In honor of Halloween on the way, let's post some scary stories. They can be true, they can be fiction, they can be your own accounts or your friend's. But please, nothing corny like "the Olson twins are making another movie!" I want REAL scary stories demmit. So post 'em. :)
Here's my first one. My friend's friend's account. We'll just call her Sarah.
Sarah was home alone babysitting one night. It was her first time and her parents thought it'd be wise to tell the neighbors to keep checking on them to make sure that everything was going okay. So the neighbors would peek out of the window every once and a while, or call.
Well, it was getting late and they checked out of the window once more and saw some strange people standing on the pourch to Sarah's house. They all looked pale and appeared to be hobos because of how torn and dirty their clothes were. There was a strange glow about them, but they thought nothing of it because they were too worried about poor sweet Sarah. So they called her up to ask her what was going on.
"Who are those people over at your house?"
"What are you talking about? No one's here besides me and my brother." Sarah said.
The neighbors looked out of the window. "THey're on the porch. Maybe they're lost. Go to the door and see what they want."
Sarah said alright and went to the door which wasn't far from the phone. The neighbors saw the light pour out onto the porch and onto the people, but Sarah acted as though she didn't see them. She merely looked from left to right then towards the neighbor's house.
"I don't see anyone." She said.
"But they're standing RIGHT in front of you!"
The people on the porch turned their heads towards the neighbor's house and smiled at them, then slowly disappeared. Sarah then shivered.
"Why is it so cold out here? It's in the middle of summer." She said.
Apparently they found out that there was some car accident not too far from them. The family died in the accident and when the neighbors saw the picture they were freaked out to find that the family looked exactly like the people on the porch.
