On the surface of Genon that construction projects were being expanded daily. The large Genon factories were now fully operational and part of their production had transfered to making building supplies and prefabricated sections. These prefabricated sections would decrease the contrustion times greatly since they could just be put together on site and would fit perfectly together.

With most of the Genon Spaceport now complete, much of the resources had shifted over to a massive construction site set up in a designated location. This site was specially chosen by the Confederation for its perfect climate and fertile soil. It was not yet clear for what purpose this large facility would be used, but plants would definatly be involved. It was for these plants that a beautiful and expansive greenhouse was being constructed at the rear of the main construction effort. The greenhouse would be fully self contained and could create any number of select environments.

Before it walked massive construction droids that were tasked with errected the main facility structure. This large structure would consist of four large rounded building, all joined together to a massive and tall building. Each building would be covered in laminated blast resistant ceraglass which also contained certain blaster reflective properties. The use of this type of glass indicated the facility's importance. It would also not be one of its kind. Many other facilities of this type were planned for production.

Underneath the structures being errected, a large underground bunker like complex had already been constructed. It was not known for what reason this was needed, but a guess was made that it would be used for things other than just power generation systems and water recycling systems. Stellar Enterprises did not ask questions about the purpose of these constructions. As long the credits were payed, no questions were needed to be asked.

Along with all these industrial building, large appartment complexs were being built as well all around the main city. Some of these had already been completed and had families moved into them, while others were still getting built. With the large number of people immigated to the planet from Metalorn, these places to live were becoming sorely needed. Stellar Enterprises was now trying its best to build homes for these new arrivals.

The Lambda shuttle soared over the crowds, piercing their ranks like a spear through mail to the verdant growth of the planet. A pair of black Deathsabers that had escorted the shuttle for several light years trailed behind the elegant shuttle. Wings folding, the transport slowly set down onto the landing pad as its military escorts veered away to one of the several mountain hangars on Genon.

The Zaltin Wayfarer’s ramp lowered among the ranks of the Confederation honour guard. Troops snapped to attention as several pairs of insectoid feet clattered down the ramp; the Vratix had emerged. The members of the alien species clicked their manibles as they stood and inspected the arrayed Coalition troops. A set of two more feet, belonging to humans, strolled the ramp; a man and woman dressed in white outfits fit for the tropics, whether on Genon or their native Thyferra.

“Welcome to Genon,” smiled Pro-Consul Thorn, clad in a white outfit similar in nature to that of the Thyferrans.

The humans shook hands while the Vratix and the Pro-consul simply offered courteous bows. And while the simple rapport talk began with the delegation, the shock troopers of the Confederation stood deathly still and quiet as marble statues in a noblemen’s garden.

Genon: the tropical paradise that was the baptism of fire for the Kashan military. A planet formerly occupied by criminals despite its proximity to Kashan itself. A planet that had remained unutilized by the Confederation at large except for as a military outpost for the Confederation armed services and by Stellar Enterprises; the sole civilian concern on the planet until with the recent arrival of the Metalorn colonists.

The first of the colonists began to arrive shortly after their homeworld had joined the Confederation. Many had spent their entire lives on the planet, trapped by low wages of their working class families for centuries; never seeing plants except on holovids or being outdoors without having to wear a breath mask. Offered the chance to live life anew on a planet full of life and nature, the citizens embraced it, snapping up the free transportation to Genon and enjoying other incentives offered by the Confederation for its colonization. Thus began the exodus of the colonists from Metalorn to Genon. Workers lost on Metalorn were promptly replaced by droids, and still a sizeable organic work force remained on the industrial world. Nonetheless, the exodus had provided more than enough colonists to make Genon a fairly well-populated planet for its region; enough to start a major industry. One that had been in the planning since the onset.

The Pro-consul offered a polite smile. “Perhaps we can discuss some matters inside?”

Light streamed through the through the broad windows of the governor's office in the newly built adminstrative centre in Brandenburg, the capital city of Genon. Beautifully designed in the neo-classical style, the marble building showed a refined elegance within the otherwise purely functional-looking city. Opulent in its surroundings, the Confederation hoped that it would be a symbol of the things to come for Genon. And it all rested in that office.

"It seems like it would reasonably profitable, and you offer another location for our company to expand," stated the aging man: Bror Jace.

"We believe that the venture guarantees more freedom for the Vratix," clicked one of the Vratix, "and more oppurtunities to help those around us."

Christina solemnly nodded. "That is my hope as well. We have had Stellar Enterprises build up many of the facilities needed for the operation."

Jace smiled. "So I've heard. I have to say, the holos make it look as good as those back on Thyferra."

The Pro-consul managed a smile, which Jace reciprocated.

"Don't worry," stated the old man, "I requested them from your Commodore shortly before arriving here. He got them back to us fairly fast."

Thorn's face displayed a myriad of emotions in quick succession.

"I'm glad to hear he's been helpful to you; would you care to take a tour of them?"

"Certainly," stated Jace, "but my primary concern will be the transportation of the people and supplies. We've had some transferred already to a neutral staging area, and they're ready to come; except that they don't know where they're going."

"Why is that?"

Jace shrugged. "We didn't know if the deal with come off or that somebody would jump and interrogate them. Could we take a tour of the space port?"

"But of course my sir."
