to go find you. I feel so bad you had to stay there. I want you to know that too.

Anyways, I should be back in a day or so. Hope you are well.

See you soon, my apprentice.

Shadow Jedi Knight
Taja Daemun
Alicia Doment (birth name)
Dark Emerald Jade (given name)

She had sent that message yesterday morning during the trip back home to Dameo, and she has yet to feel that Tobal had seen it.

Just as she gets ready to send another message to Tobal, her first advisor comes into her office.

"Taja Jade?"

"Now what, Roal?"

"There is something going on with the citizens of the Empire."

"Great. Just great. As if I dont have enough to worry about right now, I need this."

"Taja, is everything...."

"Everything is fine, Roal. I shall take of it."

"Yes, Taja. As you wish."
