"Daddy sang bass,
Mama sang tenor.
Me and little brother would join right in there."

Thanks guys. Just got back. We were the first ones to play for the evening. The time limit per set is four minutes, and our song clocked in at just over two minutes and thirty seconds. It went well, the monitor situation was horrible so I was pretty much playing from memory, since I could hardly hear myself.

I saw maybe six gigs that I guessed would make it to the semifinals. There's a lot of young, young girls up there singing to a CD, kind of weird really. They're all good, but ... well ... it's hard to get excited when it's the same thing as everyone else.

And yes, Slas, I live in Minnesota.

Nah, everyone was alright. We stayed for almost two hours and listened to other people, then we hit the road and gorged on junk food.

We're working on the CD thing now.
