<!--EZCODE BOLD START--> Jedi Academy
Theed, Naboo<!--EZCODE BOLD END-->
It was dawn. The sun had just crept over the horizon, and now rays of light splashed over the high rising Jedi Academy building.
At the top bathed in sunlight, was Leia Organa Solo. She stood alone, solemnly gazing out over the city of Theed. Things were so peaceful here, completely unlike the rest of the universe, which she came into contact with most commonly.
It was the duty of the Jedi to maintain this peace throughout the galaxy. Leia knew this to be an impossible task, there would always be turmoil somewhere within it. However, the Jedi could protect and create places like these... no wars, no armies. The citizens were happy, peaceful.
Theed was an unrealistic haven for the Jedi, when it came to them experiencing the truth of the universe, the facts of life as a Jedi.
It just wasn't this damn serene.
Leia's thoughts wanded back to her real purpose here. She had summoned three Padawan to meet her here, this morning. She expected them to be arriving, however grumpily, shortly...

Amalia entered the Academy more slowly than her usual pace on this day. Today was a day of change, like any other day, but today more so, a change in growth.
Today, at least she thought, was a day full of goodness...
I wish I felt days like these more often. I wish the Jedi had more days like these.
Progress was so slow to her, the Jedi..so...quiet.
Perhaps it is just I who feels this, nut perhaps this day of growth shall change all that.
She knew she had not arrived first, and she smiled lightly to herself in recognition of Leia's presence. She sent a small greeting to the Jedi Master, and then slowly began to follow her presence via the force, which would eventually lead her to where the other Jedi being called upon would go.
Hi there...

Adrian had received Master Organa Solo’s summon while he was dressing early that morning, and came prepared into her presence, arriving just after the Jedi Amalia. Walking up quietly behind, the anxious Padawan awaited the Jedi Master to greet him.
He was nervous, but just slightly. Adrian knew he had nothing to fear from the two that were here, and his curiosity was running rampant inside his own head, all the time wondering why he had been summoned to this place. Still, he managed to contain it.
Adrian waited.

The planet of Naboo was indeed a beautiful place. Plantlife abounded everywhere, and the citizens were friendly and content. A sharp contrast from Tatooine, Kahn's home planet. On that desert planet a single blade of grass would have been a curiosity, perhaps even cause for celebration. And the inhabitants were anything but polite and friendly.
As he made his way towards the two Jedi Masters and Padawan, these thoughts filtered through Kahn's mind. At times like this, when everything seemed perfect, he could not help comparing them to other times when that had differed.
Stopping next to Amalia, Kahn nodded to Adrian, then bowed more deeply to both Organa and his Master. No words were spoken yet, as they all took in the serene masterpiece laid out before them.

Tomika had been showering when she was summoned. She turns the water off and dries off, then dresses quickly in flowing white silk clothes. Normally she would wear her robes, but she was in a rush to meet her Master.
Tomi arrives and bows to Amalia, Kahn, Adrian, and her Master, Organa Solo, then waits as well.
OOC: Sorry for this dely, but I have not been online for a few days.....sorry again

WT hops out of his room, and through the Jedi temple. He was wondering why Master Organa had summoned him. He was a mere Padawan. In his humble hopper opinion, he thought he wasn't even worthy of seeing her. But a order was an order.
He hopped out of the temple and headed to where he sensed Master Organa's presence. Seeing them up at the top of a hill, he croutched down. "Can't delay them any longer." He summunded up the force, and let it flow through him. Pushing off with his heel, he sped up the side of the hil, and arrived in front of the three masters within seconds. "Greetings Master Organa, Master Kahn...and Master Amalia." He gave Amalia a small smile, then returned his attention to Organa.

OOC: Just for reference I was standing on the roof of the Jedi Academy, and that is where we should all be when we meet. I wasn't very clear about that. If you wrote in meeting me elsewhere it doesn't really matter, just adjust your future posts accordingly and we'll be all set.
All of the summoned were present now.
Smiling, Leia turned to face them all. She had had her back to them, as she gazed out over Theed and the sunrise, but now she brought her full attention to those before her. Her slight frame was outlined in bright, fiery orange by the sunrise that was taking place behind her.
"I am glad you were all able to make it this morning... I know it is not often that a Jedi pays attention to the common, everyday sunrise anymore. But..."
She stepped out of the way of everyone else's view of the spectacle, and gestured to it. Amalia and Kahn already happened to be standing off to one side, more next to her than the Padawans present, and she did not address them, instead leaving them to pick up on the direction of the day on their own. They had discussed this matter before to some extent, now it just had to happen.
"Could anybody possibly tell me any other significance that this daily function of the universe holds for you, other than that it gets light outside?"

Adrian was slightly taken aback by the question. The way Master Organa Solo posed it, and the fact that it was such a simple thing. Although, when he thought about it, Adrian realised that he hadn’t seriously thought about the sunrise since the day - or night, rather - that he had first arrived at the Jedi Academy, all that long time ago. Now, Adrian slept with his curtains open, and allowed the sunrise to wake him in the morning. But on that day, that first day, it had meant so much more. So much more than it had meant to him recently, at least.
Adrian looked around him for a moment, seeing the other two Padawans, Tomika and WT, both standing and contemplating the question as he had. Master Organa Solo was outlined in front of him, the sun at her back, as were Master Kahn and Jedi Amalia. As no-one else seemed to be saying anything, Adrian stepped forward.
“Master Organa Solo,” he said, bowing to her, and then to the two other high-ranking Jedi. “To me, the sunrise means - or at least meant - the beginning of a new day. Of a new chance in life, even. It’s like being given a fresh start, where you can move on, and become better than what you were before. Because it’s a new day, and anything can happen.”

WT looked into the morning sun, and then up into the sky. He puzzled over her question for a few minutes, wondering what this meant.
"To me...it means a new start. A new day full of endless possibilities. A new day for life to start again, in away. It's like a chance to try something brand new...that may not make any sense, but it's how I look at it."

Tomika thinks for a moment before responding, choosing her words carefully.
"To me, the sunrise means a new beginning, as if being cleansed during the night and awakening a new person inside.
To me, the sunrise signifies a new life, just like the start of a new day, as if that were a life beginning itself each sunrise. Because in a way, it is."
