Once again, Garric was alone. Circumstances seemed to repeatedly repeat themselves in a way which left him abandoned, in one fashion or another. Now, Gash Jiren, his cousin and foster father, had left him for Yavin 4, on some damn fool idealistic crusade.
Of course, it had really been Garric's choice to stay. He could have left, could have gone with Gash on his mission of justice, or whatever the hell it was, but what would that have proven? Garric didn't believe in what Gash was saying. Assault without provocation was against the Jedi code. On the other hand, Gash had called the Jedi Code nonsense-
No, he'd been there before. It was a never ending cycle that seemed to chase itself around Garric's head; when it came down to it, Gash was wrong.
He'd met Gash at the Hermes the day he'd left, and their meeting had errupted into a fight which ended in Gash's proclamation of his ungrateful nature, and Garric's storming off. So now, he found himself back in the Jedi Council building in the center of Theed. The city Gash had assaulted.
