“As did I.” Trazu admitted. “Though whether it was the fear for his life or that I got some information from him….well…only he knows.” Trazu remained quiet, deep in thought, until he had exited the arena. “I need to inform the others of what we found out: they are no doubt eager to hear it. If you want, you can go to Lavality and tell her what we have discovered, provided she is awake. And have Lavality tell Asri that I’ll be back to her as soon as I can please…I know she can’t see you.” The comment he made gave him pause, something about the words hinting at a possible reason why the spirit couldn’t get back into Lavality. “I think I know why you can’t get into Lavality anymore…” He said. “But I need to confirm it…when you get to the clinic, try to possess Asri and tell me what happens.”

***

Silliss felt a bit hurt that Tiosk had actually hit him, but recognized his own foolishness quickly. “I…I’m sorry father…” He said softly. “I…keep forgetting that you are not like many T’Doshok that would throw away children that are useless to them…”

Tiosk snorted. “Such individuals are fools, blind to the truth that everyone is always worth something, always has potential if they are willing to look for it. Rissonik’s sire knew this when he found me as an orphaned young lad that liked to steal and took me in rather then turn me in. Always remember this son. It’s a lesson your sister’s….’father’…would do well to learn…isn’t that right Natira?” Tiosk glanced up just enough to spot Natira on the stairs, whose eyes widened like a child caught with it’s hand in the cookie jar. “You might as well come down Natira and meet your brother face to face.”

Lavality laid there until she saw someone near the door, it took her a moment to realize who it was. "Kasyyyk..." she said softly and rubbed her forehead.

Kasyyyk smiled and walked over to her, she stopped near the bed that Asri was sleeping in and attempted to concentrate, putting all focus into trying to possess her, but she found a barrier that was far stronger than the one she had encountered around Lavality.

"Huh... still won't work," she said and turned back to Lavality who now wore an expression of confusion. "How are you?"

"Uh.. fine.. kind of dizzy though," Lavality said as she sat up, but once again she felt dizzy and laid back down. "ughs.. damn it," she grumbled.

Kasyyyk smiled. "I came by to see how you were doing, although if Asri wakes up tell her that Trazu will be down ok?" she said and the girl nodded. Kasyyyk then turned and left the infirmary and headed toward where she assumed Trazu was headed.

She got half way down the corridor before stopping. It seem's I can't possess Asri, in fact, the barrier around her is far stronger, unlike Lavality where I could get some distance in, Asri I couldn't.. she said telepathically to Trazu.

Silliss watched as Natira came down the stairs the rest of the way, his eyes widening a bit with shock: she indeed looked a lot like their mother. For a while they stared at each other. "Why do I get the feeling we've met before?" Silliss asked softly.

"Probably from the day of our hatching." Natira replied wtih a shrug.

"No...more recent then that." Silliss insisted. "Can't place it though."

"It will probably come to you later son." Tiosk said. "Sit down, both of you. Natira already knows, but you should know the real reason behind everything."

Silliss quirked an eye ridge, but did as he told, watching as Natira did as well.

~~~
~That confirms it then.~ Trazu said as he approached the manor. ~It's the nanotech that is keeping you from possessing Lavality. I realized this because I remembered how I couldn't read Asri's mind at all since I've known her and only figured out why not so long ago and her's has been active for much longer then Lavality's. Since you are a part of the Force, it's not a big stretch at all for the nanotech to be the reason behind your....'eviction' so to speak. Since Lavality is 'cured' of it now though, I wouldn't worry too much about possessing her.~
~~~

"I see...." Silliss said, softly. "So it wasn't mother's family behind this, but these 'Force Hunters' all along."

"Aye." Tiosk said with a nod. "What's more, my father was a noble, a leader of a Clan these bastards wiped out simply because he was a Force Sensitive."

"So that means both Natira and I are nobles as well, not only through our mother but through your father."

"Techniqually yes...." Tiosk said with a sigh. "But until we can confirm this in the database and find out what my father's name was, no one would likely believe us."

"It probably wouldn't be a good idea to go boasting it right now anyway." Rissonik said. "Not while these Force Hunters are on the loose."

"Speaking of which...I wonder how the interrogation is going...." Tiosk mused.

"Interrogation?" Silliss asked. "Oh! The man that attemped to take Lord Trazu's life earlier."

"Aye, he's a Force Hunter for sure. Hopefully Tiskus or Lord Trazu got something out of him."

Just then Trazu entered the manor, looking a little disturbed but had a look of seriousness on his face none the less. "You found something out son?" Rissonik asked.

"Not much, the bastard fought me until the very end." Trazu grumbled. "Only got a single name out of him: Rosk."

Kasyyyk stayed silent for several minute's, finally she let out a sigh. ~There's a problem with that 'eviction' though, Lavality and I are one in the same, meaning that unless I possess her, she'll realize that some of her force powers don't work.. I can't explain it to well as not even *I* understand it, just that it works that way.~ She said and walked into the armory. Around her several warriors were looking at the different weapons displayed on the ground, some looked to be contemplating on what to use, others seemed more interest in style.

