Aboard the Imperial Battleship Tormentor, orbiting over the planet of Vladet
Vice Admiral Kraken strode the bridge of his migthy flagship, taking in her beauty as well as her sleekness, and deadliness. It was almost time to launch yet another assault, and take over another planet as part of his glorious plan of outer rim takeover. His next planet of conquest was awaiting his mighty boot. It was only a matter of time, now, until it feels the mighty stomp of it. Kraken strode over to his closet, and with a mighty heave, opened it, revealing his might array of clothing. He fumbled through his wardrobe, looking for just the perfect costu....errr.......outfit for this occasion. Throwing out his red Intelligence uniform, and a Kowokian Monkey vest that he kept as a souvinear, he finally came upon his spotless white uniform. Only the uniform wasn't so spotless, having a small drapery of ketchup on it from last night's dinner. Oh well, thought Kraken, he would drop it off at the loundromat on his way to inspect his ship for battle. His first destination was the bridge.
Upon arriving there he sighted a young man wearing a Leuitenant's rank that was sitting at a console looking quite busy. At first Admiral Kraken thought he was working hard on some subject for the glory of the Empire, and was going to suggest that the captian promote him a grade for hard work, when he saw that the man was in fact playing a game. It looked like he was beating the Rebels pretty hard, and Kraken was going to suggest that he be promoted a grade anyways, when he noticed something; the Leuitenant was playing AS the Rebels, and was blowing up Imperial fighters. Fuming, Admiral Kraken withdrew his service pistol, and fired a shot into the console, shattering it.
The Leuitenant looked up in suprise to see Admrial Kraken standing over him. Kraken holstered his pistol, and looked at him, feeling quite pleased with himself. Then the Leuitenant, looking quite angry, got up and shouted at Kraken, "WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT FOR!?! I HAD ALMOST GOTTEN A NEW RECORD!". Kraken, suprised by the balls of this Leuitenant, removed one of his gloves, and @#%$ slapped the Leuitenant across the face. With that he stated, "Ensign, you are hereby demoted to Laundy duty. Take my uniform down to the Laundromat, and clean it good. Do a good job, and you may get your post back. Do a terrible job, and you will spend the rest of your existance scrubbing toilets in officer's country." said Kraken. After a quick kick, the Ensign was sent packing for the Laundromat.
With that little assignment taken care of, Admiral Kraken did a more thourough checkup of the bridge. After he was satisfied that no one else was goofing off, he departed the bridge, bound for the various weapons. Upon coming to his first turbolaser cannon, he sighted something unusual. The three crewmen that worked the turbolaser were nowhere to be seen, nor were the crew for the second turbolaser. And they weren't in their ready rooms either. Finally, upon coming to a crew's mess station, he sighted the crews of about twenty nearby weapons seated around a few tables, heavily engaged in a game of Sabaac. He sat down at the nearest table, and asked to be dealt in. The dealer looked at him for a moment before he shrugged, and dealt him three cards. He pretended to look at the cards, while he used his other hand to silenty arm a grenade. When it came time to bet up, he set the grenade for twenty seconds, and then tossed it into the sabaac pot. The crew men looked at it for a few seconds before comprehension dawned, and they screamed and ran for the exits. Admiral Kraken just sat there as the seconds ticked away, and then......BOOM! The Grenade blasted out in a loud noise the word "Sucker", and then fell silent. Silenty laughing to himself, Kraken gathered up the credits, and fake grenade, and dropped them off at his quarters before heading down to the engineering bay.
Some time later, having finished his tour of the ship, and being satisfied that everything was back to being normal, he stopped by the laundromat, and found his uniform very well clean and neatly hung up. He took it back to his quarters, and issued a comlink call asking for security to escort the ensign to the docking bay for airlock duty. With that finished, he made his way back to his quarters, in order to change, and prepare for this day's activities.

Over the world of Rachuk...
