PS2
LMFAOLOLOMGWTF!!! :D
Gamecube is abysmal. I work in a video store (yes they took me back) and when I'm not stoned I see the games that come out for that shit, it's like kiddie hour on the Geriatric channel, a bunch of half-hearted shit games that pretty much summarize all the things old people think kids like. It's like in Kas' fantasy world that he told me about the other day where the kids he's friends with don't swear.
And guys, cut that shit out, I'm the one who does the uncomfortable homoerotic humor around here thanks.
:: coughs :: I think he was just doing a parody of the Sally Field speech from when she won the Oscar..

Damalis don't worry about the PS2 becoming obsolete.. not just yet. The new system that's coming out is the PSP which is the PlayStation portable.. it's not like a PSOne made into a handheld it's actually a bad ass handheld that's probably gonna be the best handheld system ever.
But don't worry about the PSP pushing the PS2 aside because it won't happen.

X-box II is slated for release in less than a year. I imagine Playstation III will be coming out in the same time period to compete.
Anyone remember what it was like when virtual entertainment systems had at least semi-original names?
That never happened. Nintento led to Super Ninento, which led to Nintendo 64. And Gameboy led to Gameboy Slim or some stupid shit like that.
Seriously - this is an improvement.
Plus, "II" sounds cool. It's like, "the old one, but better. Mark II."

PS3 is slated for release sometime in late 2005, early 2006. No official word from Sony yet. PSP is not a replacement to the PS2, it is Sony's foray into the handheld world. I don't think it'll do too well, it's got absolutely horrible battery life, which happens to be a bad thing for a portable system. Compared to Nintendo's DS, and the as-yet unannounced new Gameboy, I think it'll be a low seller.
Theren, Gamecube rocks because a great majority of its games are worth buying, and are fun. With the other consoles you get mostly sucky games, and a few good ones. The Gamecube controls are simple, the controller feels natural, it’s small and portable, I dunno, it’s like the ideal system to me.
