The temple was quiet, so quiet in fact, that if someone who had not been familiar with its scheduling came upon it at this particular time of the early morning, it would appear as nothing more than an abandoned complex of sorts. Only the rustling of wind blown foliage scattered about the various courtyards and gardens of its interior gave any signs of life. Of course, never does a day know complete silence or total calm.

"Someone will answer for this," Marek repeated under his breath, "Someone will answer, I swear it."

He moved with a purpose, but still maintained an air of stealth as to not alarm the other residents. Marek was determined to discover the true meaning of his brief encounter and the alleged information concerning the well being of a select group of family members. Zolar still hadn't been able to recall who the stranger was that had bound him but he vowed that at some point his identity would be revealed and just punishment was due him. However, from what he had observed upon awakening from the sleep toxin administered in aerosol form, his attacker was quite adept when it came to his work. Not only was he successful in de-activating the security measures in place, but he also doused the bindings that had held Marek with ysalamiri blood, nullifying the force within ten meters.

"Where is the blasted hangar!?!" He once again spoke to himself as he meandered in and out of corridors looking for something of familiarity. He'd been there several times, the hangar that is, but after the last ordeal his sense of direction seemed to have taken a bit of a nose-dive.

Despite his current plight, he was remaining primarily out of sight, however If anyone came upon him at this point, his disheveled appearance would no doubt raise a very suspicious brow.

After an agonizing search, Marek had finally found his way to the Temple's main shuttle hangar. There within its confines, were various vessels strewn about, anyone of which would suit his purpose. Zolar decided on the Valenzo a YT-2000 Corellian Transport, which looked to have been untouched in years. He made a quick inspection of its hull and outer structural integrity before proceeding onboard and running the necessary diagnostics before lift off could be achieved.

To his surprise, the ship came online with nothing but a minute sputter as the cockpits main console blinked into operation, it's numerous buttons, knobs and bulbs glowing and pulsing as all of the vital functions began completing their assigned boot-up tasks. It was still quite extraordinary that he hadn't come across a living soul in his quest to rocket off planet. In his haste to leave, the thought of leaving a note or message about his abrupt exit, never even crossed his mind and at this point when he was finally able to entertain the notion, he dismissed the idea entirely citing that this was a matter of complete urgency and that wasting time trying to formulate a cohesive letter of why he had left would ultimately just rob him of the precious time he had left. Of course, he also didn't bother to sign out the vessel in the hangar log either.

Once the Navigation Computer was ready to receive coordinates for course plotting, Marek punched in the address for his home world of Bestine. He hadn't laid eyes on her in years and to be returning there under these circumstances what not his idea of a homecoming.

"Hold on Mother, I'm coming," he vowed in the fully lit cockpit its instrument panels illuminating the feature of his face, some of the lights even reflecting off of his eyes. There was no telling what would become of him once he reached Bestine and his investigation/rescue attempt of his family and their dealings and hopefully if it came down to it, he'd have help.

The computer chirped as it neared completion of its pre-flight diagnostics, just a few more minutes before he was able to punch in the code to open the hangar doors and blast into outer space. Until that time he merely sat and waited.