The Imperial 1st Squadron arrived over the world of Rachuk and deployed into a lazy lower orbit. The fleet flagship, the giant and deadly Messiah Battleship Tormentor, deployed tens of shuttles, as well as three other ships in the squadron that had the capacity to do so. The shuttles descended to the surface of the planet, and headed for the stormtrooper training facility near the capital city of Rach. The capital city had recovered well after the Imperial bombardement, and the follow up strike from the terroist organization known as the Outer Rim Sovereiengty, since having merged with the Galatic Coalition. Admiral Kraken still had to shake his head over that, but since the Coalition had the senior rule of the merger, this meant that their officials could keep their forces in line. That at least was a bonus, meaning that the same type of massacre was not very likely to occur. As the shuttles approached the training center, Kraken glanced out the viewport to see the cemetery that had been erected in honor of those, militarily, and civilian, that had died both in the Imperial occupation, and in the Soveriegnty's later bombardement, of the world. In both operations combined, one hundred ten Imperial troops, thirty Imperial diplomats, and one thousand ten civilians had been killed, mostly in the latter attack when the training facility had been pounded flat.
But enough with it's history. It was now on to the present condition of the facility. It had been fully rebuilt, and extended beyond that to include training facilitys for Imperial Naval officers. Day by day classes of twenty and forty graduated the weeks long courses, and were shuttled off to either Vladet or Diamal to be stationed aboard a newly completed warship, or groups of newly completed starfighters. They circled the main complexes once, and then came to rest in a large open field. His personal lambda shuttle settled very near the base entrance, while ten Stormtrooper barges settled down in a neat line across the field. Emerging from the building entrance came an entourage of officers and commanders, those were in charge of the base. Among them Admiral Kraken recognized General Yokel, the man who had valiantly defended Rachuk from a ground assault by the Sovereignty, and stalled them off long enough for the fleet under Lupercus to arrive and intervene, saving the world from terroist rule. Others include Commodore Harrier, previously believed to have been killed, actually survived, but with a lot of body damage that even bacta couldn't heal. Although he could still walk, his physical abilities were weakened, and as a result, he was reduced from overall base commander to that of an observer. Finally, the last face he recognized was that of a young graduate with much promise, Rear-Admiral Klaxton, promoted on his graduation due to his incredible tatics.
With that, the first Imperial Army Battalion that would be uploaded, consisting of twenty platoons of stormtroopers, their fresh armour gleaming in the hot summer sun. In total there were eight hundred Imperials stormtroopers to be loaded up, and in all this day ten trips would be made from space to the surface of the planet to bring a grand total of one half a division, or eight thousand stormtroopers up to the Imperial fleet. Admiral Kraken wished them the best of luck in the upcoming campaign, for it was promising to be very brutal indeed. The enemy was formidable, both in the number of his starships and starfighters, but also in his ground armies. This was shaping up to be a nasty scrap. But, for now Kraken put that aside. Now, it was time for him to become reacquainted with old friends. For this purpose, he strode over to Commodore Harrier, and offered up a salute. He saluted back.
"Vice Admiral Park Kraken, how nice to see you again, once again, old friend. It was been many months, even years, since we last saw each other. Tell me now, I've been keeping track of you, and although early on you suffered some grave defeats, you have rebounded nicely, and scored many important victories, against the criminal bastards known as the outer rim sovereignty, and the terroists factions that have risen to replace them. Tell me, how have you fared?" asked Commodore Harrier.
"I have fared very well, Commodore Harrier. I am in great health for my age, and I am in great physical condition. Why, just the other day in the weightroom I achieved a new benching record of two hundred pounds. Something quite remarkable for a man of my size. Yes, I have rebounded very well after the battles against the Galatic Coalition over the world of Ando. Even though I didn't perform that badly, those battles were still dictated as defeats due to the fact that failed to conquer the world. Yes, even though I let you down over here, over the world of Rachuk, let me tell you that I didn't simply have the ships to spare to repulse his forces. I sent four frigates, it was all I could spare, and those forces were slaughtered by the criminals. But, as events unfolded over the world of Af'el, I avenged those sailors, and the ground forces, and civilians by mercissley bombarding to ruin a sizable Outer Rim fleet, destroying ten Star Destroyers in exchange for the loss of one of my own, and five gunships. It was a overwhelming and noteworthy victory. But tell me, off to the war and all, and back to our personal lives. How have you children fared, with you having been badly injured, and your wife killed?" asked Kraken.
"They, now at an older, more mature age, understand what happened, but still not why. I am not comfortable talking about this issue. Please, tell me, how has your wife fared? You know, your are quite a rogue at romance, you little devil you." said Harrier with a mocking, humorous tone.
"Helena is doing very well. I'm suprised you heard that I had married her in the midst of the war with the Coalition and Soveriegnty. But then again, I do know about your high sense of curiosity, damn it." said Kraken with a slight sneer that degenerated into laughter.
