Jaina looked on from her spot at the back of the room...the tenseness of thr two leaders conversation filled the bridge will a suffocating stillness as everyone was perfectly poised out of respect and from force of habit.

The Disruptor Squad--however--lounged at the rear as usual...they looked like careless hooligans, but apperances are deceiving.

Suddenly Jai's special com-link beeped, quietly grabbing her attention..it was the com Fearsons' had given her to receive special message from him personally. She read the note over briefly and could tell he had it pre-written by some aide...smirked slightly as she glanced up at her Boss still negocitating...

Commander Darklighter stood and smoothed down her purple and gray uniform, she inclined her head to the others of the squad and started to walk out of the bridge and down a corridor that lead to the hanger bays...the other 9 members of the squad and her son Beau followed closely...

Fearsons stood tall and confident, still watching tensely. He was unsure of Hyfe's words, he was not yet ready to trust them. The emperor narrowed his eyes to the "negotiator" and dropped his hands behind his back, clasping them together.

"Hyfe, why after I killed one of your pilots, took a planet in your beloved sector, foiled one of your plans, am constructing an Eclipse-Star Destroyer, and prevented several of the Freedom Guard Corporation's personnel from falling to the hands of the Empire would you suddenly offer 'peace'? What assurances do I have this is not a front?

"I've been around a long time Hyfe, have you forgotten my titles IN the Empire before I disappeared, or have you just not been reading your history books? If you are what you claim, to be the only true Empire I left, I will need assurances. And what exactly are <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> your<!--EZCODE ITALIC END--> terms? He then turned to Admiral Wyldan, giving him a slight nod, who in turn nodded back and left. Fearsons' full attention was now on the talks.




"What?" was the rear admiral's only response. Daqurii had been given orders by Fearsons himself to defend the orbit, and now he was being told to withdraw to Yaga Minor? Why? But he dare not defy superiors, and after Wyldan repeated his order...he simply nodded. "Yes sir, my fleet is moving out." The Avengers...closely followed by the Chimera Fleet, without hesitation, left the system.
