Personal Craft Escape In route to Thosa

"I can't thank you again for swinging us by Thosa."

The admiral looked up from his meal and smiled.

"If you thank me one more time, I'll have you pushed out the damn airlock! Thosa is on the way. And after those last quarter earnings you guys got... I guess I owe you one!"

Sol and Tinsan were at the end of their all too short vacation. They had accompanied Vice-Admiral Wilkar on the shakedown cruise of his completely remodeled space yacht.

"Hey Willy! Can I have some of this?" Tinsan held up a bottle of red wine from Naboo.

"Go right ahead Tinsan."

Sol rolled his eyes. Tinsan made a wonderful assistant/accountant/chef, but sometimes he acted like a child. Sol made a mental note to talk to Tinsan about his level of maturity a little later. At least Wilkar was taking the nick name Tinsan had given to him in stride.

"Now... what I don't understand Willy, is what a Kuati like yourself is doing gallivanting around the Commonwealth in a Coriellian stock freighter?"

"When my company was busy going to hell, I thought it might be a good idea to make my exit in something less obvious. Star cruisers tend to attract a little bit of attention... prick.

Tinsan had gained a nickname as well.

Wilkar's yacht, the Escape, had been through many changes lately. The large cargo bays had been taken out in favor of lavishly furnished staterooms. The landing bays no longer carried a short squadron of defense fighters but landing cubicles for quests. Though, the yacht still had some subtle vestiges of the past. The large bantha leather chair that Sol sat in bore the gold grain letters of the KCA seal.

"Mr. Wilkar." The voice of the yacht's pilot sounded over the ship's intercom system. "We are coming up on Thosa."

"Thank you pilot. Keep us on this course."

* * *

The Escape's pilot took the ship between the orbits of the planet's two moons. Thosa had no atmosphere, so their descent was smooth. Flight control directed them to the planet's only city, obviously. Thosa City consisted of a large dome. The dome contained a large green park type recreation area. Smaller grey and black buildings were connected to the dome by narrow tunnels. Sol could see large rovers that he was sure were used to take miners back and forth between the mines and the city.

* * *

"Well... I guess this it guys..." Wilkar said as they made their way across the indoor landing bay.

"Thanks again Wilkar. Haha... Can't shove me out the airlock now!"

Sol was surprised when he didn't see a smile come to Wilkar's face. The man was watching a mob of people approaching the ship.

"We need to leave." Sol and Tinsan bent down to pick up their bags. "Forget them. Get back on the ship. I'm going to unhook those fuel lines. Tell the pilot to forget the checklist. We're going to make a cold start."

The two ran for the ship. Sol did some calculations in his head. At the speed, the mob was approaching, Wilkar could unhook the lines, but he would not make it back to the ship before he was overtaken.

Sol watched in horror as ten crazed looking miners converged on Wilkar. The Admiral fought with the same fury and reckless abandon of someone half his age. Picking up a loose piece of steel, he swung it around keeping the miners at bay. But, it was in vain. He couldn't keep a whole mob back. Someone caught him in the back of the head with a stun baton.

"Doesn't this thing have defense blasters or anything!?!" Sol screamed at the pilot.

"We do, but the accuracy sucks! We'll hit the admiral too... These are striking miners. They're just going to take him hostage. We'll be back for him..."

Damn straight...

Personal Craft Galant Wind in route to Thosa

"So tell me again, Nina. What exactly did Sol have to say in regards to Vice-Admiral Wilkar?"

"According to Mr. Nyhammers transmission, when the Vice-Admiral's ship approached the planet using routine methods. Upon landing, the three men, Tinsan, Sol, and Wilkar, exitted the ship which was quickly couples for refueling," she read the notes flawlessly. "Mr. Nyhammer and his assistant set their luggage down. When they looked up a mob was approaching."

Killian listened with rapt attention, hoping to catch something that he hadn't heard the first couple of times that Nina had gone over the notes. Everything was crucial in a situation like this.

"Vice-Admiral Wilkar went to unhook the ship and ordered Mr. Nyhammer and Tinsan to get back on the ship. They said that the Vice-Admiral was quickly surrounded and taken. It's suspected that the culprits were disgruntled miners."

Nodding slightly, Killian took a puff of his cigar and then stubbed it out on the ash tray. Rolling forward onto his feet and out of the chair, he walked to one of the viewports and stared out at the whiteness of hyperspace. His hands were clasped behind his back and for a long moment he didn't speak.

