Okay. I just spent way to long trying to find a copy of this song on KaZaA, and every single one of them was corrupted, or purposely @#%$ over, or was part of some stupid mix... you know when you listen to a downloaded song and it suddenly starts going crazy?
Like that.
So - does anyone have the CD (of the same name, by Everlast) who would be willing to rip the song and send it to be via email (or something)?
I've had Limewire for a long time, Ren recommended it. I find that while you won't get as many results, or as many obscure items, the stuff on it tends to be of a higher quality than what Kazaa has. Kazaa is just too popular to be good.
I've been visiting an indie musicians forum, and most of the guys there distribute their stuff via P2P software. So I download their stuff, and share it.
And saying that the music industry already makes a lot of money is no excuse. Is it right to steal money from the bank, or the government, or anyone, so long as you don't take too much? No, it's not.
Funny you would say that. A Canadian judge ruled that having songs available for download on your computer was no different than having a photocopier available in a public library, and thus not illegal.
