Vessana looked up at him angrily, his thought and last spoke word still ringing in her head. He knew her! Holding her tongue, she placed a hand against the small of Sorsha’s back, gently guiding her assistant inside the building. She did not get the immediate sense of danger from the man, though she still did not trust him. Regardless whatever this conversation was going to be, it would be best not to be had out in the open.
As soon as the three were all inside Vessana spun on the man. " You, Sir, have some nerve! Who do you think you are making demands of me when it is obvious you know who I am?!" She stepped toward him, closing the distance between them. " And if I show you any contempt it is not because you are a lower being, it is because you are an arrogant pain in the a-"
The words halted on her tongue and she narrowed her eyes as she got a better look at the man that stood before her. " I know you! You are an Admiral of the Rogue Empire! What is this? What are you doing here, and what do you want from me?"

<!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Ignoring the woman for a moment, he sent a slightly painful force message to the Rogue outside. As the message entered his mind the Rogue felt his mind defences crumble, leaving him feeling unnaturally vulnerable.<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->
<!--EZCODE BOLD START--> You too may join us Rogue...<!--EZCODE BOLD END-->
<!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Turning his attention back to the irrate Queen Mother. With a wave of his hand she was silenced.<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->
"Quiet. I have no respect for unearned authority, and as such you must excuse me if i show you no respect. Now to the topic at hand..."
<!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> He gestured her to sit on one of the seats in the abandoned room. All were slightly dusty, only the chairs and tables showing that anyone had lived here at all.<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->
"I want nothing from you directly, rest assured. I have come to discus the diplomatic future of Hapes. I know that you have entered discussions with The New Order, and i can guess at the fact they have offered you nothing in return. Perhaps generous slices of Rogue Empire territory IF they win, and nothing else.
Unlike them, we offer something for both now and later. Technology so superior it is only found in TREs aresenal. Financial assistance unlike anything you have seen, military expertise unsurpassed anywhere in the Galaxy. Perhaps one of the planets that formerly belonged to the Cluster.
And of course, generous settlements post our victory.
Does that not sound like a much better and fairer deal?"

She was seething and fought to keep her composure. She remained standing, her arms folding across her chest.
" We are in the middle of a battle zone, and you are here to negotiate the relations between our two factions?! You dare trivialize what is happening on this planet with your offerings and your deals! I have never thought lower of the Rogue Empire than I do at this very moment! Do you have any idea what is going on here, Sir? This planet is at war with itself ! People out there are dying, do you not get that?!"
Vessana stormed to the window, pointing out to the fire illuminated night sky. " Take a look outside and tell me why in gods name should I even be listening to you? The New Order and Rogue Empire can destroy each other for all I care at the moment! My first and only priority is stopping the chaos and the killing!"
She moved to stand toe to toe with the Admiral, her face only inches from his own. It was only that close that she noticed his Hapan-like features, but pushed the thought back. " Now you will take this back to your Emperor. Neither I nor the Consortium will be bought! Whether we deal with the New Order or not is none of you or your Emperor’s business. Stay out of our affairs, and stay out of my way. Am I making myself clear?"

<!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Dakkon grimaced as the petulant woman ranted on. Leaning slightly on the table in the centre of the room, he silenced her again.<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->
"They are incentives, not bribes. And much better ones than anything else on offer.
But if an alliance is passed you, perhaps i can offer you something to merely remain out of the conflict. Neutrality, in exchange for our Tech on the Disruptor Class Super Star Destroyer.
Since you seem so against TRE, this should at least serve both our interests. Agreed?"

He was persistant, she would give him that. With a sigh she stepped back.
" We do not want the Rogue Empire as an enemy, nor do we need the Rogue Empire as an ally. But most certainly, this is not the time or the place to discuss any of these matters.
Vessana walked over to Sorsha who stood in silence and once again was guilding her toward the door.
" Now you will excuse us, Admiral, as we have nothing further to discuss."

<!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> As the Queen mother left, Dakkon lifted up a hidden comlink and activated it.<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->
"Kashlinkov? Send the tech information."
"They have allied with us Sir?"
"No. But we have their neutrality, the next best thing. They have access to the Disruptor Class Tech. And we have evened the playing field on those TNO basterds..."
<!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Waiting until the Queen Mother was out of sight, Dakkon ran back to where he made his enterance point, and lept into his Commando Varient TIE Shadow. While he raced up to the cloaked ship, the Hapan relay station nearby recieved a coded message for Prince Dakkon Darksword... When it was finally decifered, it contained the full build schematics of the Disruptor Class Super Star Destroyer.<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->