Yes, it was good indeed to become reacquainted with old friends........

Cutscene one: On the world of Bastion.....
Colonel MacDoodle read through the various reports coming into him from the various stations of this sector of the defense network. He was in charge of keeping Hyper-Velocity Cannon Number 049 in tip top shape at all times, even during times of relative peace. Soon it would be time for his lunchbreak, and he always enjoyed that. Let's see, first he checked over security. Hmmm, Guards 101, and 901 were at it again, playing yet another round of sabaac. MacDoodle didn't care how much credits they were playing for, these soldiers had laxed in their duty one too many times now. He would detail one Dark Trooper from the core guard to dispose of these two, and assume their positions until replacements could be shuttled in. He heard that the new training facility expanded on Rachuk was pumping out better than average and better than decent stormtroopers. He would put in request for some of those troops when they became avilable. For now he shifted his attention to the other various items.
Soon, he was done for an hour, so he rattled over to McGriddles, the local food resturaunt, and picked up a Billy burger, filled up with bantha beef, corellian charboote root, and plenty of ketchup. From there he headed over to the park, his favorite place to sit down and eat. He had just begun to eat, when he heard a small splat sound. He looked around, but couldn't find anything, so he went back to eating, and immediatly noticed that his burger tasted different. Spitting it out, he opened his sandwich to reveal a white substance lodged there. Mayo? Thought MacDoodle. No. That substance was strictly illegal. Then what? Then the answer came a second later as a large doo-doo bird came in and dropped some shittings on the leg of his pants.
Growling, he stood up, and withdrew his standard issue DL-11 Blaster Pistol. Taking careful aim, he losses a bolt at the bird. He missed, but as the bird came around again, it did not. A big splat of white landed right on his face, blinding him momentarily. When he cleared his eyes, the bird had flown way up in the air, out of his range, and continued to rain droppings on him. Pissed that the bird had effectivley ruined his one hour lunch break, the one time of the day that he effectivley let off a lot of steam and stress, MacDoodle ran back to his workplace. Oh no, he thought to himself, that bird hasn't had the last laugh by a long shot.
The bird flew at an altitude of about five hundred feet. Satisfied that it had deployed it's diahrrea in an effective manner, it started to turn back home, when....BLAM! A loud noise almost defeaned it's ears. Something incredibly large flew by, missing it by a few meters, and slammed into the nearby mountian with tremendous force, blowing off the top and raining tons and tons of debris upon the surronding terrain. The bird looked to the source of the offending device, to find the barrel of the Hypervelocity cannon pointed straight at it. It had enough time to poop a little more before it fired again, and another huge shell slammed into the bird, and took it up into space.
Sitting in the gunner's chair, Colonel MacDoodle nodded and smiled, satisfied with himself. Even though he knew his actions would cost him his job, at least he had gotten rid of that annoying bird. At that moment two security guards tackled him, and threw him out the door, seizing his rank bars, blaster, and leftover lunch money as they did so. The door to the compound closed behind him. But at least, he thought to himself, he had the last laugh against that bird, as he looked up to see the moon where the shell had impacted, creating a large new crater. MacDoodle began to laugh, when he heard a splat. Feeling a sense of dread creeping up his spine, he looked to his left, where the familiar white substance had just landed on the walk. A flurry of shadows caused him to glance upwards. There, he sighted a horrible sight. Birds, hundreds of them, were coming at him. "No, No" he said as he realised that these birds had been displaced when he blew up the mountian. And now they were coming for him. "Please, Please No" he wailed at the birds, but they paid no heed. MacDoodle caught sight of a wall of white liquid descending towards him, "NOOOOOOOOOOO!".
* * *
In the meantime, on the world of Rachuk
Admiral Kraken had finished reviewing his troops when a spot of white liquid dropped onto his chest, slightly discoloring his uniform. Growling, he glanced upwards to sight a bird as it settled onto it's nest on the roof of a local guard tower. With that one, unfortunate incident, his day on Rachuk was finished. Bidding farewell to the local Commanders, he made his way back to his shuttle. He had to see an ensign about a possible promotion if he could carry out an important task again, and also he had to set things in motion for the next conquest.