"Sir?"

"I'm fine, Nina. Just worried about the ramifications of what this means. I'm glad Sol was able to get away from them, but this is a big problem. We can't allow the Vice-Admiral to remain in hostile hands even if it has no bearing really on CTI. I'm going to have to negotiate for his release."

"Two minutes to Thosa!" The pilot suddenly called out. Killian turned away from the viewport and walked back to his seat. Spinning it around into the forward seated position, he sat down and buckled himself in.

"Make it as smooth as possible. I don't want to lose my lunch."

* * * * *

The whiteness outside of the viewport suddenly became streaks of white, then lines of white, and then pinpoints of light. The stars of the galaxy seemed so distant in comparison to the planet that suddenly loomed in front of the Galant Wind. Thosa was a planet without atmosphere, more of a barren rock than a planet. But it was full of minerals and other materials that drew the mining companies.

As the ship pushed down towards the domed city after making all the necessary calls, the people on the ship half expected starfighters to come out and attack them. It never happened and the ship quickly set down in the stall designated to them beforehand. The hatch remained closed.

* * * * *

"I know we have some weapons stored on this ship somewhere. I put them on here almost right after I bought it."

Killian dug through one of the many compartments in search of the weapons. Not finding them in the one he was in, he went to the next one and opened it up. Almost as soon as he did, he pulled out a crate and set it on the floor. Popping it open, he pulled a couple state of the art blasters and passed them around.

"Everyone carries one on them at all times. Precautions are necessary in this situation. For now I suggest we set them on stun. I don't think we really have need to go about killing anyone."

Leaving the crate on the floor, he walked forward and sat down in one of the chairs in the cockpit. The pilot sat next to him going over a checklist that would make it so they could lift off in a minimal time if that became necessary.

"Give me a communications line with whoever is in charge, will you?"

The pilot set the checklist down and then flipped a few switches and after a few moments he nodded to Killian.

"To whomever is currently listening to me, my name is Killian Holmes and I am the co-owner of the corporation known as Commonwealth Technologies and Industries. I believe you have Vice-Admiral Wilkar as your hostage. I am here to negotiate his release. Please respond."

That said, Killian sat back in his seat to wait for the response that would soon come. If he knew the situation well enough, they would contact him in roughly ten minutes with their demands. Then the real work would begin.

Wilkar opened his eyes.

He appeared to be in some kind of janitor's closest. His vision was still a little blurred, but he recongized a floor buffer and a particularly crusty looking mop. Wilkar turned his eyes to the ceiling. The closet had an ventilation, but Wilkar could tell that the grate had been sealed from the outside.

Fucking miners... always paranoid...

Wilkar took a deep breath to calm himself. Breathing was painful. The mob had surely broken one of his ribs.

The closet door swung, nearly hitting the vice-admiral due to close quarters of the closet. A large hairy looking man stood in the door. His beared extended down below his chest. The heavy looking miner's clothes he wore seemed permanently stained by dust. The only thing on him not covered in dust was a red clothe tied around his upper arm.

"This way... Admiral," he added sarcastically.

The miner led him down a bleak corrider into another small room. In the middle of the room, stood a tripod with holocam mounted on top of it.

"Here you go boy..." The miner handed Wilkar a piece of flimsi and today's newspaper. "When the camera turns on start reading off this here paper. While you read hold the news paper up... got it boy?"

Wilkar nodded as the man took his place behind the holocam. HE signaled for Wilkar to begin reading.

"This is Vice-Admiral Wilkar of Commonwealth Naval Command. I am in good health. I have been taken captive by the miners of Thosa Mining Corporation. I will be held in their custody until a new contract is negotiated. These are their demands:

"One, a ten percent increase in their weekly wages.

"Two, one week off a month to visit their families.

"Three, more on world entertainment.

"Four, health coverage for their families.

"Five, a larger central terraformed area.

"Six, a slushy machine.

"I repeat..."

Aboard the Galant Wind in dock on Thosa

"What in the name of the Force...."

As Killian listened to the list of demands for the second time through, he heard again exactly what he had though he'd heard the first time. Vice-Admiral Wilkar had definately been given something to read for the audience. That didn't surprise him.

