Silus held his lightsabers in front of him, absorbing the force lightning.

"You'll have to do a little better then that Janus."

Silus kept his lightsabers in front of him, absorbing the rest of the attack.

"No, I won't."

Using a trick Janus had learned not to long ago, he messed with the gravitational pull on his body. By doing this a specific way, practically removing the gravitational hold on himself, he moved at the speed of light, far to fast for even the searching eye. In less than a moment he was behind Silus, swinging down on his unprotected head.

"You will have to do better"

((ooc: That was a bit much there Janus, your still a disciple. I'll go with it, though.))

First he was there, then he was gone. Silus's eyes searched, looking for where Janus had gone. He spun around, bringing his lightsabers up in time to stop the attack, mere inches from his head.

Damn, if I hadn't of sensed him with the Force, I would've been split down the middle.

(OOC: I have said this before. Regardless of my rank, I have learned this ability, and I know how to use it. Just because I was refused my rank doesn't mean I don't know, nor use, the abilities I learned when I was using the refused rank.)

Janus was not at all fased by the block. Quite the contrary, while Silus' hands and sabers were in the battle with his, he brought up his open hand, and again shot force lightning toward Silus, which at this close range would be quite difficult to block.

Silus sensed the attack, but he didn't react quickly enough. He flew back, blinding pain covering his body. He hit the ground and rolled, as the force lightning danced across his body.

He struggled and brought his lightsabers back up, absorbing the rest of the attack. He breathed heavily as smoke rose off of his clothes.

"Come now Silus, afraid of a little shock? HAHAHA!"

Janus lifted his left arm, sending out an arm of the force, that caught Silus around the neck and lifted him up off the ground. Janus quickly stepped back, putting himself out of saber range. He tightened his hold on Silus' windpipe.

"This has been fun," He said, with an evil glint in his eye. "But are you sure you want to continue?" Again he tightened his hold.

Silus dropped his two lightsabers, deactivating once they left his hold. Silus soon found himself struggling for air. He felt the man's grip increase, and soon Silus's air was almost completely cut off. He was choking to .

Silus found that his anger for this man was great. Using his wrath to his advantage, he lifted his arm, using the force to knock Janus back a few feet. Silus fell coughing to the ground, breathing once again.

He looked up once he had regained his breath, "You win Janus. But, this won't end between us."

Janus smiled maniacally. "Feel free to challenge me when you feel you are worthy."

He turned his back to the sith apprentice, and began walking away. "I look forward to it."

"As will I."

Silus turned away from the man, moving back towards the city. He gave a quick glance at the burning reckage of his old ship.

Looks like I'll have to steal another.

He had lost this fight. He would train himself, make sure that he improved in his abilities.