Park Kraken reached the shuttle, and ordered it's ramp lowered in preparation for boarding. He was suprised that the shuttle door hadn't already been lowered. Finally, it started to come down, but then stopped midway, half open, half closed. A crew member of the shuttle came down, and started stomping on the ramp. Finally, it came the rest of the way down, but Park was yet to enter the shuttle, for he didn't like disfunctional ramps. Instead, he turned about, and ordered a contigent of troopers to switch their shuttle with his shuttle. With that done, he entered the Sentinel Shuttle, and was seated along with his entourage. With that done, they were off.

Major Kes Legal picked up his two cards and looked at them intentley. He began to smile, but then restrained himself, and instead put on his face a frown, the expression of a man who had crap for a hand. He threw a minimal amout of coins into the pot, and with that the dealer handed him the rest of his cards. He allowed his frown to deepen even as inside he was boiling with triumph. In his hand, he had the ultimate winning combination in the game of Sabaac. Now he just waited for his opponents to make their moves. One man held a smirk, and put about five hundred credits into the pot. Kes decided to meet him, and with that, and the other players throwing in their hands, the opponent layed out his hand. It was a pure twenty three Sabaac. His opponent, Flight Leader Koln of the 176th Fighter squadron, began to smile triumphantly, but then faltered as Kes's frown reversed into a full fledged smile. With that, Kes layed out his cards on the table, and let everyone see the Idiot's array that he had. With that Kes won the pot, one thousand credits in his possesion. He was preparing for another hand, when an alarm began to blare throughout their area of the ship. Every pilot knew what that was alarm was. It was a call for an emergency pilot meeting. Scooping their winnings into their pockets, and setting everything back to normal with mind numbing efficencey, the pilots suited up and ran to the local breifing chamber.
Several short minutes later, with all three hundred odd pilots in the breifing chamber, the flight leader of all squadrons, Commander Les Kleegar, began the breifing. "Pilots, we have another tough mission ahead of us. This time, we are going out to finished unfinished buisness. This concerns the same group of goverments that assaulted us a few standard months ago. Today marks the beginning of our retaliation against this goverment, by taking their primary shipyards over a world called Sat'Skar. In the way of captial ships, enemy opposition is minimal, with three capital ships, and several frigates providing a moderate defense. The real threat is in their elite starfighter squadrons. There are a total of two hundred fifty or so starfighters, most of them X-wing or E-wing class. Their pilots are among the best the goverments have to offer, and my sources tell me from intelligence that very large sums of credits were spent on their training. Are there any questions before I go on?" asked the instructor. There was one hand raised, a veteran of the 181st fighter group. "Are there any other types of starfighters besides the E-wings, and X-wings that we should take a particular interest in?" asked the Veteran. "Yes, there is one more type. We don't know how, but several TIE Defenders have come into the possession of this goverment. They have a total of eleven of these starfighters." said the Commander. "Now, are there any more questions?" asked the Commander. When none of the other pilots raised their hands, the Commander moved onto the next phase of the mission outlining. Now, this is what I expect will happen. We will send in our TIE Defenders, of which we have six squadrons free for anti-starfighter duty, straight up the middle to meet the enemy starfighter squadrons head on. We expect for both sides to fire proton torpedoes at each other, then break up into individual groups and go at each other with lasers. At this point our Starfury Assault Starfighters will enter the fray. Two equal groups will approach from each side, executing a marg sabl enclosure technique. From there the SAS fighters will be on their own, tasked to disable as many enemy starfighters as possible." stated the Commander, shifting his eyes from one groups of pilots to another. "After we have wiped out the enemy starfighters to such a degree that they no longer provide a threat against our captial ships, you will be free to make runs against any surviving enemy capital warships. After that, you will be recalled to the capital ships for a little R&R while we conduct negotiations with the planet after we have destroyed the enemy shipyards. If they refuse to surrender peacefully, then you may be called upon to launch strike missions in support of the ground troops that would be launched. That is all for now." said the Commander. With that, the breifing was concluded, and the pilots filed out of the chamber.
Over the next few days, the fleet traveled through hyperspace, and came out of it near the world of Almar. The fleet consisted of Grand Fleet Squadron Number Two, recently bolstered from additions from the ships orbiting Vladet. These included an Archangel class Star Destroyer, an Victory class Star Destroyer, an Illustrious class cruiser, and a Messiah Advanced Combat Support ship, which replace the Allegiance Destroyer as the flagship of the squadron. Commodore Braxus was very pleased to recieve these nice additions to his fleet. The fleet squadron now stood at a strength of eight capital ships, ten picket ships, and a few hundred starfighters. Also traveleing with the fleet was a squadron of four capital ships intended to replace the two Aegis cruisers currently on patrol duty in the Almar system. Almar will be the staging point from which the fleet launches it's foray against the enemy world. But before that can begin, first a probing mission would be conducted in order to determine just what the strenght of the current enemy forces orbiting their world is.