"Did they ask for a slushy machine? What do they think mining is? A party?"

No response had been received in regards to the transmission that Killian had sent out not more than a few hours ago. They'd half expected that the lack of a response meant that the miners were going to be coming to get them. However, when the transmission with Vice-Admiral Wilkar came, no miners had as of yet shown up on their doorstep.

"What they have demanded seems fair enough I believe. Except for the week off maybe. What I would do is give them two weekends off every month but stagger them so that we would still be operational."

"That seems to be a fair plan for everyone," Nina chimed in.

"It does, doesn't it? Maybe we can benefit from the kidnapping of Vice-Admiral Wilkar. Granted we shouldn't be trying to play this into our hands considering the severity of the situation, but it's too good a position to give up."

"I'm not sure I understand, sir."

Killian turned and smiled to his assistant before taking a seat in the chair across from her.

"It goes like this, Nina. The miners have in their possession a very high ranking official in the Commonwealth military. They have them as a bargaining chip that they can use to get what they want. With me so far?"

Nina nodded in response.

"They have made a set of demands using their hostage as the giver of the list of demands. All of the demands seem reasonable and it would make sense that the mining corporation here on Thosa would meet them. Wouldn't it?"

She nodded again.

"My guess is that the mining corporation won't even attempt to meet their demands because they wont negotiate. Not when they can go out and higher new miners and do a lot less work cleaning up the mess. What if we, CTI, offered them a contract that they couldn't refuse and meet their list of demands?"

"So you're saying we should negotiate with the miners themselves instead of with the mining corporation?"

"Exactly."

"That's crazy, but it might work."

"It will work and it will get us a new operable mine with very happy employees, Nina. Thosa will become part of the Commonwealth because the only people here are the miners and with them working for us, this planet becomes ours. All we have to do is get the miners to revolt against the Mining Corporation after we express to them that we can meet their demands with a few revisions."

A broad smile loomed on Nina's face.

"Nina I need you to get me a list of all the resources we have available and our current funds and give them to me. When you have that, check our list of stockholders against the people that run this mining corporation. I don't want to upset anyone that owns part of the company through stocks."

"Yes, sir."

As she moved off to do what he had asked, he sat back in his seat, steepled his fingers against his chin, and smiled.

"I'm sorry, Vice-Admiral Wilkar. You're just going to have to stay in captivity a little bit longer."

"If you want to be taken seriously, you probably should not have asked for a damn slushy machine," Wilkar told the miner, shaking his head.

The miner, whose name Wilkar had deducted to be Brochen, stopped in his tracks, turning around to face he Wilkar, he pulled his back and slapped Wilkar across the face. Wilkar groaned in pain, spitting a tooth out that had been knocked loose.

"Well, if you like slushies that much..." Wilkar said, pushing his luck.

Luckily, the miner chose to ignore the comment.

Wilkar checked his chrono. "Just a matter of time... Can I get something to eat?" At that, Wilkar was shoved back into the closet.

Twenty minutes later a younger, less important looking, miner returned with a tray of food.

"What is this?"

"Bantha Wings, Brosi potatoes, and a bottle of Lomin-Ale, Vice-Admiral Wilkar.

Holding up a "wing," Wilkar asked, "Tell me son, where do Banthas hide their wings?"

The young man shrugged, explaining that the box had indeed said Bantha wings.

Sighing, Wilkar told the miner to carry on with his other duties.

“I have been ordered to watch you eat. You could use the utensils as weapon or tool to escape.”
“Paranoia…” Wilkar grumbled.

Ten minutes later, after forcing down the tray of food, Wilkar commented, "you guys should have demanded better food. I mean… Dear Lord, get unionized."

You could call Killian paranoid if you wanted to, but he acted the way he did for certain reasons. He'd asked Nina to get him those two things in the event that the miners asked him what he had to offer them that their current company could not. That and he always liked to be prepared with plenty of information on hand just because it made him feel better.

For the moment he sat in the same chair which he had earlier occupied, his blaster laying in his lap as he did. Nina was furiously working on getting the information from the databanks on Brosi, but was having a hard time of doing it because there was some sort of interference keeping her from getting through to the nearby planet.

Killian had dozed off about an hour earlier. He'd gotten tired of waiting on Nina to get the information they needed. The pilot and co-pilot had started up a game of sabacc and had asked him to join but he had declined. Sabacc was just not something that he was good enough at to go betting his money around.

