Sylva winced as the Starwind rocked from yet another near miss. She was working as quickly as possible, for after all, a ship on autopilot was not especially good for her health. The deck gave another shudder and a blaring noise jerked her head up.

"It'll just have to do," she muttered as she shut the access panel and ran to the cockpit. "Knight to Leader, I'm ready to go. Can you get me some data on that flagship? Like where the weak spots are?"

2000...1000...

Every second the massive red starship was getting nearer, and the close misses were gettin porportionally closer.

"I dunno how much more of this she can take, Kach!"

"She'll hold togther. She always has before."

Somewhere in the back there was a groaning of loadbearing beams under stress. Under his breath Kach muttered, "Come on baby, stay together."

The enemy ship was nearly on top of them, and in one neat motion Kach flipped the ship over to run it right along the hull (making anti-fighter batterys virtually useless) and releasing 8 Proton Torpedos that detonated harmlessly against the ships massive shields.

"Damn that things tough!" he shouted.

Jesh's response, just a moment after Kach's, was muffled by a voice coming over the radio: "Knight to Leader, I'm ready to go. Can you get me some data on that flagship? Like where the weak spots are?"

Hearing the womans voice nearly made Kach's eyes pop out of his head. "Sylva!?!"
