Vote for Me!

So.

I did this film camp thing over the summer, and the other day I got a letter from them informing me that my film had been shortlisted for an Oustanding Achievment award.

Which is pretty cool.

But if it wins, through online voting, I get a $500 scholarship to return this summer, which would be cool. And, of course, the bragging rights (also cool).

So, I'm going to bribe, coerce, and blackmail you all into visiting giftsfilms.com/onscreen/w...code=W0335 and voting for "Cafe" (my film, obviously).

You can watch it if you like, it's not bad for being made in 5 days. It's done in Super8 format, which is (in the simplest terms) old school film technology used in silent movies.

The movie itself explores the relationship between perception and reality.

Enjoy!

Hey. I just realized you can vote for more than one movie...

In that case, I'll also offer you this unique oppertunity to vote for the other film I did (also shortlisted, in a different category) for an award.

Lying in the Shadows is a Dramatic piece done with digital video, and again explores a relationship between what one knows, thinks one knows, and doesn't know. Or something.

Cheers!

RealPlayer. It's in tiny little text above the tables.

Is it a good video? I might watch it then.

Realplayer, fat chance that I'm installing that.

I'll dig around to try find the codecs later.
