The Jedi Master, Nathaniel Somir, slowly climbed the steps of the Jedi Praxeum on Teya IV. He had chosen this place to begin his campaign against the Darkness. He had chosen this place to rid himself of the curse placed upon him by the one he once called Father.
He thought, as he climbed the steps, of all the things that the Sith Soul his father had implanted in his body had done. It caused a shiver to run up his spine. The entire time, he was there.. watching, but helpless to do anything. It was a nightmare. Until finally one of his students found him through the force and helped him to reach the light once more.
He had trapped the spirit for now, but it had to be banished once and for all. He could not do this alone. That is why he had asked some of the Jedi of the Rogue Order to come to this place and aid him in his quest. Some of them had already arrived. Hopefully, more would soon.
The more Jedi which stood together, the better their chances of complete success. It would be difficult, that much was certain, but it was more than possible. Ganner had shown him that much.
Finally, the Jedi Master reached the old council chambers. He stood silently in the center, a few of his students around him. His students.. it almost sounded foreign to him. He had come home, at long last, and he would make sure he stayed there.
He slowly looked to each student and finally spoke.
"Let us begin."
