(OOC: Sorry about taking so long to reply. Totally forgot.)

As the B-Wings fled from their attack run Captain Alberto smiled. It was exactly what he'd been counting on. As they moved to break away, forming a beeline for the VSDs the Starfuries broke after them harrying them the whole way.

The flight of the rebel fighters was charactorised by heavy explosions all along its route as the B Wings, moving at under half the speed of their enemies, were decimated.

Undefended by any kind of fighter cover, the bomber stream was destroyed peicemeal. But completing said task brought the SAS's into range of the VSDs. Or, they would have, had the Star Destroyers not been fleeing, their daggar shapes being optimised for forward combat.

Unable to target the mosquitos at their backs the VSDs could only plow forward towards their jump point as the SAS's unleashed flaming death upon the Sovereignty ships.

But for the most part, the ships did not fire their full salvos, although those that did we happy to see the dozens of missiles impact the plainly obvious shield projectors that sat atop the Victory's conning towers.

But the others, no they were waiting for a much better time to strike.

Pre-hyperspace reversion...

Damages:

As you fled, i followed, simply. Fleeing bombers make for easy pickings methinks.

And say 1000 SASs firing missiles from close range from an unreachable rearward position against the VSDs sheild generators? I'll let you decide whats reasonable (how many VSDs lose their rear and topward projecting sheilds).

Rickover sighed as the Imperial forces followed the B-Wings and destroyed a few of them. It didn't really matter. The pilots were clones, and the B-Wings could be replaced.

All the ships, including the Home One, then entered hyperspace, bound for another battle.