~I also worry about what will happen if a Force Hunter discovers that she is in fact force sensitive, she may be a jedi, but she's young and still quite inexperienced despite taking on one of the Miknaks..~ she said, grumbling at the thought of another major battle.

~Perhaps we'll be lucky, maybe that group has decided to lay low for awhile and avoid any more confrontations. If that's so, then we'll be able to rebuild what was destroyed.... but... I worry about 'other' things that are closely related to the force and to the Jedi.. I speak of The New Order...~ She said, stopping at that name. She walked out of the armory and toward the courtyard, she stopped just short of the door.

She sensed another presence, similiar to the one she sensed when Lavality had briefly engaged the force hunter. ~Err... we got company... I think one.. no.. two force hunters.. one's headed your way the others headed to the infirmary..~ she said and bolted for the infirmary.

"Rosk eh?" Tiosk grumbled. "That name could fit...oh...a few dozen T'Doshok in Hsskhok alone."

"It's a start." Rissonik said with a sigh.

"Aye. I suppose we could 'discretely' check out every 'Rosk's' activities, for, if that's the only name you got, it's probably the name of the one that hired him."

"Quite likely." Trazu agreed, though he looked a little distracted.

"What's up son?" Rissonik asked.

"Nothing I was just...'talking' to someone." Trazu said. "Force related stuff."

"Who?" Naosha asked. "Can't be Silonik...can it?"

Trazu put him his hand for silence as he obviously was getting another 'message'. "Kazuk....we have two more assassins in the grounds! One heading this way!"

"I'm not feeling so safe here anymore father..." Natira muttered.

"I'm getting sick of this as well..." Tiosk growled as he and the other's took up defensive positions. "Where is he Lord Trazu?"

Eveyrone watched as Lord Trazu seemed to blank out as he searched for the assassin. "On the side of the manor, side close to the Great Hall. He's stopped...hmm....he must be waiting for something. Tiosk, head outside would you, but wait at the front."

"Ok, how will I know where to strike." Tiosk asked, as he drew one of his daggers in one hand and a fighting dagger in another. "You know these guys are likely cloaked like all the others."

"Trust me...you'll know." Trazu said with a grin as he moved off deeper into the manor, toward the side where he detected the assassin.

Lavality was just getting out of bed when she heard the door to the infirmary open. She stopped and stared, her eye-sight hadn't completely returned to her though as she couldn't see anything enter.

She closed her eyes in an attempt to use the force, but to her dismay she was finding it difficult. This is odd, wonder if it has to do with the illness I had... she thought as she searched the room until finding something, it was faint almost indistinguishable from everything else in the room.

As she watched it, it watched her with hateful eyes. An assassin? Another one? God.. how many more are they going to send? I'm getting sick of this shit.. she said and wondered to observe the faint signature.

It then moved toward the table that Asri was on, but then side stepped toward her and behind. She didn't move, then suddenly the cabinates full of medical instruments flew out and toward the faint signature. She heard a grunt, realizing that it was actually a person and not a false reading.

She didn't see it, but one of the tools, a very sharp instrument landed near Asri. The rest went into the assassin, causing him to beat-feet out of the infirmary and into the awaiting open arms of the warriors, well, except these warriors had blade's with them and weren't so 'open' to seeing another intruder.

The man was about to attack when a sharp blow to the back of the head sent him into spiraling onto the ground, knocked out cold. "Another one?" The warrior said as he picked up the assassin by the back of the collar. "Kazuk... the Sha'tor is going to have our hides for not being able to spot these guys," the other said.

"Well, maybe he'll decide to install that anti-cloaking device that was availible some months ago?" the other said as he lifted the warrior up and began to carry him. "Hmmm... might want to suggest it.. but 'after' he's done with this one," the one not carrying the assassin said. Neither seemed to have realized though that they had just come from the infirmary, and that there were two people 'in' said infirmary.

With a heavy sigh, Lavality laid back down on the bed. Ugh... what the hell just happened... she thought, placing her hand on her forehead. She saw spots as she stared up at the ceiling before once again blacking out.

Trazu kept an 'eye' on the assassin as he moved through the manor, working his way to the part of the manor that would get him closest to the assassin from the inside. The man was still staying still, but as he drew closer and was able to see more details via the Force he saw he wasn't really 'staying' still: it looked like he was attaching something to wall. Kazuk...a bomb no doubt! Trazu thought with a growl as he reached the spot.