Oh One hundred hours in the Sat'Skar planetery system......
The little probe droid emerged from hyperspace well within the system proper, and began to scan the surronding area for any and all warships, freighters, commercial traffic, and any other activity going on at the time. It noted seven large captial ships orbiting the planet, identfying them as four Defender class Star Destroyers, one Nebula class Star Destroyer, one Endurance fleet Carrier, and one Republic class Star Destroyer. It transferred this information back to headquarters as it moved on down the list. Seen in orbit also was a squadron of six Escort Frigates, flying together in close formation. It took note of their orbits, and markings, before moving on to the next set of ships. Flying in scattered orbits and various patrol lanes constituted eighteen corvettes, most of the Marauder class, modified, and twenty five gunships, all of the Warrior class. Also very many starfighters were seen, including squadrons of up to four or six squadrons apparently out on training manuevers. Ten shipyards were sighted in orbit above the planet, most of them filled to capacity with Defender type Star Destroyers, most of which were past the 50% stage of completion. Also, groups of starfighters were under construction in the last two shipyards, totalling some one hundred twenty ships of the E-wing class which were nearing rapid completion. With this information transmitted, the probes job was completed, although it hadn't gotten to the commercial freighters, and civilian traffic yet. It's primary job of updating enemy squadrons was completed.
With this information transmitted to the Imperial fleet, the fleet was ready to finally make it's move on Sat'Skar.

Near the world of Almar
It was currently oh six hundred hours aboard the Imperial fleet as the various vessels swung around and into position in preparation for the jump into hyperspace. Two groups of ships would be involved in this attack. The first group would be responsible for eliminating any enemy forces around the system, as well as enemy merchant traffic, and landing forces on the planet's surface. After that was completed, a second squadron of ships would jump in, and proceed to destroy the shipyards, as well as providing surface fire support for the troops that had been landed on the planet's surface already. The second squadron of ships had been through intense training in their missions, but this would be the first time these ships had actually, or would actually, see combat. Now was the time for the first squadron to destroy the enemy forces however, and at this task they were more than readily equipped to do just that. The first squadron contained thirty two heavy capital ships, and forty picket ships, as well as several hundred starfighters of various types. The second squadron contained eighteen captial ships, and ten picket ships, as well as some one hundred starfighters of their own. Now was the time for the battle to begin for the takeover of Sat'Skar. With that borne in their minds, the Imperial officers ordered their ships into hyperspace.
* * *
Near the world of Sat'Skar, some five hours later
Commander Myn Hinger was the leader of a starfighter wing of thirty six starfighters, all the somewhat modern E-wing class, armed with 3 heavy laser cannons, and 16 proton torpedoes apiece. His squadrons consisted of six veteran fliers, including himself, and all the rest were rookies, being trained up to the squadron's standards for excellent pilots. His wife had called him this morning, telling him that she had a premonition about today. He took his wife very seriously, and so was on the watch for any suspicous activity.
Suddenly, vessels began decanting from hyperspace some fifteen kilometers from his position. Hinger's jaw dropped open as he recognized some of the smaller vessels as Imperial warships. Quick identification checks confirmed his fears that the other ships were Imperial as well. It seemed that the Imperials have finally come to strike back at his goverment for their actions against the Mid-Rim Protectorate. Hinger felt real fear coursing through his body as he tallied up the enemy vessels and compared them against the captial warships his own goverment had deployed to protect this construction planet. He wasn't liking the numbers that he was coming up with. The local merchant traffic, consisting of about two dozen bulk freighters, and one dozen commerical liners, scattered and ran for the exits. About half of the Imperial skirmish ships, twenty Intrepid Gunships, broke off from the main force and went after these ships, turbolaser cannons and proton torpedo launchers blazing away as they pursued the ships into hyperspace. Three Bulk Freighters were destroyed, along with one commerical liner and six hundred passengers aboard. With their commercial traffic scattered and destroyed, this left the Imperial fleet free to deal with the threat of the enemy fleet. Commander Hinger ordered his wing to assemble, and prepare for battle. Luckily, this had been a live fire exercise that they were conducting against drones, so his ships had fully armed laser cannons, and ten proton torpedoes apiece. Other nearby squadrons consisted of two wings of X-wing class starfighters, also out on training exercises, and also armed similary. As other starfighter squadrons rose from the planet below, and deployed from the capital fleet, his wing, and the other two starfighter wings were ordered to hold off the Imperial fleet for as long as they could, fighting a delaying action as the Sat'Skar defenders formed into a cohesive battlegroup. Not too far off to his port side, Commander Hinger saw a group of four Marauder corvettes forming up for an attack as well, having just come in off from long range patrol duty. Then, his signal board became complicated as new enemy signals appeared, enemy starfighters that were deploying from the enemy fleet, and forming up into attack groups that sped towards his wing, the other two wings, and the group of four Marauder corvettes. He issued orders to his own squadrons, and prepared for battle.......