Someone shook Killian slightly in the chair and for a few moments it looked like he wasn't going to get up. Finally, though, he roused and looked up at the pilot who was standing over him with his blaster in his hand.

"What is it?"

"There's an angry mob approaching and they have a lot of weapons. I don't think they're coming to play nice."

Grabbing his blaster from his lap and checking to make sure that it was still set to stun, he jumped to his feet and walked to a viewport so that he could see out. There was a group of about twenty people approaching them with weapons of varying size and firepower.

"Lower the ramp."

The pilot pressed a button and the ramp lowered from the belly of the ship. Almost immediately the advancing miners came to a stop. Turning from the viewport, Killian walked to the ramp, knelt down, and then laid down. Sliding forward so that he could just barely see out of the ship, he aimed his weapon and started firing randomly.

One of the miners was hit by a stun bolt and when the rest saw this, and the oncoming torrent of stun bolts, they turned around and bolted back the way they had come. With a smile on his face, climbed to his feet and walked back into the ship while the ramp rose back up to the ship.

"I don't think they expected us to fight back against them. Either that or they're just a bunch of wimps."

The pilot and the co-pilot guffawed as they watched the miners retreat. They, at least, were getting a good laugh out of it. It even made Killian chuckle slightly.

"Sir, I have the information."

Killian turned to look at Nina.

"Excellent. I shall send the initial broadcast now and see what they have to say in response."

She nodded as Killian set his blaster down on the ground and walked towards the cockpit once more. Sitting down in one of the seats, he motioned for the pilot to patch him through to the same frequency that the miners had broadcast on. When he had it, the pilot nodded and Killian started to speak.

"My name is Killian Holmes and I am here representing Commonwealth Technologies and Industries, otherwise known as CTI. We are a firm the has branches in everything from research and development to mining.

"I was a listener to your list of demands that need to be met before Vice-Admiral Wilkar can be released. They all seemed reasonable to me with the exception of the week off. CTI would offer you two weekends off a month on rotation and not in succession. That would be six days off a month as we will include Fridays as your travelling day.

"If this offer is acceptable to you, and you wish to work for CTI instead of the company that currently runs Thosa, respond to this in the same manner that you did when you made your demands. We will assist in the transfer of Thosa.

"And if the mining corporation is listening in, which I am sure they are, don't even think you can stop us. After all, we'll increase the miners pay by 15% instead of ten and I know you wont match that."

With a smile on his face, he cut off the transmission and sat back in the chair. Looking over at the group of people in the room, he smiles.

"Now we wait for them to deliberate."

"Your services are required once more... boy..." growled Brochen as a feral looking grin grew across his face.

Wilkar slowly stood up. Simple movements were becoming more and more painful as time went on. The broken bones were taking a toll on his body. Brochen led Wilkar to same simply adorned room.

Handing Wilkar a script and a newspaper, he reminded, "read the script and-"

"I know the drill asshole," interrupted the vice-admiral.

The older miner snarled. Wilkar would pay for that little retort, but not until he got this message recorded. He found himself caring very little. Wilkar was tired, sick, and just ready to go home. If he was unconscious when the miners finally released because Brochen had beat the shit out of him a little too hard, oh well...

Brochen signaled him to begin reading.

"Attention Commonwealth Technologies and Industries, this is Vice-Admiral Wilkar of Commonwealth Naval Command. I still remain in good health."- Wilkar gave a cough for dramatics.-"I have been asked to inform you that the workers of the Thosa Mining Corporation have excepted your offer though they are displeased with your show of violence in the last hour.

"My release will take place in one standard hour. Please have a medical staff standing by." Wilkar added.

"The miners of Thosa await your responce. Thank you."

After knocking another one of Wilkar's teeth out, Brochen and Wilkar shook hands.

"That'll do boy. That'll do..."

Rubbing his jaw, Wilkar nodded, adding, "I need a drink..."

"Yeah, well tell them I don't like it when a bunch of angry miners come at my ship with weapons. Did they ever think of that? Besides, it was only a bunch of stun bolts. I wasn't trying to kill anyone. That guy I hit is up and moving right now. We are glad that you have accepted and we will speak with you when you release Vice-Admiral Wilkar to us. Until then."

