Her cheeks get a bit pink and she fakes a laugh, scratching her head slightly with her left hand.
"Well, um, Ive seen them, and been in them, but never flown one before. Took me a long time to learn how to fly my Dragon and even longer to get used to it.
Besides, after just having a child, I need rest, not to fly a ship. But I can figure it out and set it to auto so I can rest. Shouldnt be too hard."

Kamon smiled.
"I can help you with that. I have a living ship myself. When we get to the staging point we'll meet up with my flag ship. Both ships will be on it. You can see then."
Kamon handed the child back to its mother.
"You know he's a Republic citizen now right?"

"Alright, then, that would help me out greatly."
She takes Damien back and cuddles him gently, rocking him from side to side slowly, working on getting him back to sleep. After he wakes up later, he would have his second feeding since being born.
"Yes, Kamon, I do. Your contact, Admiral Mikuri, informed me of that. As well as what would have happened were I to remain on that ship with Corona."
She sighs softly and shakes her head slowly.
"I never had a chance to properly thank Admiral Mikuri for his help in my rescue."
OOC EDIT: Sorry, had to fix the spelling of Mikuri's name...lol

Kamon sighed.
"He's dead. Corona made it back to wherever they were going and somehow the Alliance found out he was working for us. They decapitated him. Live on the net and everything."
He looked away.
"Sorry."

If she hadnt been holding Damien, something would have gone flying across the room she was in, either by the Force or by her own hand. Now, she felt the heavy weight of guilt settling upon her shoulders like a dead weight.
"If he hadnt gotten involved in my rescue...if he hadnt risked his life for me..."
She swallowed hard as a tear made its way down her cheek. She knew that he knew the risks involved in getting her out of there before they got their hands on Damien. She knew it was his decision, not hers. Yet, she still beared the weight of guilt for it.
"Why do I feel like its my fault he died?"
She wasnt even aware she spoke out loud, but it came out in a whisper either way.

He shook his head.
"It's not your fault. He and Piotr volunteered for the assignment. Our Intel head let them take it because no one else wanted it."
He gave her a weak smile.
"He did what he thought was best."

She knew Kamon was right, and she nodded slowly, weakly, watching Damien sleep through it all.
"Then why wont the guilt of it all go away?"

"Guilt is hard to get rid of."
He pulled up a chair and sat down across form her.
"Give it some time. I've lost a lot of people that were my friends and compatriots. I've never done any real harm to anyone. Every military campaign I was in failed. I lost a lot of good men and women for no reason."
He blinked a few times.
"You learn to get over it and move on or be stuck in your past."

"Yeah, I know. But it just....hurts....right now to know that someone who risked his life to help is now dead because of it."
That was her Jedi side talking. If she were Sith, shed have killed him herself and then went after Corona, not caring that they were dead after it was all over, only that shed have her revenge.
It was funny, how much shes changed since her Sith days.

Kamon just looked at her.
"When I was younger, I got trapped in a burning building by two sith. A friend of mine who happened to be a bit older and stronger in the Force at the time came to my aide and attacked the Sith. I was able to get away but my friend was killed. So were the Sith, but he didn't deserve that end."
Kamon shook his head.
"Life in this galaxy is far from fair and everyone risks their life just by living. There's nothing we can do to change that fact."