* * *
Meanwhile, on board the flagship Tormentor.....
Admiral Kraken watched as his skirmish ships returned to formation after having so easily dispatched the enemy commercial freighters. Off to his port side, approaching his position, was a group of four Marauder Corvettes. Approaching from other vectors as well were three groups of thirty six starfighters apiece, or one wing apiece. Admiral Kraken turned to his aide to issue orders. "Deploy thirty six SAS Fighters, and twenty four TIE Defenders to stomp on that group of corvettes. The SAS Fighters are tasked to destroy weapons emplacements only, while the Defenders do the rest of the work. Also, deploy three squadrons each of TIE Defenders with orders to engage those three enemy wings and destroy them. As for the rest of the fleet, bring it up to cruising speed, and prepare to engage that enemy squadron forming up near the planet." ordered Kraken. Now all he had to do was sit back and wait.......

The Imperial fighters engaged the four group of enemy ships as the Imperial capital ship armada proceeded torwards the enemy capital ships arrayed against the Imperial fleet. In one group, composed mostly of rookies, and with the Imperial fighters being near elite status, the enemy fighters were quickly decimated, losing twenty fighters in exchange for three Imperial fighters damaged. In another engagement zone, the Imperials weren't faring so well, having novice pilots going up against a fighter group mixed up of veterans, and near novice pilots. In that engagement zone, the Imperials had lost ten fighters, in exchange for eight enemy fighters destroyed, and one damaged. And in the middle fighter versus fighter engagement zone the enemy had suffered twelve losses, in exchange for five Imperial fighters destroyed, and two more damaged. Finally, in the far off zone off to the Imperial armada's port side, the Imperial fighters engaging the marauder corvettes had suffered three losses, all TIE Defenders, and in exchange each Marauder corvette had so far suffered at least fifty percent damage to systems and hull capacity. So far the battle was going well, and Admiral Kraken had a feeling that it would stay that way for most of the battle. Then something unexpected happened. Four new reversions from hyperspace were detected, right in the middle of the Imperial fleet. Admiral Kraken ordered his fleet to emergency battle stations, and ordered that the new vessels be fired upon immediatly. The four new arrivals were all Marauder Corvettes, in off from patrol duty. Kraken breathed a silent sigh of relief, and then turned his attention back to the overall battle view as the new arrivals were being swiftly dealt with.
In short order of five minutes, the battle was swung in the Imperial's favour, with the four new arrivals already destroyed, and three of the Marauders in the original squadron destroyed or disabled as well. Of the more than one hundred enemy starfighters originally involved in the delaying action as it was now being seen as, seventy of the enemy fighters have been destroyed, in exchange for eighteen Imperial fighters destroyed. The enemy fleet had been decimated by deserters, enemy fighter squadrons, and even an Defender class Star Destroyer deserting the fleet and fleeing to other systems.
Ten hours later, it was all over. After a brilliant manuever executed by the Imperial fleet under the direction of Park Kraken, the enemy squadron was decimated, eighty five percent of their numbers destroyed and the remaining numbers fleeing the system, a couple of frigates and a couple of corvettes and sparse units of starfighters, being hassled by the remaining Imperial fighters, and skirmish ships. In all the Imperials had lost one Illustrious cruiser, a first in the Imperial fleet, being first weakened by concentrated fire, and then being rammed by an enemy Defender Destroyer that had been badly damaging, the two detonating in a titanic collision and fireball. Other losses had included a couple of skirmish ships, and some forty starfighters.
And then finally, after some three days of seige, the planetery system of Sat'Skar was in Imperial hands.
