Yeah, spam block is mainly enabled on larger boards which have been or in fear of being spammed.

Just think of it like this, if someone spammed the entire RP forum here, you would loose all 20 pages worth of your RP's.

All you could hope for then is for ezBoard to restore your ezBoard, which is usualll dated a few months back prior to the attack.

I've always been able to block spam attacks on my board, but I've learned enabling the "post flood safety", pretty much prevents the guy from ever trying it.

BTW, admins/mods are not affected by the post flood safety check.

Ive never hit it here, and I honestly hate boards that do have it turned on. Tis so annoying at times when your in a hurry to make a few last posts and you have to wait. Gods, I hate that.

Well what would you rather have...

A: Posting freely as many as times as you want within minutes, but then one day your RP forum gets spammed and all your RP's are lost!

or

B: You have th annoyance of waiting an extra couple of minutes, but while having the satisfacion of knowing that your RP's are safe.