That said, Killian clicked off the connection once more and turned to the rest of the group of people in the ship with a smile. His plan had worked perfectly and there was really only one thing left for them to do.

"Ladies and gentlemen we have just arranged a contract with the miners of Thosa. This is a good thing for CTI, but it also poses a problem. The Thosa Mining corporation does maintain a strong military presence here. They have yet to show their faces, but I believe they are watching.

"When they show themselves it will get ugly and it will get ugly fast. We have encroached on their territory and they don't want us taking over just because we control the miners."

As if expecting someone to come knocking, Killian turned and looked out the window behind him. His eyes searched the docking bag for a moment before returning to the others.

"I believe the only reason that the mining company hasn't forced their will onto the miners is that they are holed up somewhere in this facility and the risk for loss of life is too great for the corporation to do anything. So, we're going to have to do something ourselves. But, we'll wait to plan that until after we speak with the miners."

Killian rolled to his feat and glanced among the group present.

"Silvio, you are a trained medical technician, correct?" Killian asked the co-pilot.

"I am."

"Good. You will accompany us to pick up Vice-Admiral Wilkar. You'll be charge of getting him back to Sol's ship while Nina and I work on how to deal with the mining corporation with the miners."

"Yes, sir."

"We've got a half hour until things get under way. Everyone relax, take a seat, drink something. It's gonna be hectic after that."

An Hour Later

A contingent of heavily armed miners was approaching the docking bay, their eyes watching everything around them. Killian stood at the entrance to the docking bay along with Nina and Silvio; Sol had even decided to join them. The miners walked up to them and stopped only five feet away.

"First things first, welcome to the Commonwealth and welcome to Commonwealth Technologies and Industries as employees. By accepting our offer, and when we overthrow the mining corporation with your help, Thosa will become part of the commonwealth.

"Now, will you be so kind as to return our Vice-Admiral to us? He's quite important to the Commonwealth and I must make sure he is quite healthy."

Killian stood quite still and waited for the miners to let the Vice-Admiral go. His eyes met those of the Vice-Admiral and Killian offered him a smile and a nod before looking back at the lead miner. He waits to hear what the man will say.

Wilkar waited in the hall still nursing his sore jaw as the miners suited up. They were loading up on all types of heavy weapons and body armor. It seemed to be obvious that the striking miner paranoia stereotype had held true through this... 'incident.'

"Show time boy," said Brochen.

Wilkar nodded, and slowly came to his feet. His back ached like he was thirty years older. A quiet, recuperating vacation was definitely forthcoming. Hapes perhaps?

I never did get back to that girl I met at Commonwealth-Hapes Cooperation Ball...

"I guess that's being an admiral... almost no free time," Wilkar mumbled.

"What did you say?" questioned one of miners.

"Fuck off. You just ruined a pleasant thought," answered Wilkar.

The miner opened his mouth but then closed it in favor of silence after receiving a stern look from Brochen. The miners knew that they couldn't touch the admiral. Mainly due to the fact, that in less than five minutes, that smart ass would be back in the hands of their new bosses... with no extra black eyes or missing teeth.

The group reached the docking bay. Wilkar could see Killian Holmes and Sol Nyhammer, and the always stunning Nina Colville along with some other CTI. employees. Killian and Brochen talked business briefly as Sol led Wilkar over to someone Wilkar did not recognize but assumed to be someone trained in medicine.

"About damn time CTI. See if I ever give you a ride again Nyhammer," said Wilkar, scowling.

Sol looked over at Killian and shrugged. Killian mouthed something. Sol was not positive, but he was sure it was something along the lines of what an ungrateful smart ass.

Killian had indeed mouthed something to Sol in regards to the Vice-Admiral and it has indeed been what an ungrateful smart ass. As much as he liked the admiral, a little respect for the fact that they had just freed him from the grips of some crazy miners would have been an appropriate response. As much as he wanted to lay into the Vice-Admiral, there were more pressing matters to be attended to. He cleared his throat.

"Ok, now that we have settled the matter of the Vice-Admiral, I think it would be much safer for us if we were to head back to wherever it is you guys are holed up. I'm pretty sure that the Thosa Mining Corporation is probably watching us right now, ready to pounce if we give them the opportunity."

