I started reading Dune: Messiah the other day. Been years since I read the first one, but I was browsing the library shelves and saw D:M. Couldn't resist.

You will love "Children of Dune" even more. Recommended.

I liked the first Dune the best. Frank Herbert is an interesting fellow.

Titus - if you like WoT (yeah I do too:)) then you MUST read the Song of Ice and Fire books by G.R.R.Martin. I believe they're titled "A Game of Thrones" "A Clash of Kings" and "A Storm of Swords" not necessarily in that order. :)

I was a foaming-at-the-mouth WoT fan for a couple years. Then the waits got to me. I have to read the entire series each time a new book comes out, just so I know what's going on. Now I'm just an avid fan. But yeah, I'll look those books up.

heh, we both have Star Trek Best Destiny

A pretty good read, I mainly liked it for the struggle with the pirates though, Ive always wanted to RP something like the stuff they had to do in the book. McGuyver your way out of a blasted and broken ship...

heh.. yeah.

I liked the characters created in Final Frontier (Kirk's father and Capt. April) and so grabbed it when I found it. Anyway, I enjoyed it too.

You've read more Star Trek than Star Wars.... Sacrilidge...

You should read the Halo prequel, don't remember what it's called, but it was a pretty cool book.

good grief, if I listed all my books... ^_^;

I have the entire WoT series, all of the Terry Pratchett Discworld books and Good Omens, The Song of Albion series by Stephen Lawhead, various Michael Crichton books (Timeline, Prey, The Lost World), various Dean Koontz books (Odd Thomas, By the Light of the Moon, From the Corner of His Eye), The Song of Ice and Fire series by GRR Martin, Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister, Mirror Mirror, and about a bazillion more. I have a few of the Voyager Star Trek books, and a few Star Wars books (The Courtship of Princess Leia, Lando Calrissian and the Mind Harp of Sharu, and Han Solo's Revenge... I probably have others)

...I love books. I hate libraries, because I don't like giving books back.

The Fall of Reach by Eric Nylud.

I also suggest the Halo 2 prequel, First Strike by Eric Nylud.
