Rogue Jedi Master, Nathaniel Somir, stood aboard the bridge of the mighty warship Terror. He had received a message from his brothers in the Light that an attack was pending, and so he enlisted. He had been assigned to the Trio of Terror, and so far the men had responded admirably to him.

Sitting at the Alderaan station had been rather boring, but atlast they were ready to depart. This is what Nathaniel was born to do. Fight to protect the innocent.

Their course was plotted and layed in, and the trio of warships entered hyper-space. Nathaniel was trained in battle, and had had experience in the Navy previously. This was nothing new to him. However, each time he prepared for a battle, he entered a meditative state, something his father taught him long ago.

Funny how he could hate his father so, and still use things taught by him. It intrigued the Jedi Master how one such as he could learn anything from a Sith Lord. And yet, there he was.. meditating.

A few hours past, and his meditation trance finally broke. The steady stream of melted stars around him seemed to reflect every color of the rainbow. It was truly an awesome sight, one to few take the time to really see.

The bridge commander broke the silence.

"Master Somir... we are closing on Kuat. When would you like to drop to normal space?"

"Drop well outside their sensor range. I do not want to walk into a hornets nest here."

"Yes sir."

With that the stream of melted stars around him slowly pulled together, until the blanket of space was black and scattered with sparkling specks once more. This would be an interesting day...

Under Nathaniel's Command: VSD Fear, VSD Horror, VSD Terror. Each VSD has 1 Squad TIE Fighters, 1 Squad TIE Interceptors, 1 Squad TIE Bombers.

Kuat, the precious center of the shipbuilding galaxy, twinkled in the reflection of the planet’s sun. Hundreds of tiny specs of metal also shimmered in this light. Transports came in and out of the planet all day, rarely stopping, for the shipyards of Kuat worked non-stop and raw materials were in constant need. Orbiting Kuat, three gigantic forty-kilometer shipyards produced a major portion of the Naboo Sith Order’s Defense Department fleet. Thanks to Kuat, the Naboo Sith Order was a safe, legitimate government to live in.

In case of attack, emergency protocols existed. They outlined the procedure on how the permanent Kuat Defense Fleet would react to invasion. Lock down. The move was risky, as it cost millions of credits to enforce.

Jack Ish, the head of the Kuati ruling family, was now faced with an important decision. Three enemy Victory Class Star Destroyers—a ship design that Kuati Shipyards had not produced—had appeared on long range probe outposts. Even though the defense fleet could thwart this offensive, it couldn’t do so without some collateral damage. To protect civilian casualties, Kuati airspace had to be shut down.

“Kuat citizens, workers and visitors, an enemy flotilla has appeared on the farthest reaches of our scanners. As leader of the Kuat Ruling Family, I am issuing the emergency call to close Kuat airspace to everything but the Defense Department personnel and fleet. I advise all of you to seek shelter, but not to panic. We are prepared for an attack, so there is no need to worry. The skies may look ablaze with the streaks of laser fire and such, but fear not, the Defense Department will prevail with minimal losses. Thank you.”

The Defense Fleet put itself on Defcon 2: Imminent Attack. As per Defcon 2, the Defense fleet’s Abolisher Cruisers activated their gravity bubbles, preventing anything from entering or leaving the planet.

The Rogue Jedi Master, stood aboard the command bridge in silence. He had stopped his approach, and had waited some hours now without initiating communications. By now they would certainly be wondering if he was out of his mind, or now getting cold feet.

Soon their questions would be answered.

Being and intelligence agent for the Ancient Sith Empire was often risky business. After his previous experience with the Black Sun, Meschi was sure he could handle this most recent assignment. He had been stationed in a precarious spot. Between the cluttered rings of a small planetoid, and the planetoid itself. This provided him not only visual cover, but sensor cover aswell, as the asteroids circling the planet were rich in ores.

After receiving word from the Dark Lord himself, Meschi moved the Imperial Class Star Destroyer "Intrepid" and the Victory Class Star Destroyer "United" from their hiding places, and began slowly moving towards the planet Kuat. The sensors reporting active gravity wells, he headed forward under reduced power. Slower, indeed, but he was not far off. His orders were simple. Aid TNSO in any way necessary. And so he would.
