ACK! For that much money I could build a PC that would run not only laps around that, but it could do it without breaking a sweat.

That thing has a so-so processor (speed wise, though speed means little these days), is quite short on RAM, and has a super lame graphics card. Plus it's built into the monitor. If the monitor dies, you're out one computer.

My school bought brand new eMacs for all our labs.

Not only do they suck only mildly less than the old ones, they're UGLY.

Although on the case of RAM, I understand that macs utilize it differently from PCs . . .although my mind is so seriously degraded by substances far beyond my control, I could be talking absolute grade A+ bullshit.