Still seeing through the Force, he reached out with it seized the man, forcing him away from the device he was working on. Even through there was a wall between them, he could hear the man's cry of surprize. Trazu grinned, that would the be signal Tiosk needed.

~~~
Tiosk was tapping his foot as he leaned against the wall at the front of the manor, wondering just 'how' he was going to know when and where to strike. After a couple of minutes, he heard a cry of surprise and alarm from the side of the manor Trazu had pointed out. Now understanding, Tiosk grinned and moved to the side of the manor, toward the sound.
At first he saw nothing, but then he saw little clouds of dust being kicked up from the ground as the would be assassin obviously strangled against whatever Trazu was doing to him. Calmly he approached the cloaked man, whom stilled when he likely spotted him: too late, Tiosk had a bead on his position.
"Hmm...what do we have here?" Tiosk mused as he figured he was right next to the man. Putting away one of his weapons, he reached out and searched the air until he felt something. "This feels like an arm." He said as he followed the arm up. "Shoulder....neck....ah...there's the head." That hand curled into a fist and he struck the spot hard with his fist. He heard a grunt of pain as well as felt it in his own hand. Ignoring the pain his own hand he searched again and found the man still conscious.
"Humph, being stubborn are we?" Tiosk growled. "I can fix that." He lifted his other hand, the one with the fighting dagger. He heard a whimper from the man before he flipped it over so that the blade was pointing at the ground. Quickly, he struck the man again in the head, this time wtiht he pommel of his dagger. This time he heard the satisfying thud of the man's unconscious body hitting the floor and finally saw the man when the cloaking device fizzled out.
"Damn, this guy is just barely an adult." Tiosk growled as he looked at the man's youthfull face.
~Tiosk....~ A voice said...from no where.
"What?" Tiosk looked around, alarmed and disturbed.
~It's me Tiosk, Trazu. I'm speaking to you through the Force. Damn it's hard to talk to someone like this that isn't Force Sensitive....~
Tiosk grunted with annoyance. "Well out with what you want that couldn't wait until I got back inside." He growled.
~The man was putting something on the side of the house, I think it's a bomb. Do you see it?~
Tiosk studyed the wall and indeed found a small device that shouldn't be there. "Aye, there's something here." He leaned forward to get a better look at it. "Doesn't look active though, seems you got this guy just in time."
~Good, I'll have father get an engineer out there to remove it.~
"Alright, I'll see you inside with our 'guest'. Oh and Trazu..."
~Yes?~
"Don't talk to me like this again...it's disturbing...."
Two guards carrying the assassin slowly walked toward the mansion, the assassin out cold and a foul stench coming from him. "Man pissed his pants..." one warrior said in a disgusted tone.
***
Kasyyyk had arrived at the infirmary to find the wall just next to the door littered with medical instruments, she looked to find Lavality out cold on the bed. Ok.... that assassin was here now where did he go? she thought to herself and looked around again.
Trazu, I think the other assassin might already be in custody.. but.. uhh... you might have to repair the infirmary... she thought as she stared at all the broken equipment.
Trazu grinned as he started to head back to the living room where the others were waiting. Halfway there he got the message from Kasyyyk. ~If that’s the case it sounds like Lavality took care of the problem herself.~ He told her, rubbing his head as he felt a slight headache coming on. ~The one here is in custody, thanks to Tiosk’s help. If you sense any one else that shouldn’t be here let me know…I need to take a break from Force use for a while.~
“Well?” Rissonik asked as Trazu entered the living room and plopped himself down into a seat.
“Both would be assassins are in custody father.” Trazu replied. “Though we’ll need a bomb specialist to remove the device on the side of the manor.”
“Wonderful….” Rissonik said darkly. “I’ll get some on it right away. The last thing we need is a low ranking Clan member to get curious about it and end up blowing us all up.” While Rissonik was on the comm Tiosk and the two K’Satikur warriors came in with their quarry. Tiosk just dropped his prisoner on the floor while he walked off toward the kitchen.
“What did you want us to do with these guys Lord Trazu?” One of the warriors asked after noting Rissonik was a bit busy.
“Take them to the cells.” Trazu replied. “We’ll interrogate them later.”
The two K’Satikur nodded and one of them let go of their prisoner to pick up the one Tiosk brought in. “Great…leave me with the stinky one why don’t ya….” The other grumbled as they left the manor.
“Well I hope we get more info out of those two then the first one.” Tiosk said when he returned, an ice pack on one hand. When Natira gave him a questioning look he replied: “My hands aren’t conditioned for fist fighting.”
“Hopefully…and a lot more easily….I’m not up to doing any more mind reading right now.” Trazu said with a sigh. “I’m going to check on Asri and Lavality….” He got up and walked out.
Kasyyyk shook her head as she scanned the infirmary, her eyes then laid upon something that made her thankful that Asri was asleep. Ooooooh... that would've hurt she thought, walking past the bed that Asri was on and over to the one Lavality was on.
She scanned Lavality's mind and discovered that she was partially able to 'reconnect' to the girls mind but it was limited and she was barely able to do much other than see her thoughts.
What Kasyyyk had been able to see was what Lavality was dreaming; while brief, the girl was having a nightmare related to her encoutner with Miknak, her rapid eye movement was a testament to that.
