Last year I built a potato cannon that could put a spud through a refrigerator cardboard box. Through both walls. And I've seen pictures of spud guns putting spuds through half-inch plywood.

Makeshift blow pipes (straws and paper) and non-lethal slingshots are acceptable too.

Oh, and those cool bows and cross bows that fire suction cup darts that you play cowboys and indians with when your five.

ha there is one of those sitting outside one of the engineering buildings up at my college, and it's huge.
