Another day in court. (Cole Donovin, closed)

::He walked into the crowded hall, the hall of the King of the planet Y'Sad, staying in the shadows to see who was present. There was a large crowd today, and he felt like something was going to happen. First of all there was aggitation in the crowd. This was no abnormal thing, aggitation was normal with the people of Y'Sad, a race of warriors tended to thrive on aggitation. But this aggitation was different and the people didnt seem to notice it. His brother hadnt noticed it, but Methias had.

He had always felt things that nobody else had, other than Luis, who had dissapeared almost a year ago. Luis used to speak of the force, which was forbidden for use on this planet, but Methias was skeptical. Luis might have been found out for another reason, but he must not have spoken Methias's name. He wiped the image of Luis's face out of his mind and concentrated on the people.

The ladies wore their finery, the gentlemen, though killers inside, looked perfectly civil and it reminded Methias why he hated court. Everyone was so fake, pretending they enjoyed each others company, wearing thick masks. And he was condemned to spend the rest of his life here.
He walked closer to the Kings chair, still within the shadows until his father caught his eye, his father frowning.

The king had often wondered what he had to done to deserve such an indifferent, anti-authoritarian son. The boy didnt even enjoy the bloody battles that entertained the warriors year round, only the blasted musical instruments and anything else that he dissaproved of. No amount of punishment or torture had fixed the problem. But he was not here to think about his delinquent son, he was here to recieve the blasted peace keeper that had been sent on behalf of the other planet they were taking over for a... treaty. He hated treaties, and he hoped they werent foolish enough to send a jedi. If it was a jedi there would be blood sport tonight, after the civil and diplomatic procession.

Methias rose one eyebrow at his father, seeing the tension on the sith spawns face, something indeed was going on, and it had to with something that involved the talk of a treaty. He mused, everyone who had spoken the word had put a sour expression on their face. He decided he would stay for this piece of entertainment, hearing the King of Y'Sad call out for the peace keeper to enter the hall, everyone growing completely silent. He felt something around him change, and felt peculiar, this person was no ordinary person and he couldnt figure out why. He leaned on the piller and watched a respectable looking man walk in, his fathers lips curling.::

A man of five feet and eleven inches walked slowly into the hall, his blue eyes strictly focused toward the direction of the King's chair.

True enough that when it came to the force, the unfamiliar guest was a man of purity, a Jedi. However, the man's attire bared no resemblance to that of a Jedi. His attire, informal. A black jumpsuit. Not exactly the appropriate attire, considering the circumstances, but Cole purposely wanted to look out of place.

The man took his sweet time in making his way toward the King, already knowing much more about the King of Y'Sad than he would ever show.

"Greetings, your Majesty," Donovin said, bowing deeply at the waist as he stopped to stand three feet shy of the King's chair.

::Methias noticed the man, his cool bearing to the situation. They had certainly sent in a diplomat. the king's mouth straightened and he stood above the diplomat. His voice was pure business. He had no time for small conversation from a stinking diplomat on peaceful business.::

"Welcome to the planet Y'Sad, state your name and your business"

::Methias grinned at that, his father would have little patience today. He sat back and watched, the crowd now back to it's usual murmuring.::

Donovin was not on Y'Sad for matters of the force, his visit being for a more personal reason.

The planet of Gamelaari was a planet that Donovin greatly treasured and he was not willing to see the people of Gamelaari be misguided so he had volunteered to be the official spokesman for a land that he very much believed in fighting for.

"The people of Gamelaari thank you. I do not intend to take up much of your time, so I will make this as brief as possible. I, Barthalamule, come before you with the people of Gamelaari in mind. They wish free passage into Y'Sad, to be among your own people, as citizens of Y'Sad and in turn, they will make you ruler of their planet, no strings attached."

Donovin kept the wishes of Gamelaari simple, adding no more than what was necessary.

::Methias's jaw just about dropped open, this was the first time a planet had freely offered their planet. They had always fought back. His father however only rose an eyebrow and sat down, the idea was appealing but he kenw there were catches, there always were. There had to be, he knew the people of that weak planet werent that brainless.::

"So they recieve free passage into Y'Sad, and I rule their planet. There are always strings attatched. However we can discuss those strings at a later date, as I'm sure you want to be ready for the discussions. I have a few days to spare with this interesting idea. But be aware Barthalamule, I am not a fool.
My son Methias will escort you to your chambers."

::He sent his son, who frowned at him, and not some servant because he wanted to be sure the man got there, and his son was trustworthy enough. he wanted to be ready for the discussions as well, the man had caught his offguard and he wanted to make sure he had seen all angles of this situation.

Methias frowned and stepped out of the darkness, giving the man a nod in greeting. He appeared courtious and nothing but polite, but there was annoyance in his eyes. He gestured towards the door and walked back to the entrance. His father no doubt will be closing court for the rest of the day, but the warriors would still be continuing the fight until this was sorted one way or the other. The ladies and gentlemen were louder than usual, meaning many wild stories would be sweeping the countryside by midday.::

"As you wish, your Majesty.. until then."

Bending at the waist, Donovin bowed, his blue eyes meeting the King's gaze once more before retreating back to the entrance he had previously entered in from.

Once safely out of earshot of the king, Donovin allowed himself to speak candidly with Methias.

"Tell me, do you enjoy being on Y'Sad?"

Donovin had not said so, nor had he shown any sign, but ever since he had walked into the hall he had come to find a rich connection to the force, stemming from Methias.

::Methias studied the man, wondering why he was asking such a question. People usually assumed the prince and future heir had a grand time, this man was a little too observant at the displeasure in Methias's eyes. He wasnt in the best grace and since now no-one was around and he wasnt happy with being made messenger boy he told the man exactly what was on his mind.::

"Let's see. The official ceremonies, the women wanting to be the next queen, most of them over the top and in your face, the utterly rediculous wars that go on and the fact that I have to fit a mould I'm not made for? I love it. What a question. Do you think anyone who is born into royalty has fun? Why did you volunteer for this task? it's not exactly an ideal place for a treaty. And if your a jedi my friend, then your most definantly in the wrong place."

::Though on second thought some of the women werent all that bad, but over all he almost felt hunted. He turned a corner, the red and dark brown colours of the palace making a grand view for the visitor. Glamour very often hid the ugliness, and he mused at that fact. They turned another corner which led to a staircase.::
