Kamon sat on board his ESD command ship, the Law. He had entered hyperspace approximately four standard days ago. He was beginning to feel the effects of not sleeping. This had mostly been because he knew the capabilities of the people he was about to go up against.
The Adumarians were known for their excellence at starfighter piloting. Tholatin produced exceptional pilots but not as many as Adumar did. That's what had Kamon worried. He was afraid they wouldn't give in to a diplomatic takeover because they would believe they could fight him off.
I hope the ESD helps out in that department.
He was counting on the threat the ESD posed to the Adumarians. It could wipe them out fairly easily. All he had to do was tell them this. He hoped.
He climbed out of the command chair for the first time in four days. Walking up to the Captian, he spoke.
"Alert me when it is almost time for reversion."
"Yes, sir."
Two of his RPGC flanked Kamon as he left the bridge and headed for his quarters. Walking down the empty hallway to his quarters, he began to think of his tactics for taking over Adumar diplomatically. He ran them all through his head.
It's going to be a long week.

Kamon left his Guards at the door to his room, and walked in. He stripped, and slid into his bed. He was tired, receiving messages from Admiral Mont, as well as working on plans for the takeover of Adumar, had tired him out. He fell asleep quite quickly.
Kamon walked through the training grounds on his home planet of Adumar. He had been training himself so that when the time came for him to have to fight the Sith he would be ready. No one, besides himself, currently used the training grounds. Kamon had no apprentice, and none of the other Rogue Jedi used his planet to train.
Kamon exited the training grounds and entered the Forest. He walked down the trail that would lead him to the Rogue Jedi Temple he had built. Kamon’s Monteradon life partner swooped down out of the sky and landed next to him.
“Something troubles your castle.” Freefall said through the Force. The Force was the Monteradon’s only way to communicate with humans, and it was limited. The Monteradon’s could only speak to their life partners.
“What do you mean?” Kamon spoke out loud.
“There are loud noises emanating from the castle. Some of the noises sound like blaster shots ricocheting.”
“That can only mean one thing. A Sith has infiltrated the palace. Can you take me there?”
“Of course.”
Kamon hopped onto Freefalls back, and grabbed on to the harness’s he wore. Freefall extended his wings, and flew into the air. They were approximately ten minutes from the castle, and reached it quite quickly. Monteradons have excellent speed.
They landed and Kamon hopped off of Freefalls back.
“Stay here. I don’t want you getting hurt.”
Kamon entered the palace, and found two of his Royal Phalanx Guard Corp sprawled dead on the ground. Gaping slash marks across their chests demonstrated the cause of death. Kamon ran to his office and sat down. He was sending a message to his Jedi comrades, when a sinister voice entered his ear.
“At last I have the chance to take back that which is rightfully mine. You shall die Kamon.”
“Zerxes! You are a fool to return here!”
“No! You are a fool for banishing me! Now you will pay!”
Two red blades illuminated the darkness, Kamon reached for his lightsaber but knew he wouldn’t reach it in time. The red blades went straight for his head…
Kamon woke up with a start. That was the worst dream he had had in ages. He hadn’t had a dream like that since his parents had died. Those dreams were painful. Those dreams were sprung through the Force.
This dream of course had special meaning. Kamon knew when the Force brought a dream to him. This had been one of those dreams. This meant something evil had happened or was going to happen. It meant that Zerxes Vondiranach had entered the spotlight once more.
The dream had great significance in what Kamon could decipher. He knew that the dream meant Zerxes had resurfaced. However, he didn’t know when, where, or how he had resurfaced. The why was obvious through the dream. He was angry, very angry, at Kamon. That was of course because Kamon was the ruler of Tholatin and Kamon had exiled Zerxes.
Zerxes obviously held great resentment for Kamon’s actions when the two of them were kids. That was a long time ago and Kamon had thought that Zerxes would have forgotten it.
The dream also said that Zerxes was going to try and reclaim the throne of Tholatin by killing everyone that worked for him. Kamon couldn’t let that happen. He wouldn’t let that happen.
He got out of bed and walked over to the refresher station. He put his hands under the water and rubbed them on his face to wake himself up. He looked at the chronometer to see if it was almost time for reversion. It was not. According to the chronometer, he still had seven hours to kill.
He slipped on his clothing and headed for the fighter training area on the Law. He had made sure simulators with the proper programming had been set up there. His two RPGC guards followed him closely. They entered a turbolift and shot down to the pilot training room.
Exiting the turbolift, Kamon walked over and picked up a flight suit and a helmet. Slipping them on, he walked over to one of the simulators and got in. He keyed in the code for the most dangerous of all the Sims that were programmed. He wanted the greatest challenge he could possibly get. He got what he wanted as he was the only fighter versus one hundred enemy atmospheric fighters.
