Jai was dumbstruck that Mahk too was glad she was staying...so dumdstruck she decided not to comment on it.

"You know Owen? I wasn't aware."

Logan nodded.

"Yes. Known him for quite some time."

He looked at Mahk who stood a few meters away. The Noghri looked back but said nothing.

"There is more to Mr. Aiden then you think"

Jaina smirked, "I don't doubt that at all, Logan...not at all."

Logan waved it off.

"That is of no matter now. You and Aiden can talk about that later"

He had suddenly ran out of things to talk about. He just sat back and gazed at the Cascardi Mountains.

"You know something, Logan...it's suddenly occured to me that I know nothing about you. Well, almost nothing, that is...I don't even know your first name. All these years, and your still just 'Admiral Logan' to me. Why I've know longer than I've known my own sister!"

His eyes twinkled as he smiled at her.

"My name is Joren. You can call me that"

He took a sip of his tea as he smiled.

She smiled back at him, "I'd like th----"

"Mrs. Jai!!! Mrs. Jai!!!", Zeekan came screeching through the streets calling her name. Jai reflexively stood and put a hand to her blaster. Even from far away, the young boy looked horror stricken.

As he ran up to her, she feel to one knee and spoke to him in Correlian, a question:

"<!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Huna het li,<!--EZCODE ITALIC END--> Zeekan?"

"<!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Jaya, Jaya...Nai vatana! Nai<!--EZCODE ITALIC END--> Biggs<!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> , Jaya<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->!"

Jai visibly froze in horror, then went on, "<!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Huna s<!--EZCODE ITALIC END--> Biggs? <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Huna tenharan ra uita?!<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->"

The young boy paused, tears welling up in his eyes. All he could do was point...point to a very tall, very slender, very alien-looking being halfway floating, halfway walking down the street towards them. Zeekan whimpered and managed to get out, "<!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Shi.<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->"

Jai flashed her eyes back at him like he had just cursed, and snarled in Basic, "He isn't dead...and don't you ever say that agian! Get out of here, Zeekan!" She took the boy by the arm and half-heartedly pushed him away from her. The crying boy ran to the ailen-looking being, that was still a good bit away from her and Logan, and pointed to Jai.

If Jai had ever looked like her father, it was now: her jaw was squared, her sharp eyes were set, her hand was on her blaster, and a snarl had grasped her lips. Everything just screamed Han...except...the tears that fell from her eyes onto her cheeks.

With a flick of his raised hand, Logan acted. It seemed, suddenly, that the Noghri descended upon them.Sajikihm and Mahk covered the alien who was coming over. There were about 15 Noghri warriors all around them now.

Logan launched himself out of his chair and took Jai by the shoulders.

"What has happened?"

Jaina turned to Logan, "Joren..I...It's Biggs...Zeekan said he's..."

"Lady Darklighter, I presume?"

Jaina turned and her smuggler reflexes went into overdrive. "Who wants to know?"

The tall, slender, rather graceful alien-being stood before her..It towered over her and Logan a good three feet. It seemed to smile at Jai's words..."I would know you anywhere. You <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> are<!--EZCODE ITALIC END--> just like your father in manner...as Biggs had said."

Jai squared her jaw and stood erect, showing off her full five feet and eleven inches. "You knew my husband?", she asked skepticly.

"Knew him? Mi' Lady, he died for me."

Jaina paled visibly.

"Mi' Lady? Surely you've heard that I've been looking for you."

"W...w....what?" By now Jaina was hyperventilating and had slunk back agianst Logan, who was holding her up, keeping her from sinking to the ground.

"Lady Darklighter...surely you heard of your husband's death."

"It's not true!", Jaina was suddenly on her feet and doing her best to get in the alien-being's face. She rolled up her sleeve and growled. "I'll show you dead, you big oaf...why I'll..."

At that moment, Jai lunged.....and stuck in mid-air. She gasped and struggled, but it was no use. Biggs had done this to her many times...supending her, mid-lunge, to let her stop and cool off, before she pulvarized someone. The alien-being and Jai were now on eye level with each other...but he kept his distance from her flailing fists. "Now maybe you will listen? Mrs. Darklighter, I mean you no harm...but I must be allowed to explain myself."

He continued..."I am Xihi Metoblis, Jedi Knight. One of your husbands graduated padawans. I and your husband were on a planet in the outer rim, investigating a trade dispute. Little did we know, that we had intruded upon a cival war. As always, Biggs tried to calm everyone, and settle things...but he could not....not this time. The people attacked us and we battled for our lives. I was not strong in my lightsaber skills and lost my saber in battle. One of the people picked it up and came at me...and suddenly, your husband came from nowhere and took the lighsaber stab for me. He died in my arms."

By this time, Jai had calmed and began crying. The alien lowered her and she fell to her knees in sobbing. "No no no...its not true....it can't be."

The alien being layed a hand on Jai's shoulder, "He died with love for you on his lips, Mrs. Darklighter. He talked of nothing else but you and the children..."

Logan raised a hand. Mahk and Sajikihm stepped forward to the alien.

"Mr Metoblis. Please come with us" Mahk said.

The alien nodded and walked with them. Mahk and Sajikihm placed themselves on either side of him and they started walking toward Logan's shuttle.

Logan just put his arms around her and patted her back.

"Its okay. Everything is going to be okay"