The one that they call Brochen simply nodded his head and motioned for Killian and Nina to follow them. Blaster in hand just in case it became necessary, the two CTI people walked along behind the group of miners, both of their eyes swivelling to everything around them, watching for any signs of an enemy that they couldn't yet see.

The streets were all but deserted, most of the people that usually walked amongst them were hiding out in one spot and watching for the Thosa mining corporations forces to show up. When they did the mining corporation would take heavy losses. The miners were absolutely determined to get this new contract with CTI it seemed.

As they rounded a corner, Brochen led them towards a rather nondescript building only a few door down from the corner itself. Off in the distance down the street they could see some soldiers walking door to door, but whether they saw the miners and the CTI people was not immediately known as they continued walking door to door even as Killian was ushered through the door and into the building.

What greeted him was a rather large building that was almost completely jam-packed with miners. Some of them, it seemed, were still hiding out in their homes because this building lacked the capacity to hold them. The ones that were here simply watched as Killian and Nina were led into the building. They all held weapons.

Brochen led them down the hall towards a room with a rather thick door. Opening it, he pushed Killian and Nina inside and then followed himself. The lights were bright when they finally came on and it took them a few moments for their eyes to adjust to the light. When they finally did they were greeted with a small office full of maps and the like.

"Ok, so what was your plan for taking care of the mining corporation? We don't have much time before they figure out we're here." Brochen said as he moved to sit behind the desk in the room.

"I need to see some maps first. Which of these is a map of this facility?"

Brochen pointed to the one directly behind him and Killian walked around the desk to examine the map. If he had paid close enough attention, they were actually really close to where the mining corporations executives were probably sitting and letting this all play out. The only problem was how were they going to get past the security forces?

Tapping a finger against his chin, he stared at the map for a long time and then stared at the facility where the execs would be. After about five minutes of staring at the building, Killian turned to look at Brochen.

"Do you have a map of this building in particular? One that shows all the duct systems and such?"

"Yeah, somewhere in here. Let me find it."

The man started pulling open drawers on his desk and digging through the papers and such that could be found inside the drawers. For a long time, Killian stood there wondering why this guy would have such a map as what they wanted. More a blueprint than a map, really. Soon enough, though, Brochen was holding out a rolled up sheet of paper.

Killian took the blueprints and walked around to the front of the mans desk where he unrolled it and laid it on the table. It showed every set of ducts in the building, including the ones big enough for people to fit in.

"Which room houses the CEO of the Thosa mining corporation?"

Brochen pointed to a room almost right in the middle of the entire building. As he did so, Killian traced his finger outwards from the room using the ducts and soon found his finger at the edge of the building. He tapped his finger on the duct marked there.

"This is our point of entry and to make things better, it's located in an alley off the main road. Can you get us there without drawing attention?"

"Leave it to me, boss. You'll be inside in no time."

Three Hours Later

With only a few stunned soldier laying in the alley behind them, and a couple of miners standing guard, it had been rather easy to penetrate the perimeter of the building. As it was, Killian and a handful of soldiers, having left Nina behind at the other building, were climbing through the duct towards the room in question.

As they neared it, the lead miner held up his hand for them all to stop. He was right near the vent that would be their point of entry and was listening to what was going on in the room. After a few moments of quiet listening he passed word back that the CEO was heading to a meeting room and that when they exited the duct they would be alone. Killian nodded and the group began to lower themselves out of the duct.

Aftering exitting from the tight, cramped space, Killian adjusted his suit and made sure his blaster was still set to stun. After that, he motioned for the miners to open the door and check the hall.

"Coast is clear."

Killian nodded and motioned for them all to move out into the hall. Upon doing so, the miner that had been in the lead in the duct said he had seen them go right so Killian motioned for him to lead on. They turned right and walked down the hallway slowly, blasters at the ready.

They rounded a corner and were confronted with four security guards guarding the entrance to a single room. Killian and the others raised their blasters and opened fire, stunning the guards before they could even lift their weapons. As they slumped to the ground, Killian walked forwards towards the door they were guarding and motioned for two miners to open the double doors.

They did so and Killian strode forward into the boardroom with his blaster trained on the stunned people sitting at the table. A broad smile appeared on his face.

"Gentlemen, you are hereby kicked off this planet as it is now the property of the Commonwealth and under jurisdiction of Commonwealth Technologies and Industries. Thank you for being stupid and letting us take over through the offer of a new contract, you may now all leave the planet."
